A necktie system includes a body having a knot portion, a neck support portion, a first hanging portion extending from the knot portion, and a second hanging portion extending from the knot portion in a same direction as the first hanging portion. The first hanging portion includes a front surface, a rear surface, a first end opposite from the knot portion, and an aperture between the knot portion and the first end that extends from the front surface to the rear surface. A width of the aperture is less than a width of the first hanging portion. The second hanging portion covers a portion of the front surface of the first hanging portion from the knot portion of the body to the aperture. The second hanging portion extends through the aperture in the first hanging portion.

Each leaf is pivotally attached to the other leafs by a means of attachment; a removable knot also having a plurality of designs matching the tie designs; the knot revealing its multiple designs by way of knot leafs.

A bow tie is provided. The bow tie includes a first discrete portion, the first discrete portion having a first connecting end and a first tying end and a second discrete portion, the second discrete portion having a second connecting end and a second tying end. A garment, which may be a turtleneck sweater, shirt, blouse, top, dress, or other similar garment, with an adjustable collar. The adjustable collar is an open collar having first and second panel sections attached, respectively, to the two ends of the open collar. The free end of said first panel section may be removably secured to a free end of said second panel section in varying styles to allow for a range of aesthetics and comfort levels, such as in a bowtie closure or knot closure.

A diamond bow tie grading system including a structured lighting environment, and an ability to view a diamond at different tilt angles, using the views to find a transition angle where a dark area on the diamond brightens and assigning a bow tie rating using the transition angle. The diamond bow tie grading system may have an observation enclosure with an interior, a gemstone-seat for holding a diamond, located inside the interior of the observation enclosure, a viewport located on the observation enclosure that provides a view of the gemstone-seat, and a tilt angle readout that provides a tilt angle. The interior around the viewport is a dark circle representing an angle of obscuration. The diamond bow tie grading system may include a gemstone-seat manipulator that changes the tilt angle. The viewport may have two viewport openings to provide binocular vision to an observer.

In one embodiment an endless loop of fabric of varying width includes a relatively narrow segment providing a neckband, and a first blade and a second blade of variable width extending in opposite directions along the loop and away from the neckband. At least a first transition region, between the blades or between the neck band and the blades, is of such narrow width relative to the blade width that the transition region accepts at least a first knot which defines a constricted region of the endless neck tie between the neck band and the blades.
