Extensible Dressings
The present invention generally relates to dressings such as bandages or tapes having improved extensibility and conformability to human skin and joints.
Nerve Stimulation System
A treatment system including one or more of a wound dressing having one or more of a substrate element, a dressing member disposed on the substrate element, an adhesive element disposed on the substrate element, and a tether connecting the wound dressing to a treatment device.
SUPER-ABSORBENT ADVANCED WOUND DRESSING WITH DRESSING FULL INDICATION
A wound dressing includes a hydrophilic foam layer, a drape layer, superabsorbent projections, and printed indicators. The hydrophilic foam layer is configured to engage a wound bed and has a first side and a second side, the second side configured to face the wound bed. The drape layer has a first side and a second side, the second side configured to face the first side of the hydrophilic foam layer. The plurality of non-contiguous superabsorbent projections are fixed to and extend from the first side of the hydrophilic foam layer towards the second side of the drape layer. The one or more non-contiguous printed indicators surround one or more of the plurality of superabsorbent projections.
Removable and replaceable dressing interface for a negative-pressure therapy system
A dressing interface for connecting a negative-pressure source to a dressing may have a coupling member comprising an aperture, a first adhesive region having a first region peel strength, and a second adhesive region having a second region peel strength less than the first region peel strength. The dressing interface may further have a flange coupled to the coupling member, and a conduit housing coupled to the flange and extending through the aperture in the contact layer.
NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY DRESSINGS COMPRISING (METH)ACRYLATE PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE WITH ENHANCED ADHESION TO WET SURFACES
Negative pressure wound dressings comprising pressure-sensitive adhesives with enhanced adhesion to wet surfaces, obtained from crosslinking a pre-adhesive composition comprising poly(meth)acrylate macromolecules that comprise a number-average molecular weight of from about 25000 to about 200000, and methods of using such dressings.
LOW-PROFILE REDUCED PRESSURE TREATMENT SYSTEM
A low-profile reduced pressure treatment apparatus and system are provided. The apparatus includes a moldable conduit holder, a conduit through the conduit holder, and a flexible base. The conduit holder has first and second bulkhead surfaces, a convex top surface, and a bottom surface adapted to conform to a tissue contact region adjacent to a tissue site. An end of the conduit is substantially flush with the first bulkhead surface and a longitudinal axis of the conduit is substantially perpendicular to the first and second bulkhead surfaces. The base is connected on a first side to the bottom surface of the conduit holder, and extends beyond the first bulkhead surface to form an overlay zone adjacent the first bulkhead surface. An adhesive is disposed on a second side of the flexible base to secure the flexible base to the tissue contact region.
EASY TO APPLY DRESSINGS
A medical dressing having a multilayer assembly is described. The dressing includes a polyurethane film layer that is adhesively secured over a wound or other location on a user's skin. Also described are label strips that can be incorporated into the dressing. The label strips can include text, indicia, logos, or other markings which are applied to the strip prior to or after application of the dressing. A perforated single panel liner is utilized which covers the adhesive face of the film layer. The single panel liner includes a line of perforations extending across the liner.

Wound Dressing With Adhesive Margin
A wound dressing comprising: a backing sheet; a layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive on the backing sheet; an island of absorbent material having smaller area than the backing sheet and applied onto a central region of the backing sheet so as to leave a margin of adhesive-coated backing sheet around the absorbent material, and an apertured wound facing layer applied over the absorbent material and adhered to the backing sheet around said island by said pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the apertured wound facing layer comprises an apertured substrate having a coating of a silicone gel on the wound facing surface thereof, the open area of the apertured wound facing layer is from about 5% to about 75%, and the apertured wound facing layer comprises apertures having an open area of from about 2 mm2 to about 100 mm.sup.2.
