TEST POINT ADAPTOR FOR COAXIAL CABLE CONNECTIONS
A test point adaptor includes a body having a first and second end along a longitudinal axis. The second end includes an outer conductive sleeve. A cap includes a sleeve and a terminator. The body includes a first and second interface at the first and second ends, respectively. A center conductor extends though the body from the first interface toward the second interface. The second end includes a conical contact surface of the outer conductive sleeve. The cap matingly engages the second interface. The second end includes an electrically conductive contact member in electrical contact with the center conductor and a gripping arrangement electrically coupled with the electrically conductive contact member. The cap includes a conical contact surface to engage the conical contact surface of the outer conductive sleeve. A terminator is received by the gripping arrangement, which electrically couples the terminator to the center conductor.
Universal Test Interface Systems and Methods
Presented embodiments facilitate efficient and effective flexible implementation of different types of testing procedures in a test system. In one embodiment, a testing system comprises: a loadboard including multiple universal interfaces with the same coupling configuration, a plurality of devices under test (DUTs) including a plurality of DUT interfaces respectively, and a plurality of universal adapters including a plurality of matching universal interfaces that match the plurality of universal interfaces in the loadboard and a plurality of matching DUT interfaces that match the plurality of DUT interfaces in the respective DUT. The plurality of universal adapters are selectively coupled to the loadboard and the plurality of universal adapters are selectively coupled to the DUTs, respectively. A first one of the plurality of DUT interfaces includes a different coupling configuration than a second one of the plurality of DUT interfaces.
POWER CONNECTOR WITH INTEGRATED STATUS MONITORING
An electrical power system including an electrical power connector, a contact configured to electrically connect a power supply to a load, a first sensor configured to sense a first characteristic of the electrical power connector, a second sensor configured to sense a second characteristic of the electrical power connector, and an electronic controller. The electronic controller configured to receive a first signal indicative of the first characteristic, receive a second signal indicative of the second characteristic, compare the first signal to a first threshold, compare the second signal to a second threshold, and dynamically adjust at least one selected from a group consisting of the first threshold and the second threshold. Wherein the dynamic adjustment is based on at least one selected from a group consisting of a measured or calculated parameter, an installation condition, an operational limit, a known operational behavior, and parameter threshold information.
Contactless coupling between test and measurement system and a device under test
A test and measurement probe coupler that may include a substrate, a first signal tap conductor, a first signal contact, a first ground tap conductor, and a first ground contact. The first signal tap conductor may extends a first length along the substrate. The first signal contact may be electrically coupled to the first signal tap conductor, and the first ground tap conductor may extend a second length along the substrate. The first ground tap conductor may be substantially parallel to the first signal tap conductor. The first ground tap conductor may be disposed in a first lateral direction away from the first signal tap conductor, and the first ground contact electrically may be coupled to the first ground tap conductor.

The present invention relates to a measurement or inspection apparatus which can be adjusted depending on a color of a plugged-in cable. In this manner the display of measurement values and the colour of the plugged-in cable can be coordinated to each other such that a simple assignment between measurement values and cable can be performed.
Probe, measuring system as well as test setup
A probe for measurements on a device under test with low source impedance is described. The probe has a resistor coupled in series between a probe tip and a probe cable connected to a measuring apparatus. The resistor having an impedance equal to a characteristic impedance of the probe cable or equal to the difference between the characteristic impedance of the probe cable and an output resistance of the device under test. Further, a measuring system and a test setup are described.
PROBE
A probe is connected to a signal conductor of a signal cable when used, and is capable of coming into contact with a signal conductor of a mating receptacle. The probe includes a barrel that is a tubular conductor and that is electrically connectable to the signal conductor of the signal cable; a plunger that is a conductor and has a proximal end disposed in the barrel and a distal end projecting from the barrel and is configured to come into contact with the mating receptacle; and a coil spring disposed in the barrel. The coil spring urges the proximal end of the plunger in a direction toward the distal end of the plunger. The barrel includes a contact portion that is in contact with the plunger at a position closer to a distal end of the barrel than the proximal end of the plunger.

A power meter includes a power meter housing and a terminal block that is movable relative to the power meter housing between a first orientation where two or more terminals of the terminal block face a first direction, and a second orientation where the two or more terminals of the terminal block face a second direction. A controller is operatively coupled to the two or more terminals of the terminal block in the first orientation and in the second orientation and is configured to determine a number of power monitor parameters for one or more phases of power that is delivered to a load based at least in part on signals at the two or more terminals of the terminal block.
Probe with radio frequency power detector, test system and test method

In particular, the probe comprises a power detector directly connected to the contacting elements of the probe.
