SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING LOOPBACK TEST ON PCIe INTERFACE
An apparatus is provided for testing a PCIe interface on a printed circuit assembly. The apparatus can include a plurality of electrical contacts to couple to a PCIe interface of the printed circuit assembly, wherein a respective electrical contact corresponds to a pin of the PCIe interface. The apparatus can also include a plurality of resistors. Each resistor is coupled between two adjacent electrical contacts. At least one electrical contact corresponds to a ground, power, or not connected (NC) pin of the PCIe interface, thereby allowing a loopback test to determine connectivity between the pins of the PCIe interface and the printed circuit assembly.
Method for testing a power module
A method for testing a power module includes connecting an output capacitor of the power module to a load meter; inputting an input signal, an enable signal, a PowerGood signal, and an output signal of the power module to first, second, third, and fourth channels of an oscillometer, respectively; adjusting the load meter to a no-load state, and capturing and storing the power-on waveforms and power-off waveforms of four channels of signals of the power module; adjusting the load meter to a full-load state, and capturing and storing the power-on waveforms and power-off waveforms of the four channels of signals of the power module; and determining whether the power-on sequence, power-off sequence, overshoot voltage value, and undershoot voltage value of the power module are normal based on the power-on waveforms and power-off waveforms of the four channels of signals stored by the load meter under the no-load and full-load states.

The present disclosure provides a method, system and apparatus for detecting polarity of component, and a computer-readable storage medium. The component polarity detection method includes: selecting first component symbols similar to graphs in a pre-created template library of component polarity symbols from a polar graph layer of a to-be-detected printed circuit board (PCB), and sifting out second component symbols each having polarity from the selected first component symbols; and traversing each second component symbol having polarity, to detect whether a polarity symbol that has been already stored in the template library is in the second component symbol having polarity; if yes, examining whether a polarity position of the polarity symbol in the second component symbol is correct; and if the polarity position is incorrect, outputting a report indicating that the polarity position of the polarity symbol in the second component symbol is incorrect.
Method and device for electrical testing of an electrical assembly for defects
A method for electrical testing of an electrical circuit for defects, all electrical or electronic parts are measured simultaneously, so an electrical image of the electrical circuit is received by a control/evaluation unit, in which an electrical excitation signal of an electrical current or an electrical voltage is applied simultaneously by the control/evaluation unit and a plurality of driver circuits at a plurality of test points of the electrical circuit, which test points may be arranged in any way. The electrical excitation signals applied via the driver circuits differ with regard to their spectral characteristic. The electrical current flowing in the particular test point and the resultant electrical voltage are recorded synchronously with regard to a waveform in relation to an electrical ground potential, and subsequently parameters of the parts and their electrical connections are calculated by the control/evaluation unit.
INDUCTOR DETECTION
A power control integrated circuit (IC) chip can include a direct current (DC)-DC converter that outputs a switching voltage in response to a switching output enable signal. The power control IC chip can also include an inductor detect circuit that detects whether an inductor is conductively coupled to the DC-DC converter and a powered circuit component in response to an inductor detect signal. The power control IC chip can further include control logic that (i) controls the inductor detect signal based on an enable DC-DC signal and (ii) controls the switching output enable signal provided to the DC-DC converter and a linear output disable signal provided to a linear regulator based on a signal from the inductor detect circuit indicating whether the inductor is conductively coupled to the DC-DC converter and the powered circuit component.
Measurement system and method for testing a device under test
A measurement system for testing a device under test is described, with at least two antennas, at least two reflectors, a signal generation and/or analysis equipment and a test location. Each of the antennas is assigned to a corresponding reflector. Each of the antennas is configured to transmit/receive an electromagnetic signal so that a beam path is provided between the respective antenna and the test location. The electromagnetic signal is reflected by the respective reflector so that the electromagnetic signal corresponds to a planar wave. The beam paths have different angular orientations that are adjustable. At least one antenna and the corresponding reflector are coupled with each other so that an integrated beam path adjustment unit is established including at least one antenna and the corresponding reflector. Further, a testing method is described.

A method for obtaining board parameters of a printed circuit board, including the following steps: obtaining parameter information of a stripline on the printed circuit board; obtaining physical parameters of the stripline based on the parameter information of the stripline and a predetermined electromagnetic simulation application; calculating required board parameters of the printed circuit board based on the parameter information and the physical parameters of the stripline. In the present disclosure, the physical parameters of the stripline are obtained based on the physical nature of the stripline on the printed circuit board, and there is no need for fitting or adopting a hypothetical model in order to obtain board parameters corresponding to each frequency point of the stripline; the present disclosure is simple and straightforward during operation, and the obtained board parameters of the printed circuit board are highly accurate.
Capacitive test needle for measuring electrically conductive layers in printed circuit board holes
The invention relates to a test needle for measuring electrically conductive layers in holes of printed circuit boards, as well as to a test probe equipped with such a test needle and to a flying probe tester for testing printed circuit boards equipped with such a test needle or such a test probe. The test needle has a capacitive measuring body, which is connected via a cable to a capacitive measuring device. The cable is shielded so that only the capacitive measuring body can form a capacitive coupling with other electrically conductive bodies. This makes it possible to determine this capacitive coupling with a high local resolution.
