An object of the present invention is to reduce leakage magnetic flux in a magnetic sensor provided with a sensor substrate and an external magnetic member. A magnetic sensor includes: a sensor substrate having an element forming surface on which magnetic sensing elements are formed, first and second side surfaces, and a back surface; a first external magnetic member provided between the first and second magnetic sensing elements; and a second external magnetic member having first and second parts and covering the first side surface and second side surface, respectively. The first and second parts of the second external magnetic member protrude from the element forming surface. According to the present invention, since the first and second parts of the second external magnetic member protrude from the element forming surface, leakage of magnetic flux between the first and second external magnetic members is reduced.

In-wheel motor driving apparatus

The present invention relates to an in-wheel motor driving apparatus for reducing weight, improving Hall sensor assembly performance, and reducing a defect rate. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the weight of an in-wheel motor can be reduced by separating a suspension housing and a shaft and applying different materials thereto. Furthermore, the ease of assembling a Hall sensor can be improved, and the defect rate can be reduced.

MAGNETIC SENSOR DEVICE

A magnetic sensor device for detecting linear movement of a moving body includes a magnetic field generation unit and a magnetic field detection unit, which is provided to be capable of detecting the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generation unit. The magnetic field detection unit is provided to be relatively moveable along a first axis accompanying linear movement of the moving body. The first axis is parallel to the direction of movement of the moving body. The magnetic field generation unit includes a first magnetic field generation unit and a second magnetic field generation unit. The first magnetic field generation unit and the second magnetic field generation unit are arranged substantially parallel to the first axis. A first line segment parallel to a first magnetization direction of the first magnetic field generation unit is inclined with respect to a second axis orthogonal to the first axis. A second line segment parallel to a second magnetization direction of the second magnetic field generation unit is inclined with respect to the second axis. The first line segment and the second line segment are positioned symmetrically with respect to the second axis and intersect each other to open toward the first axis.

A flow rate sensor system for an agricultural sprayer includes a drum housing and a central passage housing defining a flow path, a Hall-effect sensor, a Hall-effect sensor window in a display housing, a magnetic carrier within the drum housing, and a magnet positioned in the magnetic carrier. The flow path has a first portion generally parallel to an axis, and a second vortex portion around the axis. The Hall-effect sensor faces the axis. The Hall-effect sensor window is between the Hall-effect sensor and the axis. The magnetic carrier is configured to rotate about the axis. Related methods are also disclosed.

WIRELESS SENSOR WITH BEACON TECHNOLOGY

A wireless sensor for an associated machine or machine part which includes a communications module that wirelessly transmits data related to the associated machine or machine part. The communications module is mounted on the sensor and the sensor is disposed under the bottom side of the control circuitry. A sensor is configured to measure one or more properties of the associated machine or machine part. The wireless sensor can be used with a smart device app such that information from the wireless sensor can be received and displayed on the smart device.

Sensor device and method

Sensor devices and corresponding methods are provided. When a signal path output (COMP OUT) indicates no threshold crossings, diagnosis is performed with a timing based on a clock. In case threshold crossings are indicated, diagnosis is performed with a timing based on threshold crossings.

Current sensor having stray field immunity

Methods and apparatus for a current sensor having an elongate current conductor having an input and an output and a longitudinal axis. First, second, third and fourth magnetic field sensing elements are coupled in a bridge configuration and positioned in a plane parallel to a surface of the current conductor such that the second and fourth magnetic field sensing elements comprise inner elements and the first and third magnetic field sensing elements comprise outer elements. Embodiments of the sensor reduce the effects of stray fields on the sensor.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for weight detection

Apparatuses, systems, and associated methods of manufacturing are described that provide for improved sensor devices. An example sensor device includes a magnet mounting tube and a magnet supported within the magnet mounting tube. The sensor device includes a sensor mounting tube that receives at least a portion of the magnet mounting tube and supported magnet therein. The sensor device includes a magnetic sensor affixed to the sensor mounting tube. The sensor device includes a spring positioned around the magnet mounting tube and the sensor mounting tube such that the magnet and the magnetic sensor are surrounded by the spring. In an instance in which a load is applied to either a first end or second end of the spring, the magnet mounting tube translates relative the sensor mounting tube so as to induce a change in magnetic flux identified by the magnetic sensor indicative of a weight of the load.

Actuator assembly having rotary sensor responsive to rotation of magnet

An actuator assembly comprises: a rotatable shaft, a magnet mounted to the rotatable shaft, non-magnet material positioned between the magnet and the shaft, a rotary sensor configured to be responsive to rotation of the magnet for generating a signal, and a housing comprising a magnetic shield surrounding at least a part of the rotary sensor and at least a part of the magnet mounted to the shaft to shield the sensor and the magnet from an external magnetic field. The actuator assembly further comprises a magnet holder fixing the magnet to the shaft. The magnetic shield encompasses the magnetic flux from the magnet to the rotary sensor and also shields the rotary sensor from any external magnetic field such as stray field or magnetic field from the outside of the housing. The non-magnetic material may reduce leakage magnetic flux from the magnet to the shaft.
