A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mounting arm and a mirror head having a mirror reflective element. An electrically-operated actuator includes a first attachment element that attaches at an actuator-mounting bracket of the mounting arm and a second attachment element that attaches at the mirror head. The actuator includes first and second motors that are electrically operated to cause adjustment of the mirror head relative to the mounting arm about respective first and second pivot axes. A mounting post of the mounting arm passes through an opening of the mirror head, the opening providing clearance between the mirror head and the mounting arm to allow movement of the mirror head relative to the mounting arm during electrical operation of the actuator when the base mounting portion of the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly is mounted at the exterior portion of the side door of the equipped vehicle.

A laser beam directing system including a first deflection mirror which is connected with an elevation axis of the laser beam directing system; a primary laser which is coupleable into telescope optics by the first deflection mirror; a first auxiliary laser that is oriented in parallel to an azimuth rotation axis of the laser beam directing system; a second auxiliary laser that is oriented parallel to an elevation rotation axis of the laser beam directing system; and a first detector, wherein the first auxiliary laser, the second auxiliary laser and the first detector are arranged and oriented in the laser beam directing system so that the first deflection mirror is alignable by comparing beams of the first auxiliary laser and the second auxiliary laser impacting the first detector so that a beam from the primary laser is coupleable into the telescope optics parallel to the elevation rotation axis.

PHYSICAL OBJECT PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20230184667 · 2023-06-15 ·

A physical object processing system is described that includes a process station, a transport facility, an optical imaging system, an image sensor and data process facilities. The transport facility transports objects along the process station that performs processing steps to the object. The image sensor acquires a digital image from an optical image of the physical objects provided by the optical imaging system. The data process facilities in turn process the digital image to control the process station. The optical imaging system maps the optical image of the at least one physical object onto the image sensor at an at least substantially fixed position during a time-interval for acquiring the digital image.

Dynamic Optical Assembly For Laser-Based Additive Manufacturing

A method and an apparatus of a powder bed fusion additive manufacturing system that enables a quick change in the optical beam delivery size and intensity across locations of a print surface for different powdered materials while ensuring high availability of the system. A dynamic optical assembly containing a set of lens assemblies of different magnification ratios and a mechanical assembly may change the magnification ratios as needed. The dynamic optical assembly may include a transitional and rotational position control of the optics to minimize variations of the optical beam sizes across the print surface.

A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head pivotally mounted at a mounting arm configured for attachment at a side of a vehicle. The mirror head includes a reflective element. A powerfold actuator is operable to pivot the mirror head relative to the mounting arm between at least a folded position and a drive position. The powerfold actuator includes a primary detent that is engaged to maintain the mirror head at the drive position when the mirror head is pivoted via the powerfold actuator to the drive position. The powerfold actuator includes a secondary detent. Following pivoting via the powerfold actuator of the mirror head to the folded position, when the mirror head is manually pivoted from the folded position to the drive position, the primary detent is disengaged and the secondary detent is engaged to maintain the mirror head at the drive position.
