Absorbent Articles With Elastics In Multiple Layers
Absorbent articles that include elastics in multiple layers are disclosed herein.
BELTED ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH DISTINGUISHABLE BELT ENDS
A belted disposable article includes a chassis including a first covering layer having a first surface intended to face towards the user, the article further comprising a pair of belt portions. The first belt portion has a free end which carries a fastener adapted to be attached to an exterior surface of the other of the belt portions. The first and second belt portions being folded over the first surface to form a folded belt configuration prior to use of said article, whereby the first belt portion is arranged on top of the second belt portion. In addition, a belt-opening trigger zone is disposed on the first belt portion and arranged adjacent the free end of the first belt portion.
Absorbent Articles Having Fully Removable Fastening Members
An absorbent article includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a fully removable fastening member configured to join a portion of the first waist region to the second waist region. The fastening member includes a first end region comprising a first end, a second end region comprising a second end, a first fastener on a first surface of the fastening member and in the first end region, and a second fastener on the first surface and in the second end region. The fastening member includes a grasp region either partially laterally outboard of the first fastener or laterally outboard of the first fastener in the first end region. The grasp region has a different physical property than a remainder of the fastening member.
Diaper fastener
A diaper fastener is provided of the type having a substantially planar elastically extensible base member and three spaced hook units that have teeth operable to engage the fabric of a diaper in relevant zones thereof with the elastically extensible part stretched and operative to maintain the teeth in engagement with the diaper fabric to hold the diaper in its functional position. At least one of the hook units and generally all three are each composed of two parts that are permanently clipped together from opposite sides of the base member by inter-engaging formations. One of the parts has the hook teeth formed integral therewith and the two parts co-operate with the base member to physically locate the hook unit on the base member. Preferably, each hook unit is carried by an arm forming part of the planar base. Each hook unit has a hook part and a clamping part.
Anti-skid material for ears or fastening tabs of absorbent article
An absorbent article that has a reduced tendency to shift when worn. The absorbent article includes a chassis with a front waist portion, a crotch portion, and a back waist portion. Side panels or ears are attached to the front and back waist portions of the chassis, and fastening components are attached to the back ears. Anti-skid elements are added to the outside surface and/or inside surface of the front side panels or ears and/or to the inside surface of the fastening tabs, such as by applying an elastomeric strip in a substantially vertical direction. When the absorbent article is fastened to the wearer attaching the fastening components on the back ears to the front waist portion of the absorbent article, the anti-skid elements interface with the front waist portion, the front ears, and/or the wearer to exert friction and thereby reduce shifting of the fastened absorbent article.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article (1) comprising a main body part (2) including a top sheet (3), a back sheet (4) and an absorbent core (5) disposed therebetween, and a hook member (11) provided on a non-skin facing side of the main body part (2), wherein the hook member (11) comprises a base part (12) and a plurality of engagement elements (13) projecting from the base part (12), and the base part (12) of the hook member (11) is bonded to the main body part (2) with an adhesive part (14) disposed in a stripe pattern which extends in an extending direction of the hook member (11).
Methods and apparatus for application of nested zero waste ear to traveling web
The present invention provides a method of providing a disposable product with a contoured leg opening. In this method at least one chip is removed from at least one ear of a disposable product. The chip may be removed from an ear prior to attaching the ear to the chassis web. Alternatively, the chip may be removed from the ear after the ear is attached to the chassis web.
Absorbent articles with elastics in multiple layers
Absorbent articles that include elastics in multiple layers are disclosed herein.
Configurable absorbent articles
Configurable absorbent articles are provided. The absorbent articles may comprise a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent articles may comprise a first waist region, a second waist region, a crotch region extending intermediate the first waist region and the second waist region, and an outer cover material joined to the backsheet and forming a portion of a garment-facing surface of the absorbent article. The absorbent articles may comprise a pair of leg cuffs and a fully removable fastening member. The fastening member may comprise a first fastener on a first surface of the fastening member and positioned proximate to a first end and a second fastener on the first surface and positioned proximate to a second end. The absorbent articles may also comprise a wetness guard.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
In a half-open underpants-shaped diaper, a lateral end portion of a back waist portion is joined by a first joining portion to a lateral end portion of a front waist portion. The back waist portion includes an elastic region and a fastening portion on the other lateral side, the elastic region stretching/contracting in the lateral direction. The fastening portion is fastenable to the front waist portion when putting on the diaper, so that an end of the fastening portion closer to the elastic region is positioned on an end of an absorbent main body opposite to the first joining portion, the elastic region being located on a non-skin side of the other lateral end portion of the front waist portion, and having a stacking part in which the elastic region is stacked on the other lateral end portion of the front waist portion.
