Disclosed is a wearable article 20 comprising a main body 38 and a ring-like elastic belt 40 comprising a front belt and a back belt each formed by an inner sheet, an outer sheet, and a plurality of elastic bodies sandwiched therebetween and running in the transverse direction substantially parallel to each other, and at least a portion of the elasticity of at least some of the elastic bodies are removed of its elasticity, the transverse width of the elastic body having the longest length removed of its elasticity defined as a maximum elastic cut window; wherein the length of the article along the longitudinal axis is from 300 mm to 440 mm; and the maximum elastic cut window is less than 100 mm.

Absorbent articles that include elastics in multiple layers are disclosed herein.

A disposable undergarment having fastening means comprising a landing area and a pair of fasteners, wherein the landing area and the fasteners include multiple indicia for providing alignment at least in two, bi-directional orientations for horizontal and vertical alignment thereof.

A method of forming a disposable product includes feeding an incoming web of ear material, engaging the web with a rotating anvil, cutting ears from the web via the rotating anvil and interaction thereof with a corresponding die, so as to form pairs of ears having complimentary and nested ear shapes, and coupling the ears to at least one of a wing and a web of chassis material. In feeding the incoming web of ear material, the speed of the web is selectively varied between at least a first speed and a second speed, with the web being fed to the rotating die and anvil at the first speed to result in the cut ear shapes having a first height and the web being fed to the rotating die and anvil at the second speed to result in the cut ear shapes having a second height.

Described is a diaper that includes an absorbent core and a chassis surrounding the absorbent core. The chassis may include a first end and a second end, the first end including at least two tabs. Each of the at least two tabs may include a fastening portion with a grip portion and a handle portion. Each grip portion is configured to removably attach to a portion of the second end, and each fastening portion may include at least one cut portion extending through an entire thickness of the fastening portion.

The present invention provides a method of providing a disposable product with a contoured leg opening. In this method at least one chip is removed from at least one ear of a disposable product. The chip may be removed from an ear prior to attaching the ear to the chassis web. Alternatively, the chip may be removed from the ear after the ear is attached to the chassis web.

An absorbent article includes a first body portion, a second body portion and a crotch portion located between the first body portion and the second body portion. At least one of the first body portion or the second body portion includes at least one side panel having a multilayered portion. The multilayered portion includes at least a first layer and a second layer. The multilayered portion is obtained by folding the at least one side panel. The first and the second layer of the multilayered portion are connected to each other and the multilayered portion is provided with surface protrusions at one surface of the multilayered portion. Disposable pull-on diapers of the present disclosure may have optimized waist circumferential length and leg opening length.

A modified diaper for allowing its top edge to be pulled back without placing one's finger inside the diaper. The modified diaper includes a diaper base that includes an edge tab. The diaper base defines a conventional disposable baby diaper. The edge tab defines an exterior flap which extends around the circumference of a top edge of the diaper base to form a finger slot that extends from around the entire exterior circumference of the diaper base. A user can insert their finger into this finger slot in order to pull the adjacent section of the top edge of the diaper base, and the portions of the diaper base adjacent to that top edge section, away from the waist of a wearer of the modified diaper without needing to stick their finger into the area between the wearer and the modified diaper.

A wearable absorbent undergarment designed to eliminate the presence of moisture on a wearer's skin due to urination or urinary incontinence. Additional inner layers with an orifice for containing the male penis occludes the penis in an internal cavity, and, thereby, prevents skin contact with expelled fluids. The isolation decreases the chance of irritation, discomfort, and diaper rash developments.
