A toner having a toner particle including a toner base particle and an organosilicon polymer coating the toner base particle, wherein when S1 (μm.sup.2) is a total area of a non-coated part not coated with the organosilicon polymer on an outermost surface of the toner particle, S2 (μm.sup.2) is a total area of a coated part coated with the organosilicon polymer on the outermost surface of the toner particle, and SA1 (μm.sup.2) is a total of areas of non-coated part domains D1 with an area of not more than 0.10 μm.sup.2 in size in the non-coated part not coated with the organosilicon polymer, formulae (1) and (2) below are satisfied.

A toner for electrostatic charge image development is a toner for electrostatic charge image development including toner particles containing a binder resin and an external additive, wherein the binder resin contains a crystalline polyester resin and an amorphous polyester resin, the external additive includes Al—Si composite oxide particles, and a Si element content of the Al—Si composite oxide particles is in the range of 50 to 90 mass % and a Si element ratio on surfaces of the Al—Si composite oxide particles is in the range of 3 to 35 at %.

Titania-free toner additive formulation with cross-linked organic polymeric additive

A toner including a parent toner particle comprising at least one resin, in combination with an optional colorant, and an optional wax; and a surface additive formulation comprising at least one medium silica surface additive; at least one large cross-linked organic polymeric additive; at least one positive charging surface additive, wherein the at least one positive charging surface additive is (a) a titanium dioxide surface additive; and wherein the parent toner particles further contain a small silica; or (b) a non-titanium dioxide positive charging metal oxide surface additive; and wherein the parent toner particles further optionally contain a small silica; and wherein a total surface area coverage of all of the surface additives combined is 100 to 140 percent of the parent toner particle surface area.

An electrostatic image developing toner includes a toner particle, an external additive A, and an external additive B. At least the external additive A is present on the surface of the toner particles. At least the external additive B is present on the external additive A. The number of peaks of the external additive B on the external additive A is 5 or more and 100 or less per 30 μm peripheral length of the toner particle, the peaks having a height from the surface of the toner particle of 80 nm or more and 250 nm or less.

TONER

A toner is provided, which has a toner particle that contains a binder resin, and organosilicon polymer particle on a surface of the toner particle. A methanol concentration a (vol %) of the organosilicon polymer particle in a wettability test and a methanol concentration b (vol %) of the toner particle in a wettability test satisfy Expression (I) below:

An electrostatic image developing toner includes toner particles, an external additive A, and an external additive B. At least the external additive A is deposited on the surfaces of the toner particles. At least the external additive B is deposited on the external additive A. The external additive B includes an aggregate of two or more particles. The coverage of the toner particles with the external additive B is 3% by area or more with respect to the total surface area of the toner particles.

TONER

A toner comprising a toner particle comprising a binder resin and organosilicon polymer particles on a surface of the toner particle, wherein the binder resin comprising an amorphous resin and a crystalline polyester resin, an absolute value |SP.sub.cpes−SP.sub.si| of a difference between an SP value (SP.sub.si) of the organosilicon polymer particles and an SP value (SP.sub.cpes) of the crystalline polyester resin is not more than 2.00 (cal/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2, and an amount of adsorbed water in the organosilicon polymer particles at a temperature of 30° C. and a humidity of 80% RH is not more than 20 mg/g.

IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS

Toner contains toner base particles and an organosilicon polymer on the surface of the toner base particles, and silica particles are added to the toner as an external additive. The surface roughness Rz of an intermediate transfer belt, against which a blade abuts, in the width direction of the intermediate transfer belt perpendicular to the belt conveying direction is larger than the average particle diameter Ry of the organosilicon polymer and is smaller than the average particle diameter Rk of the silica particles.

An electrostatic image developing toner includes toner particles including a binder resin and a release agent, an external additive A, and an external additive B. At least the external additive A is present on the surface of the toner particles. At least the external additive B is present on the external additive A. The external additive B is an aggregate of two or more particles. The toner particles have an average circularity of 0.8 or more and 0.94 or less. The amount of the release agent present at the surface of the toner particles is 5 area % or more and 30 area % or less based on the total surface area of the toner particles.

Titania-Free Toner Additive Formulation With Cross-Linked Organic Polymeric Additive

A toner including a parent toner particle comprising at least one resin, in combination with an optional colorant, and an optional wax; and a surface additive formulation comprising at least one medium silica surface additive; at least one large cross-linked organic polymeric additive; at least one positive charging surface additive, wherein the at least one positive charging surface additive is (a) a titanium dioxide surface additive; and wherein the parent toner particles further contain a small silica; or (b) a non-titanium dioxide positive charging metal oxide surface additive; and wherein the parent toner particles further optionally contain a small silica; and wherein a total surface area coverage of all of the surface additives combined is 100 to 140 percent of the parent toner particle surface area.
