LED-backed housing split of a portable electronic device
This application relates to a wearable electronic device including a housing having an illumination region, where the housing can carry components that can include a processor capable of receiving an input signal and responding to the input signal by providing an illumination signal. The components can further include independently-controllable light-emitting units carried by the housing at the illumination region and in communication with the processor, the light-emitting units capable of (i) receiving the illumination signal from the processor, and (ii) presenting the notification by emitting an amount of light in accordance with the illumination signal.
Display device
A display device is configured such that a through-hole extends through a liquid crystal panel and a light guide plate, a fastener for coupling the hands of a watch is coupled to the through-hole, and the formation of a dark region is prevented due to interference between the fastener and light from a light source around the through-hole. At least one flat side surface for minimizing interference with the light from the light source is provided on the fastener, whereby uniform luminance is provided around the through-hole.
ACTIVE LIGHTING DEVICE TO BE WORN ON A PERSON'S WRIST
An active lighting device is placed on a person's wrist to light a path that the person is taking. The device is preferably in the form of a wristwatch. The device includes first light sources, which are controlled by a control unit. The first light sources are placed on a portion of a case. Each first light source activated by the control unit can produce a light beam of different orientation from another first light source activated by the control unit. The device further includes a motion sensor connected to the control unit to determine the wrist movement of the person wearing the device in order to allow the control unit to select certain first light sources to be activated depending on the person's wrist movement in order to light the path to be followed in the same defined forward direction.
Backlight unit of display device
A display device with at least one hole is susceptible to poor image quality because of the luminance difference between the front of the hole and behind the hole in relation to the plurality of light sources located along one edge of the backlight unit. To decrease the luminance difference, the distance between adjacent light sources are adjusted, the light ray directions are altered and cutout sections are provided.
LUMINOUS ELECTRONIC CLOCK
A luminous electronic clock includes a multi-diameter forward tapered case frame; a transparent plate installed in a front circumferential edge of the case frame with a sealing ring mounted between them; a dial spaced behind the transparent plate and having time markers, temperature numbers and humidity numbers provided thereon; clock, thermometer and hygrometer movements mounted on a back side of the dial; hands of the clock and pointers of the thermometer and the hygrometer mounted on movement shafts and located on a front side of the dial; a set of LED lights installed around the clock movement shaft and located behind the dial; battery holders mounted behind the dial; and a case back fixedly held to a rear circumferential edge of the case frame by retaining springs and having windows corresponding to the movements and the battery holders.
VERSATILE HOROLOGY COMPONENT
A horology component (1) for a timepiece, including a first portion (10) and a second portion (20), the first portion (10) comprising one part that is at least partially transparent and at least partially superposed on top of the second portion (20), this second portion (20) taking the form of a massive portion comprising a material capable of emitting at least one emission light wave if excited by at least one excitation light wave, and the at least partially transparent part of the first portion allowing an emission light wave emitted by the second portion (20) to be transmitted at least partially toward the outside of the horology component so that the horology component exhibits at least a first appearance by day and at least one different second appearance by night where the first portion (10) is backlit by an emission light wave emitted by the second portion (20).
DISPLAY METHOD, WRIST-WORN DEVICE AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed are a display method, a wrist-worn device and a computer-readable storage medium. The display method is applied to the wrist-worn device. The display method includes: emitting, via a light source, a first detection light; receiving, via a light identification unit, the second detection light formed by the first detection light and identifying the light parameter of the second detection light, wherein the light parameter of the second detection light carries the style information of the wristband; reading, via the controller, the style information and generating a screen display control signal according to the style information; and controlling, via the controller, the display unit on the device body to display a corresponding display mode according to the screen display control signal.
Wearable device and control method therefor
According to one embodiment of the preset specification, a method for controlling a wearable device for displaying visual information on a first display area and on a second display area can comprises the steps of: detecting that the wearable device has been changed to a charging state; displaying first visual information on a first display area; displaying second visual information on a second display area; detecting an event relating to a first application while the wearable device is in a charging state; and displaying, on the second display area, third visual information relating to the first application. At this time, the first visual information of the first display area can be displayed on a display unit of the wearable device, and the second visual information of the second display area can be displayed on the basis of a light source projected outside of the wearable device.
