A wearable article is provided that includes embedded fidget elements that may be manipulated by the wearer. The fidget elements can be discreetly incorporated into various locations on the wearable article such as at hemlines, pockets, and other areas accessible to the wearer of the article of clothing. Incorporating fidget elements into a wearable article reduces distractions caused by using fidget elements while also maintaining benefits such as comfort, focus, concentration, reduced stress and entertainment that fidget elements provide to the user. The type and locations of the fidget elements on a wearable article may be customized to the needs and desires of the wearer of the clothing article, as are the properties of the fidget elements themselves.

A strip of material and a method for protecting an edge of garment are disclosed. A strip of material according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a main body having two opposite longitudinal sides; a first extension extending from one of the longitudinal sides of the main body; and a second extension extending from the same longitudinal side of the main body, the first extension and the second extension being strip-like articles parallel to the longitudinal, the first extension having a first side facing the second extension and a second side opposite the first side, the first extension being adapted to attach to at least a portion of an edge of the garment but not covering the at least a portion of the edge at least on the second side, the second extension being suitable for covering at least a portion of the first side of the first extension, the at least a portion of the edge and the edge region of the garment.

Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for a clothing article including a first fabric having a first set of threads coupled to one another, wherein each thread in the first set of threads includes a metal compound with electropermanent magnet properties. Additionally, a second fabric may be coupled to the first fabric, wherein the second fabric includes a second set of threads having the metal compound with electropermanent magnet properties. In one example, electrical current may be applied to one or more target threads, wherein the electrical current may initiate a slide of the first fabric across the second fabric and/or initiate creation of a fold among the target threads.

An athletic strap includes a glove portion including a plantar aspect, a dorsal aspect, and a cavity defined between the plantar and dorsal aspects. The cavity is configured to receive at least part of a hand or a foot of a user. The glove portion further includes a first opening at one end of the glove portion and a second opening at another end of the glove portion. The first and second openings provide ingress to or egress from the cavity. The glove portion further includes a strip extending between the plantar and dorsal aspects. The strip is adjacent to the second opening. The glove portion further includes a first indicium disposed on the plantar aspect. The first indicium extends along a first axis. The first axis is coincident with a portion of the strip.

Aspects herein provide for a method of manufacturing a vented insulated garment using non-woven polymer sheets and garments produced therefrom. The method generally comprises providing a non-woven polymer sheet having one or more voided portions, positioning the sheet between two textile layers, and bonding the textile layers together at areas corresponding to the voided portions in the non-woven polymer sheet to form a seam. The seam may be optionally perforated.

Aspects herein provide for a method of manufacturing a vented insulated garment using sections of non-woven polymer material and garments produced therefrom. The method generally comprises positioning a section of non-woven polymer material between two textile layers, and bonding the textile layers together at areas adjacent to the section of non-woven polymer material to form seams. The seams may be optionally perforated.

The technology described herein generally relates to a garment that is insulating yet light weight, which may provide protection from the elements without weighing down the wearer. The garment in accordance with the technology described herein comprises a layer of thermally insulating sheet material having one or more voided portions in place of conventional down or other synthetic thermally insulating materials. The one or more voided portions allow the thermal insulation to be light weight and adequately protective in cooler/cold weather, without adding motion hindering bulk to the garment.

A multifunctional exercise and hair band device is disclosed. The exercise and hair band device includes a folded first layer, and a second layer placed alongside the first layer. The second layer connects to open side ends of the folded first layer, allowing the second layer to protrude outwardly from the first layer. The second layer is pulled through the first layer in an inside-out manner, resulting in the second layer residing within the first layer. The first and second layers' respective distal ends connect, forming a stretchable and durable exercise and hair band device. The exercise and hair band device utilizes soft stretchable fabric layers with a unique stitching technique and exhibits resilience against breakage. A protective garment is disclosed that is reusable and can be relaundered over 70 times. The garment is made from a single layer barrier fabric. Any seams on the protective fabric are covered with a seam tape. The seam tape can include an adhesive layer, a cover layer, and an optional film layer positioned between the cover layer and the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer can be a crosslinkable polyester polymer.

Golf jackets having improved collar constructions are provided. The height of the center section of the collar is longer than the height of the first and second end sections of the collar. When closed, the collar can provide an effective weather-proof seal around the neck region. In one embodiment, the jacket has a minimal amount of panels and stitched seams. The jacket has a lightweight construction, good temperature-regulating properties, high stretch/elasticity, and an outer surface that is highly waterproof. The jacket provides the golfer with a complete range of motion so that he/she is comfortable and can play the game easily.
