SLIPPAGE IDENTIFICATION AND INTELLIGENT ADAPTIVE CONTROL METHOD FOR PATROL ROBOT
Disclosed is a slippage identification and intelligent adaptive control method for a patrol robot. The patrol robot comprises a walking wheel and a pinch wheel. The walking wheel rolls on a wire to be inspected, and the pinch wheel is located below the wire and is used to press the wire on the walking wheel. The method comprises the following steps: (1) during an inspection process, the patrol robot detects in real time whether the walking wheel is slipping by means of comparing the angular velocities of the walking wheel and the pinch wheel, wherein during the detection of whether the walking wheel is slipping, the pinch wheel is in contact with the wire; (2) if no slippage is detected, then continuing to inspect, and if slippage is detected, then determining the degree of slippage according to a slippage model, wherein the degree of slippage is determined by means of the ratio between the angular velocities of the walking wheel and the pinch wheel; and (3) performing adaptive slippage control according to the degree of slippage. The control method of the present invention has the characteristics of relatively accurate control of the slippage state.

The AMT, initially guided by fixed guidance elements of the facility guidance system, can lift the pallet off the conveyor and transport it to a trailer entrance where the AMT switches from the facility guidance system to a trailer guidance system. The AMT can then carry the pallet to an unloading position, move the pallet to one side of the trailer as needed, unload the pallet and return to the pallet conveyor. The workflow procedure can repeat until the trailer is full.

Controlling movements of a robot running on tracks
A method and a controller for controlling movements of a robot from a start to a stop position, where the robot has pairs of wheels having drivers that are controlled by local controllers. Based on a current speed and an angular position of each wheel and a position of the robot relative to the frame structure, a master controller sets up individual speed driving sequences for the pair of wheels based on the current speed and angular position of each wheel, current global position of the robot, and the start and stop positions of the robot. The speed driving sequence is transmitted to the local controllers controlling the pair of wheels, thereby controlling acceleration and deceleration of each wheel via the individual drivers. The local controllers ensure that pairs of wheels are kept synchronised.
