INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
The information processing device acquires architecture model information including information representing communication paths for aggregating communication paths between ECU in a plurality of types of vehicles and data communication standards capable of transmitting and receiving data on respective communication paths, acquires variation information including information specifying necessary communication paths necessary for a particular vehicle and information specifying data necessary to be transmitted and received through a necessary communication path, generates a communication specification specifying a relationship between the necessary data and a communication path to which the necessary data should be transmitted based on the architecture model information and the variation information, and specifies a communication path for each necessary data, and specifies a communication path for each necessary data so as to satisfy a data communication standard defined for each necessary data when generating a communication specification.
MEMORY CONTROLLER AND MEMORY SYSTEM PERFORMING DATA SEARCH
In certain aspects, a memory system includes a volatile memory device and a memory controller operatively coupled to the volatile memory device. The volatile memory device is configured to store a logical-to-physical (L2P) mapping table. The memory controller is configured to maintain the L2P mapping table stored in the volatile memory device, such that the L2P mapping table maps a first set of logical addresses to identifiers (IDs) of memory blocks of a cache, respectively.
Performance impact information for adjusting rate of a data reconstruction operation
A method for execution by one or more computing devices of a storage network includes obtaining performance impact information regarding a data reconstruction operation associated with a computing device of the one or more computing devices, where the data reconstruction operation is regarding reconstructing data at a first reconstruction rate of a plurality of reconstruction rates, and where the performance impact information includes performance metrics of the storage network affected by the data reconstruction operation. The method further includes determining a second reconstruction rate of the plurality of reconstruction rates to utilize for the data reconstruction operation based on the performance impact information to achieve a first performance metric of the performance metrics. The method further includes executing the data reconstruction operation in accordance with the second reconstruction rate.
Memory mapping for memory, memory modules, and non-volatile memory
Apparatuses and methods related to commands to transfer data and/or perform logic operations are described. For example, a command that identifies a location of data and a target for transferring the data may be issued to a memory device. Or a command that identifies a location of data and one or more logic operations to be performed on that data may be issued to a memory device. A memory module may include different memory arrays (e.g., different technology types), and a command may identify data to be transferred between arrays or between controllers for the arrays. Commands may include targets for data expressed in or indicative of channels associated with the arrays, and data may be transferred between channels or between memory devices that share a channel, or both. Some commands may identify data, a target for the data, and a logic operation for the data.
Partial pass-through data transfer system
Methods and systems for performing a partial pass-through transfer are described. In an aspect, a method includes: receiving, from a first computing system, pass-through transfer definition data to be associated with a first logical storage area, the pass-through transfer definition data including a trigger condition for a pass-through transfer and an apportionment value for the pass-through transfer; storing a representation of the pass-through transfer definition data in association with the first logical storage area; detecting a first data transfer to the first logical storage area, the first data transfer representing a transfer of a resource; determining that the first data transfer satisfies the trigger condition; and in response to determining that the first data transfer satisfies the trigger condition: identifying a portion of the resource based on the apportionment value; and initiating a second data transfer.
Accessing metadata storage trees in a storage network
A method includes error encoding data to produce a plurality of data slices. Metadata is determined for a data slice of the plurality of data slices. The metadata is stored in a metadata storage tree. The data slice is stored in a slice storage location indicated by the metadata. Based on determining to access the data slice, the metadata for the data slice is accessed in the metadata storage tree to determine the slice storage location for the data slice, and the data slice is accessed in the slice storage location based on determining the slice storage location for the data slice via accessing the metadata storage tree.
Systems And Methods For Resource Lifecyle Management
Systems, methods, and machine-readable media for monitoring a storage system and correcting demand imbalances among nodes in a cluster are disclosed. A performance manager for the storage system may detect performance imbalances that occur over a period of time. When operating below an optimal performance capacity, the manager may cause a volume to be moved from a node with a high load to a node with a lower load to achieve a preventive result. When operating at or near optimal performance capacity, the manager may cause a QOS limit to be imposed to prevent the workload from exceeding the performance capacity, to achieve a proactive result. When operating abnormally, the manager may cause a QOS limit to be imposed to throttle the workload to bring the node back within the optimal performance capacity of the node, to achieve a reactive result. These actions may be performed independently, or in cooperation.
SECURE, DISTRIBUTED RAID STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for securely and remotely storing data in a remote, distributed redundant array of independent drives (RAID) is provided. RAID storage is accomplished through a series of mapped drives, non-routable Internet protocol (IP) addresses, and routable IP addresses. In addition, authorization to access a RAID controller, network address translation (NAT) system, and domain name system (DNS) system may all be separated, increasing security and allowing storage to be securely distributed among a variety of dispersed storage locations.
DATA PROTECTION WITH MULTIPLE SITE REPLICATION
Systems and methods for replicating data from a first site to a second site remote from said first site are described. An embodiment includes storing compressed data on a hard disk appliance, reading said data without decompressing said data, sending said data over a wide-area-network (WAN) in a compressed state, and storing said data on a second hard disk appliance remote from said first hard disk appliance in its compressed state without performing an additional compression operation.
Tape library emulation with automatic configuration and data retention
Disk based emulation of tape libraries is provided with features that allow easier management and administration of a backup system and also allow increased flexibility to both archive data on tape at a remote location and also have fast restore access to archived data files. Features include automatic emulation of physical libraries, and the retention and write protection of virtual tapes that correspond to exported physical tapes.
