A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing an information processing apparatus which communicates with a server system to execute a control method, wherein the control method includes acquiring print setting information of a first print instruction in a first format transmitted from the information processing apparatus to a printing apparatus without going through the server system, editing the acquired print setting information, and transmitting a second print instruction including the edited print setting information to the server system.

An image forming apparatus includes a controller and a memory interface having a plurality of ports each configured to receive a portable memory removably attached thereto. The controller performs a portable memory using process including storing data in a dedicated memory, which is a portable memory set as a storage destination to store the data in the portable memory using process when attached to a dedicated port, and performing a process using the data stored in the dedicated memory in response to an operation received via a user interface. The controller sets, prior to the portable memory using process, one of the plurality of ports as the dedicated port, and provides a notification when determining that a target portable memory is not the dedicated memory but the port to which the target portable memory has been attached is the dedicated port.

PRINT RELEASE TO IMAGING DEVICE FROM MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE
A system includes a spool directory accessible by a mobile computing device and an imaging device. A user selects for imaging on the imaging device a file accessible by the mobile computing device. The mobile computing device saves the file on the spool directory with a unique name. Upon the user accessing the imaging device for imaging, the imaging device generates a unique quick response code. The user captures the code with a camera of the mobile computing device and the code is used by the mobile computing device to rename the file on the spool directory. That the imaging device knows the quick response code, the imaging device accesses and prints the file on media for the user.

An example system may include a processor and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions executable by the processor to determine, during an imaging operation by an imaging component of a printing device, whether a print queue, supplied by the imaging component, will be depleted by a printing component of the printing device prior to a completion of the imaging operation; and adjust, based on the determination, a media feed rate of the printing component.

A USB host portion is supplied with power in a normal mode, and the power supply is stopped in a power saving mode. A control portion shifts to the normal mode when a notification signal is input to the signal input portion while operating in the power saving mode. The signal output portion outputs a second control signal in both the normal mode and the power saving mode. The voltage output portion outputs a rated voltage to the communication device when at least one of the first control signal and the second control signal is output.

The controller is configured to perform a storage printing process, prior to the storage printing process, set one of the plurality of ports as a dedicated port used in the storage printing process, when the second port is set as the dedicated port, determine whether the second port is in a notified status, and when determining that the second port is in the notified status, cause the user interface to display a notification screen.

When a font is substituted in execution of the print process performed by the office direct print function, a caution message screen and a preview screen are displayed on a display of the multifunction peripheral before the print process is executed.

The controller is configured to perform a storage printing process, prior to the storage printing process, set one of the plurality of ports as a dedicated port used in the storage printing process, when the second port is set as the dedicated port, determine whether the second port is in a notified status, and when determining that the second port is in the notified status, cause the user interface to display a notification screen.

An image forming apparatus includes a controller configured to perform a storage printing process that includes storing print data in a dedicated memory, which is a portable memory set as a storage destination to store the print data in the storage printing process when attached to a dedicated port among a plurality of ports, and causing a print engine to perform printing according to the print data stored in the dedicated memory in response to an operation received via a user interface, prior to the storage printing process, set one of the plurality of ports as the dedicated port, in response to a portable memory being attached to a port, determine whether the portable memory is the dedicated memory and the port is the dedicated port, and provide a notification when determining that the portable memory is not the dedicated memory but the port is the dedicated port.
