An image processing system includes an information processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus. A notarization system for use in notarizing a document, the system comprising: a handheld notarization device having a printer; and a notarization application configured to be accessible only by a primary user and to operate on a mobile device having a camera, the notarization application being programmed to digitally read identification information from an identification card of a secondary user received via the camera, such that to verify the identity of the secondary user and authenticate the identification card, digitally scan and generate a digital line drawing of a fingerprint of the secondary user received via the camera, digitally generate a notarization endorsement and cause a printing of the notarization endorsement onto a tamper-resistant sticker via the printer, wherein, when the notarization application is being accessed by the primary user, and upon signing of the document by the secondary user, the notarization application causes a printing of the notarization endorsement.

A terminal device may receive print condition related information being related to an actual print condition from a printer, and register, in a print intermediation server, by using the print condition related information, printer related information including actual print condition information indicating the actual print condition. The terminal device may control a display unit to display a selection screen by using the actual print condition information in a case where file related information related to a target file is to be registered in the print intermediation server after the printer related information was registered in the print intermediation server. The selection screen may cause a user to select a print setting from among the actual print condition. The terminal device may register the file related information and print setting information in association with the printer related information in the print intermediation server.

Systems and methods for securely generating and printing documents are disclosed. For example, processor(s) of a computer system may receive information for the document from a computing device through a network, verify the information for the document, and upon verification, generate document generation data using at least a portion of the information for the document. The document generation data may include document metadata that enables generation of an image of the document and/or the image of the document. Upon the processor(s) verifying first authentication information of a first code associated with a printing device received from the computing device through the network and second authentication information of a second code associated with the computing device received from the printing device through the network, the processor(s) may transmit the document generation data to the printing device through the network, and cause the printing device to print the image of the document.

A sheet processing apparatus for processing sheets each with a wireless tag, includes a roller, a wireless tag reader/writer, and a controller configured to control the roller to convey a first sheet with a first tag along a path, control the reader/writer to acquire first strengths of radio signals received from the first tag during the conveyance and second strengths of radio signals received from wireless tags of sheets not being conveyed, determine a threshold value of signal strength for distinguishing a wireless tag being conveyed from wireless tags not being conveyed based on the first and second strengths, and control the roller to convey a second sheet with a second tag and control the reader/writer to write to the second tag when a strength of a radio signal from the second tag is greater than or equal to the threshold value.

An output system includes circuitry to generate information on a character string in response to an authentication request including user identification information transmitted from an output apparatus. The circuitry further transmits the information on the character string to an information processing device. In response to receiving the information on the character string and the user identification information from the output apparatus that has received the information on the character string and the user identification information from the information processing device, the circuitry further performs authentication for a user identified by the user identification information, based on the information on the character string and the user identification information, and transmits an authentication result to the output apparatus.
