DEVICE FOR HANDLING A HELICOPTER STRETCHER
A device for handling a stretcher is suitable to be installed in a helicopter cockpit for displacing the stretcher between a patient transportation position, in which the stretcher is arranged horizontally and parallel to a longitudinal axis of the helicopter, and a patient loading and unloading position in which the stretcher is at least partially removed from the helicopter cockpit substantially transversely to the longitudinal axis, and vice-versa.
Power lift
A deployable gurney lift assembly 12 having a carriage assembly 14 composed of a carriage assembly plate 20 with two pivot carriage arms 38 disposed opposite one another to engage the sides of a gurney G, at least one safety bar holder 16 to accommodate a safety bar B of the gurney G, the safety bar holders 16 with at least one bar latch 18 to receive and secure a gurney bar B therein. At least one lift actuator 88 lifts and lowers the arms 38.
AMBULANCE COT AND LOADING AND UNLOADING SYSTEM
An ambulance cot and cot loading and unloading system for an emergency vehicle comprises a cot having a head end, a base for mounting to a deck of an emergency vehicle, a track mounted for linear movement along said base, and an arm mounted for linear movement along said track from a retracted position to an extended position. The arm is and configured to engage the cot, and wherein when the track is extended along the base and the arm is extended along the track the arm is extended from the base in an extended position and is configured for lifting the cot and providing cantilevered support to the cot while in the extended position.
Stretcher loading assembly
A stretcher loading assembly including a support member operatively attachable to an aircraft floor, an elongate rail member attached to the support member, an elongate traverse beam movably attached to the rail member, and a trolley assembly movably attached to the traverse beam, the trolley assembly including lifting means movable between a lowered position and a raised position, the lifting means adapted to support a stretcher in the raised position, wherein the support member is at least twice as wide as the rail member.
Extendable and retractable gurney
There is provided an extendable and retractable gurney mountable to a rescue vehicle and configured to receive and hold a rescue basket thereon. The gurney has a base for fixed mounting to a floor area of the rescue vehicle. The gurney has a rescue basket cradle that slides (relative to the base) outward from a stowed configuration on a rescue vehicle to an extended configuration to receive a rescue basket, and then moves back inward to a stowed configuration in the emergency vehicle. Rollers are arrayed along a side of a longitudinally extending slat to facilitate rolling contact with an underside of a rescue basket, when it is placed on the cradle, thereby allowing the basket to be readily moved into appropriate position on the cradle for securing it to, and immobilizing it on, the gurney.
SINGLE-OPERATOR MULTI-FUNCTION FOLDABLE TRANSPORTER
A system is disclosed including a transporter, having a top load bearing surface or bed, and four wheeled articulating legs, that may be operated by a single user/operator, and can be lowered or raised by changing the lengths or angles of its legs while maintaining the transporter bed level. The legs that may be folded up to be loaded onto or unloaded from a truck bed, or a stationary platform, by a single operator while carrying heavy load. The loading and unloading process is assisted by various safety brakes that prevent accidental slippage of the transporter off the truck bed. The legs' angles are changed using a dual-threaded lead screw. The transporter further includes two edge detectors on the front-end and the rear-end to detect the edge of the truck bed automatically, and prepare the folding of the transporter legs for loading onto the truck bed.
Medical vehicles, CT devices, and driving method
A vehicle includes a computed tomographic system (CT) including a CT gantry having an inner peripheral, and a subject window in a surface of the vehicle. The subject window is configured to be exposed to an exterior of the vehicle via a side face of the vehicle, such that the subject window is configured to enable a subject to enter or exit from the inner peripheral of the CT gantry in a body axis direction of the CT.
Patient Transport Apparatus Base with Trolley for Removable Litter
A patient support apparatus for patients. The patient support apparatus comprises a base having a base frame and an intermediate frame. The patient support further comprises a litter configured to be docked to and undocked from a trolley that is configured to slidably translate along the intermediate frame between a plurality of positions including a trolley forward position and a trolley docking position. The litter includes a lower pin and an upper pin. The trolley is configured to receive the upper pin and the lower pin and includes a lower pin stop and an upper pin stop. The lower pin is configured to abut the lower pin stop and the upper pin is configured to abut the upper pin stop to dock the litter to the base.
Patient Transport Apparatus with Articulable Powered Litter
A patient transport apparatus for patients. The patient transport apparatus comprises a base having a base frame and an intermediate frame. The patient support further comprises a litter configured to be docked to and undocked from a trolley that is configured to slidably translate along the intermediate frame between a plurality of positions including a trolley forward position and a trolley docking position. The litter is configured to be supported by the base in a cantilevered position when the trolley is in the trolley docking position. The base includes and auxiliary guide and the litter includes an auxiliary roller assembly configured to engage the auxiliary guide to provide an auxiliary point of contact to support the litter when the litter is docked to the trolley.
Patient Support Systems With Power Transfer Architecture
A patient transport apparatus including a base frame, an intermediate frame to provide support to a patient, an apparatus energy storage unit, an apparatus user interface, and an apparatus controller. The patient transport apparatus also includes a powered device having a module to perform a powered function, a device energy storage unit, a device user interface, a device interface adapted to cooperate with the apparatus interface to facilitate power transfer from the apparatus energy storage unit to the device energy storage unit, and a device controller. The device controller includes a power module configured to determine a charging level for the device energy storage unit based on a current state of the apparatus energy storage unit, and to draw power from the apparatus energy storage unit via the apparatus interface and across the device interface to charge the device energy storage unit at the charging level.
