LINGUISTIC MODEL SELECTION FOR ADAPTIVE AUTOMATIC SPEECH RECOGNITION

The present disclosure describes dynamically adjusting linguistic models for automatic speech recognition based on biometric information to produce a more reliable speech recognition experience. Embodiments include receiving a speech signal, receiving a biometric signal from a biometric sensor implemented at least partially in hardware, determining a linguistic model based on the biometric signal, and processing the speech signal for speech recognition using the linguistic model based on the biometric signal.

Auto-adjusting display time of slides based on content intelligence

Systems and methods are directed to auto-adjusting play time of slides based on content intelligence. The system accesses media comprising a plurality of media items, wherein a media item of the plurality of media items comprises a first content type. The system performs machine analysis associated with the first content type. Based on the machine analysis, the system determines a first display time for the first content type and derives a total display time for the media item based on the first display time. If the media item includes a second content type, then the system performs machine analysis associated with the second content type and determines a second display time for the second content type. The total display time now comprises an aggregation of the first and second display times. The system can cause a machine action based on the total display time.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTENT TARGETING USING EMOTIONAL CONTEXT INFORMATION
20170351768 · 2017-12-07 · ·

This disclosure relates to systems and methods that use contextual information relating to a user's emotions and/or moods in connection with information targeting and content tagging. In some embodiments, user moods and/or emotional states may be determined and/or otherwise inferred using certain contextual information collected using one or more sensors included in devices associated with a user. Obtaining information relating to a user's mood and/or emotional state may allow for, among other things, more efficient targeting of content, search results, and/or other information that is well matched to a user's interests at a given point in time. In further embodiments, information relating to a user's mood and/or emotional state may be used to tag and/or otherwise associate content with information relating to the user's mood and/or emotional state while viewing and/or capturing the content.

System and method for customized user content

Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for how to select, suggest, and modify content, which is relevant to the user, on a user interface. The system does this by combining physiological data, location data, and historical data to create a multi-dimensional user state of the user, where at least one dimension is time. The system also identifies available content, ranks the available content based on the multi-dimensional user state, and transmits a user interface a suggestion for a top-ranked item within the ranked list of available content.

IMPLICITLY TRUSTED TRAVEL TOKEN AUTHENTICATION
20170329777 · 2017-11-16 · ·

Embodiments of the invention(s) described herein enable a system that may rely on a biometric identifier entry validation system The validation system uses biometric methods such as facial recognition, palm veins, and thumb prints as an entry or passage token. The validation system associates a form of fare media such as a smartcard or other electronic payment method with the biometric identifier after repeated transactions where both the fare media and the biometric identifier are read. In this manner the biometric identifier becomes a biometric token that replaces the need to use a form of fare media. Accordingly, the biometric identifier user can be validated for passage without the need to carry a form of fare media and, in some cases, in different geographic locations.

STATE CONTROL APPARATUS, STATE CONTROL METHOD, AND STATE CONTROL SYSTEM

A state control apparatus including: an acquiring unit configured to acquire a state index indicating a state of target feeling based on biological information corresponding to the target feeling which is feeling of a target to be guided, the biological information being detected from a guide target whose state of feeling is to be guided; and a state control unit configured to determine a feeling guiding medium to be used for guiding the state of the target feeling based on the acquired state index and pattern information which is associated with the feeling guiding medium for guiding the state of the target feeling and which indicates a pattern of temporal change of the state index so that the state of the target feeling becomes a predetermined set state, and control the state of the target feeling of the guide target by performing processing relating to the determined feeling guiding medium. The biological information includes information indicating a detection result of an enzyme.

USER GAZE DETECTION

Examples disclosed herein relate to user gaze detection. In one aspect, a method is disclosed. The method may include detecting a user gaze directed at a region within a content displayed on a display, increasing a level of interest associated with the region, and based at least on the level of interest, determining whether to render the region. The method may also include, responsive to a rendering command, providing the region for rendering based on a determination to render the region, and not providing the region for rendering based on a determination not to render the region.

METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR IMPLEMENTING IMAGE SEQUENCING
20170300514 · 2017-10-19 ·

Disclosed are a method and a terminal for implementing image sequencing. The method includes: analysing an eye feature of a user when the user reviews images, so as to obtain and record duration for which the user reviews each of the images; and performing sequencing on the images according to the recorded duration for which the user reviews each of the images. The technical solution of the disclosure analyses the eye feature of the user when reviewing images, obtains the durations for which the user reviews the images, and performs sequencing on images of interest to the user by means of the durations so as to enable the images of interest to the user to be ranked higher, thereby increasing the efficiency by which a user reviews images, and improving user experience.

Systems and methods for using imagined directions to define an action, function or execution for non-tactile devices
