Memory retention system

The present disclosure generally relates to a computer-implemented system for intelligently retaining and recalling memory data. An exemplary method comprises receiving, via a microphone of an electronic device, a speech input of the user; receiving a text input of the user; constructing a first instance of a memory data structure based on the speech input; constructing a second instance of the memory data structure based on the text input; adding the first instance and the second instance of the memory data structure to a memory stack of the user; displaying a user interface for retrieving memory data of the user; receiving, via the user interface, a beginning of a statement from the user; retrieving a particular instance of the memory data structure from the memory stack based on the beginning of the statement; and automatically displaying a completion of the statement.

A system and method is provided for using biometric data from an individual to determine at least one emotion, mood, physical state, or mental state (“state”) of the individual, which is then used, either alone or together with other data, to provide the individual with certain web-based data. In one embodiment of the present invention, a Web host is in communication with at least one network device, where each network device is operated by an individual and is configured to communicate biometric data of the individual to the Web host. The Web host is then configured to use the biometric data to determine at least one state of the individual. The determined state, either alone or together with other data (e.g., interest data), is then used to provide the individual with certain content (e.g., web-based data) or to perform a particular action.

DATA CONTROL USING DIGITAL FINGERPRINTS

A method, system and software for control of data, particularly although not exclusively personal data, through the use of digital fingerprints enables a person to “opt in” to a system containing data about him and secure that data by a biologically-based digital fingerprint (such as of his hand or face). In another case, a user may be automatically (involuntarily) inducted into a system. Either way, the present disclosure enables a user to opt out of the system, again using his digital fingerprint. Upon execution of an opt out process, his digital fingerprint is removed from the system, along with any data solely pertaining to that user.

Content marshaling using biometric data

Methods, systems, and computer program products for content marshaling using biometric data are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes estimating a cognitive state of a user based at least in part on analyzing one or more sets of biometric data pertaining to the user; dynamically compiling multi-modal content for the user based at least in part on (i) the estimated cognitive state of the user, (ii) one or more user parameters, and (iii) content availability information; and outputting the compiled content to the user via one or more devices.

Carousel interface for post-capture processing in a messaging system

The subject technology retrieves, by a client device from a storage device, first image data previously captured by the client device. The subject technology selects a set of media overlays, each respective media overlay including a category indicator and the set of media overlays is selected based on matching of the category indicator among respective media overlays from the set of media overlays. The subject technology causes display of a carousel interface comprising a plurality of selectable graphical items, each selectable graphical item corresponding to a respective media overlay of the set of media overlays. The subject technology receives a selection of a first selectable graphical item from the plurality of selectable graphical items. The subject technology applies, to the first image data, a first media overlay corresponding to the selected first selectable graphical item.

A user permission allocation method includes acquiring currently collected facial feature information of a user; determining a difference degree of the current facial feature information of the user according to the acquired facial feature information of the user and facial feature information included in stored standard sample information; and allocating a user permission to the user according to the determined difference degree. Compared with a manner of using a fixed face threshold, a difference degree of current facial feature information of the user is determined, and when a user permission is allocated to the user, an external factor that affects the collected facial feature information is used as a reference factor.

The subject technology receives image data including a representation of a face of a user. The subject technology analyzes the image data to determine a set of characteristics of the representation of the face. The subject technology, based at least in part on the determined set of characteristics, selects a particular product and a set of media content associated with the particular product. The subject technology causes display, at a client device, at least one recommendation corresponding to the set of media content associated with the particular product.

Rapid cross-validated ground truth annotation of large image datasets for image analytics

Annotation of large image datasets is provided. In various embodiments, a plurality of medical images is received. At least one collection is formed containing a subset of the plurality of medical images. One or more image from the at least one collection is provided to each of a plurality of remote users. An annotation template is provided to each of the plurality of remote users. Annotations for the one or more image are received from each of the plurality of remote users. The annotations and the plurality of medical images are stored together.
