QR CODE INITIATED CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A method and computer platform may administer a content management system for product templates with no specific programing code required for the retailer computer device to update a product template associated with the retailer. A URL can be associated with the updated template. When a request to access the URL is received from a mobile device, the URL or the updated template can be displayed to the mobile device, wherein the request is generated by the mobile device via scan of a QR code on a package.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURE CODE SCANNING
Graphical codes, such as Quick Response (QR) codes, are commonly used for convenient acquisition by a mobile device of a text string (e.g., a Uniform Resource Locator identifying a website) or other data word. Such an acquisition, however, may be a relatively low-security operation because of the relative ease with which such graphical codes may be produced. As such, a system and method for secure code scanning and verification are provided.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A second management server includes: a reception unit configured to receive a request of notification information, which includes identification information identifying the communication apparatus, from the first management server; a generation unit configured to generate a URL for service registration, which includes the identification information, in a case where the request is received; a transmission unit configured to transmit reply information, which includes the generated URL, to the first management server as a response to the request; and a second transmission unit configured to transmit a request of registration with the service, which is based on the identification information, to the service provider server in response to an access to the URL.
Encoded image based messaging system
A system to provide users with a means for accessing media content directly, by performing operations that include: causing display of a media item within a graphical user interface at a client device, the graphical user interface including a set of graphical elements; receiving a selection of a graphical element from among the set of graphical elements within the graphical user interface; generating a reference to the media item based on the selection of the graphical element; encoding a matrix barcode with the reference to the media item; and generating a presentation of the media item that includes a display of the matrix barcode at a position within the media item.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ENCODING URI FOR ARBITRARY PAYLOAD DATA BASED ON ALPHANUMERIC ENCODING METHODS
Computer-implemented methods and systems for efficient alphanumeric encoding for arbitrary payload data are disclosed. The computer-implemented method, performed by a server system, includes accessing URI-oriented payload data. The method further includes converting the URI-oriented payload data into an alphanumeric data type based, at least in part, on an alphanumeric encoding method. The alphanumeric encoding method may be one of BASE36, BASE37, BASE38-QR-URI-UNRESERVED, BASE42, BASE45, Base64, Base66, Base183, and Base191. The method further includes generating a machine-readable code based, at least in part, on the converted URI-oriented payload data.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR USING ENHANCED QR CODES IN A CALL TO ACTION
A system and method for using enhanced QR codes in a call to action, that provides enhanced functionality for generating a call to action element or providing personalized content when scanned, and that combine additional data dimensions with existing QR code technologies to expand the QR code capability beyond what is enabled by standard QR code specifications.
Method and system for tracking containers
A method for tracking containers. The method includes manufacturing containers, including forming the containers and serializing them with machine-readable codes. The method further includes using the machine-readable codes to store data associated with the containers, and supplying the containers to a customer. The method still further comprises receiving from the customer, data obtained from customer-readings of the machine-readable codes; and receiving from one or more other locations in a distribution chain in which the containers travel, data obtained from readings of the machine-readable codes at those locations. The method still further comprises comparing the data from the customer-readings and other readings of the machine-readable codes across product brands, product distribution channels, and/or container types, and providing the data to the customer. In at least some embodiments, the method further comprises receiving from the customer a compensation for the containers, for example, a per-refill compensation.
CONTACTLESS CARD FOR MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS, MULTIMEDIA FILE CONFIGURATION AND MULTIMEDIA FILE PLAYBACK
A device with an identifier is described. The identifier includes a complete link for access to a digital playback platform of a multimedia file. The identifier is a readable identifier including a near-field communication (NFC) transceiver module, a QR code, or a barcode. Multimedia file configuration and multimedia file playback methods and systems on the digital playback platform are also described.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ACCESS CONTROL
A method of requesting access through a door may involve: causing a mobile computing device to receive an identifier of the door; and causing the mobile computing device to transmit an access request to an access-control system, the access request comprising data representing at least the identifier of the door and an access code. A method of controlling access through a door may involve: receiving an access request from a mobile computing device, the access request comprising data representing at least an identifier of the door and an access code; and in response to the request, allowing access through the door. Systems are also disclosed.
ONLINE SOFTWARE PLATFORM (OSP) DERIVING RESOURCES, PRODUCING REPORT DOCUMENT ABOUT THEM, AND CREATING GALLERY WITH DATA SUBSTANTIATING THE REPORT DOCUMENT FOR VIEWING BY THIRD PARTY
In embodiments, an Online Software Platform (OSP) is configured to receive datasets having dataset values that represent relationship instance data of relationship instances between a client primary entity and other secondary entities, select digital rules responsive to these dataset values, produce resources for the datasets by applying the selected digital rules to the dataset values, derive a total value of the produced resources, generate a report document that mentions at least derived the total value, and prepare an instantiation that enables viewing a data record that substantiates the derived total value. The OSP may further make this instantiation available for viewing to a domain entity that has access to the report document and wants to confirm the derived total value. For instance, the OSP may provide an access instruction for viewing the instantiation, or even augment the report document itself with such an access instruction.
