Data writing device and processing method
A data writing device includes a reader and a processor. The reader receives a radio wave from a wireless tag for storing a first identifier and a second identifier and measures a radio wave intensity of the radio wave received from the wireless tag. The processor determines the radio wave intensities of the radio waves received from the plurality of wireless tags by acquiring the first identifiers from the plurality of wireless tags through the reader, and determines the radio wave intensities of the radio waves received from the plurality of wireless tags. A reading threshold is set between a strongest radio wave intensity and a next strongest radio wave intensity among the radio wave intensities, and the second identifiers are acquired from the wireless tags having the radio wave intensities exceeding the set reading threshold through the reader.
Multiple RFID transponders on a single inlay
A Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) inlay, the inlay comprising: a first RFID transponder with a first antenna, based on a first RFID protocol; a second RFID transponder with a second antenna, based on a second RFID protocol; and a conductive isolation structure; wherein the conductive isolation structure is arranged and configured such that the conductive isolation structure reduces a mutual coupling between the two closely spaced antennas, first antenna and the second antenna, and therefore enhancing the read range performance of both RFID transponders.
User-filtered RFID inventory
RFID-tagged items can be filtered based on relevance estimation or user input. A device reads digital identifiers for multiple RFID-tagged items. The device estimates and selects an item that an individual desires based on one or more metrics, then presents data about the selected item to the individual. If the device receives feedback that the selected item is not the desired item, then the device may estimate and select another item and/or present information about multiple items to allow the individual to select the desired item. When the desired item is selected, the device may perform some associated action.
WIRELESS MONITORING AND PROFILING OF REACTOR CONDITIONS USING PLURALITY OF SENSOR-ENABLED RFID TAGS HAVING KNOWN LOCATIONS
Disclosed is a system and method for wirelessly monitoring 5 process conditions within a reactor vessel. A plurality of sensor-enabled radio frequency identification (RFID) tags are disposed at known locations throughout a catalyst bed of a vessel and are used to measure various conditions within the vessel. The sensor-enabled RFID tags are encoded with individual identification codes and are wirelessly linked to a transceiver. A transceiver 10 provides for the interrogation of each sensor-enabled RFID tag to receive responsive transponder signals that carry information representative of both the three-dimensional location of the sensor-enabled RFID tags and the sensed conditions within the reactor. This allows for three-dimensional profiling of the specifically measured condition within the reactor.
Intelligent tracking system and methods and systems therefor
An intelligent tracking system generally includes one or more tracking devices, some of which may be passive tracking devices. Each passive tracking device includes one or more transceivers and is energized by an energizing signal. Some of these passive tracking devices may operate in a first communication mode or a second communication mode based on the energizing signal. Some tracking devices may include encryption modules or authentication modules. Some of these devices may incorporate a bulk acoustic wave oscillator.
Reading device and method
A reading device includes a placing table supporting an article to which an RFID tag is attached. An antenna is configured to emit a radio wave for communicating with the RFID tag toward the placing table. A reading unit is configured to read tag information including a tag identifier identifying the RFID tag by communicating with the RFID tag via the antenna while the placing table and the antenna are integrally moved. An extracting unit is configured to extract a tag identifier in which an amount of change in phase information is a predetermined value or less, based on the phase information of a response wave obtained from the RFID tag when the tag information is read. An outputting unit is configured to output the tag information including the tag identifier extracted by the extracting unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STOCK PICKING USING RFID TAGS
A system and method for hands-free stock picking using radio frequency identification (RFID) includes a fixed RFID reader configured to interrogate RFID tags associated with inventory that is disposed on shelving, and an RFID barrier that is configured to substantially inhibit interrogation of RFID tags associated with active inventory on the shelving. The RFID reader receives responses from the replenishment inventory on the shelving which are tabulated. When an item is picked from the active inventory and moved away from the RFID barrier, the RFID reader receives an increased number of responses for that item compared to the tabulated inventory. The system then associates the picked item with the associated customer order.
ARTICLE PROCESSING METHOD, TERMINAL, SYSTEM AND LPWAN GATEWAY
A control unit of the article processing terminal controls a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader of the article processing terminal to periodically scan a plurality of short-range articles. In response to a status change of an article of the plurality of short-range articles, the control unit receives an article identifier of the article from the RFID reader. The control unit controls a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) module of the article processing terminal to send an article change message to a LPWAN gateway, where the article change message includes the article identifier and an address of an application server, and where the LPWAN gateway instructs, based on the article change message and the address, the application server to perform a next processing step on the article identified by the article identifier.
