Reading device and method
A reading device includes a placing table supporting an article to which an RFID tag is attached. An antenna is configured to emit a radio wave for communicating with the RFID tag toward the placing table. A reading unit is configured to read tag information including a tag identifier identifying the RFID tag by communicating with the RFID tag via the antenna while the placing table and the antenna are integrally moved. An extracting unit is configured to extract a tag identifier in which an amount of change in phase information is a predetermined value or less, based on the phase information of a response wave obtained from the RFID tag when the tag information is read. An outputting unit is configured to output the tag information including the tag identifier extracted by the extracting unit.
SEMICONDUCTOR PROCESS SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system includes a first mask, a second mask and a mask container. The first mask includes a first identification code and a second identification code. The second mask includes a third identification code and a fourth identification code. The mask container is configured to store the first mask and the second mask. The first identification code is different from the third identification code. In response to a pattern, for performing a photolithography process, on the first mask, that is different from a pattern on the second mask, the second identification code is different from the fourth identification code. In response to the pattern on the first mask being the same as the pattern on the second mask, the second identification code is the same as the fourth identification code.
Visual tag emerging pattern detection
Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for identifying emerging viewing patterns for visual media such as still images and videos. Emerging viewing patterns are identified by identifying visual tags for visual media viewed by users, selecting a subset of the tags by applying a taxonomy-based filter, generating pattern candidates from the subset, evaluating consumption metrics for each of the generated patterns, and ranking the generated pattern candidates responsive to the consumption metrics to identify emerging viewing patterns for the users.

Semiconductor process system and method
A system includes a plurality of masks and a scanner device. A pattern of a semiconductor device is defined by each of the plurality of masks in a photolithography process. A first mask of the plurality of masks includes a first identification code configured to distinguish the first mask from remaining masks of the plurality of masks. The scanner device is configured to read the first identification code to select the first mask from the plurality of mask, in order to form the pattern of the semiconductor device on a substrate according to the first mask.
System and method for stock picking using RFID tags
A system and method for hands-free stock picking using radio frequency identification (“RFID”) includes a fixed RFID reader configured to interrogate RFID tags associated with inventory that is disposed on shelving, and an RFID barrier that is configured to substantially inhibit interrogation of RFID tags associated with active inventory on the shelving. The RFID reader receives responses from the replenishment inventory on the shelving which are tabulated. When an item is picked from the active inventory and moved away from the RFID barrier, the RFID reader receives an increased number of responses for that item compared to the tabulated inventory. The system then associates the picked item with the associated customer order.
TAG MEASUREMENT ENVIRONMENT EVALUATION DEVICE
A tag measurement environment evaluation device includes a processor and a memory storing a program. The program is configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to determine a moving tag evaluation value of each of a plurality of wireless tags based on a radio wave transmitted from each of the wireless tags and received by a tag reader configured to communicate with each of the wireless tags, and determine whether a measurement environment is suitable for a moving tag detection based on the moving tag evaluation values.
ITEM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, ITEM MANAGEMENT METHOD, READING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
An item management system for managing item data that indicates an entity to which an item belongs among a plurality of entities comprising: a first wireless device installed at a first position; a second wireless device that moves together with the item; at least one reading apparatus that reads identification information stored in a wireless device; and a management unit configured to manage the item data. In a state where the item data indicates that the item belongs to a second entity related to a second position, the management unit is configured to update the item data such that the item data indicates that the item belongs to a first entity related to the first position provided that a first reading apparatus has read identification information of the first and second wireless devices.
Operating method of electronic device performing near field communication functions
An electronic device performs near field communication (NFC) functions. An operating method of the electronic device includes detecting an attachment of a first NFC tag which uses a first radio frequency signal type (RF signal type), checking whether to exclude the first NFC tag from a recognition of the NFC device in response to the attachment of the first NFC tag, and when the first NFC tag is excluded from the recognition of the NFC device, setting based on the checking a radio frequency signal type of the electronic device so as not to respond to a radio frequency signal of the first radio frequency signal type.
Real-Time Detection and Location Of Illegitimate Communication Tags
A system for identifying an illegitimate communication tag can include a first communication tag that transmits first communication signals, where the first communication signals include a first identification of the first communication tag. The system can also include a second communication tag that transmits second communication signals, where the second communication signals include the first identification. The system can further include electrical devices having receivers that receive the first communication signals and the second communication signals. The system can also include a controller communicably coupled to the electrical devices, where the controller analyzes the first communication signals to generate first information. The controller also updates a table using the first information and analyzes the second communication signals to generate second information. The controller further determines that the second communication tag is illegitimate based on at least one difference between the second information relative to the first information.
