ANTENNA DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An antenna device includes an insulating substrate, a coil antenna including a helically wound coil conductor and at least two mounting electrodes conducted to the coil conductor, and a wiring conductor disposed on the substrate and including connection portions connected to the mounting electrodes of the coil antenna. The wiring conductor includes a first wiring conductor parallel extending portion and a second wiring conductor parallel extending portion, and directions of currents flowing through the first wiring conductor parallel extending portion and the second wiring conductor parallel extending portion are opposite to each other with respect to a direction of a current flowing through the coil conductor.
SYSTEM FOR TRACKING ITEMS STORED IN A SAFE
A radio-frequency identification (“RFID”) system for tracking items stored in a safe. The RFID safe system may include at least a safe and an RFID system. An RFID antenna may be fixed inside the safe. For example, the RFID antenna may fixed on an inner surface of a door to the safe such that the RFID antenna sends and receives signals across multiple angles as the safe door opens and closes.
System and method for communication between RFID interrogators
One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for efficiently interconnecting RFID interrogator elements. Each interrogator element is configured to function as both an RFID interrogator and an RFID tag. The RFID interrogator function enables one interrogator element to perform a read or write data operation to a second interrogator element functioning as an RFID tag. Two-way communications between interrogator elements is facilitated by read and write operations. A data backhaul network may be advantageously implemented as a wireless mesh network, comprising a plurality of interrogator elements, to transmit data from each interrogator element to a server for processing.
Chip card reading arrangement
A chip card reading arrangement is provided including a chip card reading device including a data processing circuit and a reader antenna coupled to the data processing circuit arranged at a surface of the chip card reading device for placing a chip card to communicate with the chip card reading device via the reader antenna. The data processing circuit is configured to process at least one of signals received via the reader antenna and signals to be transmitted via the reader antenna. The chip card reading arrangement further includes an antenna structure including an antenna body, a first antenna and a second antenna coupled to the first antenna and surrounded by the first antenna. The antenna structure is arranged on and fixed to the surface of the chip card reading device such that the reader antenna surrounds the second antenna.
Container inventory supply system and method
A system and method for the supply of a medical storage container that has a required inventory of medical articles. An enclosure is used to isolate, scan, and inventory a tray or other container of medical articles. The container and each of the medical articles stored in the container having a wireless identification device. A probe injects activation energy and receives identification data in the enclosure. A program compares the scanned identification of the tray and the inventory of the tray to the required inventory list for the tray and indicates any differences. Extra articles and expired and recalled articles are identified. Text and graphical data displays of inventory are provided. Selectable periods for expiration of medical articles are also provided.
Method and device for locating an RFID transponder and RFID system
A method for locating an RFID transponder is proposed. The method comprises generating a plurality of measurement signals based on a magnetic field measured by a plurality of sensors. The method further comprises determining a respective degree of correlation for each of the plurality of measurement signals with a reference signal. The reference signal is based on a data sequence assigned to the RFID transponder. In addition, the method comprises determining a position of the RFID transponder based on the degrees of correlation of the plurality of measurement signals.
MOBILE WIRELESS ANTENNA SYSTEM FOR RFID APPLICATION
The present invention provides a mobile wireless antenna system, including: a RFID reader module and a mobile vehicle. The RFID reader module is connected to a first antenna. The mobile vehicle includes a second antenna and a third antenna. The second antenna is connected to the third antenna via a coaxial cable, and the mobile vehicle carries multiple objects that are equipped with RFID tags. As the mobile vehicle moves pass the RFID reader module, a first radio frequency signal is transmitted to the mobile vehicle from the RFID reader module via the first antenna. The mobile vehicle then receives the first radio frequency signal with the second antenna and transmits the first radio frequency signal to the third antenna via the coaxial cable. The first radio frequency signal is transmitted to the RFID tags on the objects from the mobile vehicle via the third antenna.
Locker and locker system
A locker for receiving and retaining one or more packages includes an enclosure, the enclosure defining a storage cavity, the storage cavity configured to receive and retain the one or more goods, a radio signal sensing assembly disposed on the enclosure for sensing radio signals, the radio signal sensing assembly disposed on the enclosure in an orientation such that the radio signal sensing assembly can detect the presence of radio signals within the storage cavity.
Commodity sales data processing apparatus with multiple tag readers
A commodity sales data processing apparatus includes a registration unit a first antenna positioned to read information from a wireless tag in a first region in which an article is to be placed for registration in a sales transaction. A first tag reader sends article information read from the wireless tag in the first region to the registration unit. A second antenna is positioned to read information from the wireless tag a second region. A second tag reader is connected to second antenna and configured to send article information read from the wireless tag to the registration unit to register the article in the sale transaction, if not already registered, and transmit a sale finished command to the wireless tag when the article has already been registered in the transaction.
Vehicle detection system using RFID tags
A fuel dispensing installation employs multiple fuel islands with fuel dispensers and multiple fuel/travel lanes. The installation employs a communication/controller system for automatically identifying a vehicle, and upon authorizing the vehicle, allowing fuel to be dispensed to said vehicle, determining the quantity of fuel dispensed to the vehicle and securing the dispenser when the vehicle leaves a detection zone. The detection system employs RFID tags placed at both the driver side and the passenger side of the vehicle. Generally oppositely oriented antennas define a detection zone for each of the lanes. A light indicates whether the vehicle is authorized for receiving fuel.
