Component ordering system
A component ordering system that is efficient in component ordering work is provided, in which component ordering information read from a Kanban is transmitted to a server so that the server transmits the component ordering information to a component supplier. A bar-code reading device determines whether the component ordering information is registered in the server based on reply information transmitted from a server in response to information transmitted to the server after the Kanban is inserted into a Kanban insertion slot. When it is determined that the component ordering information is not registered in the server, the bar-code reading device notifies that the component ordering information is not registered while holding the Kanban without discharging it to the Kanban receiving part. Thus, it is possible to maintain reliability in component order as well as to improve efficiency in component ordering work.
System providing self-service access to locked merchandise
A system providing self-service access to locked merchandise comprising: (a) providing a fixture that restricts access to the locked merchandise, wherein the fixture can automatically lock or unlock, allowing or restricting access to the locked merchandise; (b) providing a means of uniquely identifying an individual attempting to access the merchandise; (c) measuring a set of behaviors of the individual during any time the fixture is an open mode; (d) assessing whether the set of behaviors of the individual are suspicious or not relative to a set of suspicious event thresholds; (e) storing the individual and their set of behaviors as accessible records in at least one database; and (f) providing an algorithm which determines future access privileges of the individual to the enclosure based on a set of variables.
INSPECTION SYSTEM, INSPECTING DEVICE, AND GAMING CHIP
An inspection system of a chip includes a reading device and a determining unit. The reading device is configured to count a number of chips stored in a storage case, the chips associated with a table game and including a chip having a radio tag, read the radio tag while the chips are stored in the storage case, and acquire chip information. The determining unit is configured to compare the chip information of the chips in the storage case with a physical number of the chips in the storage case, determine that there is an abnormal chips among the chips stored in the storage case based on a determination that the counted number of the chips does not match a physical number of the chips in the storage case, and output a result associated with an indication of the abnormal chip.
Wireless devices for storing a financial account card and methods for storing card data in a wireless device
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores instructions causing a processor to generate a menu displaying representations of a plurality of cards, the cards having associated card data; receive, from a user input device, a selection corresponding to a selected one of the cards; update the menu to display a representation of the selection; and authorize transmission of the card data associated with the selected card to complete a transaction.
Self-service modular drop safes
Novel modular smart management devices in the form of drop safes include the modular components of a chassis, door and technology cabinet. The drop safes enable retailers to make cash deposits quickly and safely within or near their own facilities. Various technology, including RFID readers, RFID tags, and other equipment allow the drop safes to identify each deposited bag. Employees utilize specialized apps on their mobile devices to facilitate deposit creation and other tasks. Novel methodologies for accessing the drop safes for emptying employ single-use, time-expiration type authorization codes along with other security measures to minimize risk and to provide other benefits. Novel structures along with methodologies for replacing, on-site, modular components with auto-detection of functionality during initialization and re-initialization enables for efficient replacement and upgrading of components, including the upgrading of safes to provide additional functionality.
Systems and method for enabling selective use of illumination color to capture appropriate data
A bioptic barcode reader is disclosed for selective use of illumination color to capture appropriate data. The bioptic barcode reader includes a housing and a primary imager positioned within the housing, configured to scan a target object during a first time period. The bioptic barcode reader further includes a primary illumination source positioned within the housing configured to emit primary illumination in a primary wavelength range during the first time period. The bioptic barcode reader further includes a secondary imager configured to capture one or more images of a target object during a second time period. The bioptic barcode reader further includes a secondary illumination source configured to emit secondary illumination in a secondary wavelength range during the second time period, wherein the second time period and first time period are interleaved and the secondary wavelength range is different from the primary wavelength range.
Health and safety compliance system, methods, and products
A health and safety compliance system includes processor(s), where the processor(s) are communicatively coupled to a user interface. The user interface includes a display screen, where the display screen is capable of displaying electronic image(s) and is communicatively coupled to the processor(s). The system also includes (i) a sensor unit that is communicatively coupled to the processor(s) and is capable of detecting motion of a user, (ii) a liquid dispensing unit that is communicatively coupled to the processor(s), and (iii) a temperature detection unit that is communicatively coupled to the processor(s).
STORE MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, STORE MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A store management apparatus (100) includes: a determination unit (102) that determines whether a predetermined reference is satisfied in a store; a mode switching unit (104) that switches, by using a determination result by the determination unit (102), an operation mode of the store between an attended mode in which at least a salesclerk is permanently stationed and an unattended mode in which the salesclerk is not permanently stationed; and a setting unit (106) that switches a store-entry condition to the store according to the operation mode after switching when the mode switching unit (104) switches the operation mode, wherein the predetermined reference is absence of a customer near an entrance of the store at a reference time.
Inspection system and management system
When an unfair gaming currency is delivered to a dealer from a player, the currency is detected as unfair. The inspection system for inspecting the gaming currency, in which an RF tag is built, comprises: a gaming currency tray for housing the gaming currencies of the dealer in a casino game; an RF reader for reading the RF tags of the plural gaming currencies housed in the gaming currency tray; plural photosensors for detecting at least the number of the plural gaming currencies housed in the gaming currency tray at a constant time interval or always in a method other than RFID; and an inspection/alarm part for generating alarms when the number of the gaming currencies whose RF tags are read by the RF reader is not equal to the number of the gaming currencies detected by the plural photosensors.
