INSPECTION SYSTEM, INSPECTING DEVICE, AND GAMING CHIP
20230108508 · 2023-04-06 ·

An inspection system inspects gaming chips each having a color or a display indicating a value on an outer surface in a state where the gaming chips are stored in a case in which a maximum of the number of gaming chips to be stored is limited, and a radio tag storing gaming chip information is embedded in each of the gaming chips. The gaming chips are stored in the case capable of containing a row of gaming chips stacked in a thickness direction, and the inspection system includes a reading device that reads the radio tag of the gaming chip in the case and acquires gaming chip information of the gaming chip and a determining unit that compares the gaming chip information with a maximum of the number of gaming chips storable in the case and determines an abnormality of the gaming chip in the case when the number of gaming chips obtained from the gaming chip information is different from a maximum of the number of storable gaming chips.

FILTERING CROSS READS AMONG RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION (RFID) ENABLED READERS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE THEREOF
20230104115 · 2023-04-06 ·

Radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled readers and systems and methods for filtering cross reads of RFID tags and use thereof. The systems and methods may be configured to operate with mobile and/or fixed RFID readers. The systems and methods may provide for claim based filtering of cross reads based upon adjusting operating powers of RFID readers and/or antenna. The systems and methods may also be configured to apply weights to claims thereby providing efficient and/or accurate filtering of cross reads. The systems and methods may also provide for a database that may also be presented to a user to illustrate locations of inventory at any point in time or over a period of time, or to facilitate the ability of a user to physically locate inventory to be acted upon.

DYNAMIC MONITORING SYSTEM WITH RADIO-FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION
20220318586 · 2022-10-06 ·

A dynamic monitoring system with radio-frequency identification includes a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag, at least two radio-frequency identification (RFID) detectors and a processing device. The RFID tag is installed on a moving user. When the user enters a preset detection range, at least two RFID detectors detect the RFID tag and generate an identification signal, respectively. The processing device is coupled to at least two RFID detectors. The processing device generates a distance signal between the RFID tag and the at least two RFID detectors according to the identification signals and positions of the at least two RFID detectors. The processing device generates a positioning signal relevant to a position of the RFID tag within the preset detection range according to the distance signal.

RADIOFREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION EQUIPPED MEDICAL CABINET SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLY AND USE THEREOF

An RFID-enabled storage container and systems and methods for assembly and use thereof. The RFID-enabled storage container may include adjustable shelving with built-in antennas, such that the shelving may be customized as may be needed. The system may include a storage container, an inventory management system, and one or more point of use terminals. The storage container may identify and check inventory stored thereon, and provide such information to the inventory management system. The storage container may notify the inventory management system when a product is no longer detected within its inventory, and the inventory management system may monitor the one or more point of use terminals to determine if the undetected product has been used at one of the point of use terminals. The inventory management system may also predict inventory needs as well as maintain age and other data for inventory and provide feedback via an illumination indication.

Waste Container Monitoring System
20220382822 · 2022-12-01 ·

A container having a compactor and bin for waste is disclosed permitting on-premises and remote monitoring of the system and collection is disclosed. The system can also detect non-complaint materials placed therein and act thereon. Methods are further disclosed for inventorying identification tags for tracking packages, merchandise and tags disposed of.

System and method to monitor inventory of storage container

A system and method for monitoring the inventory of a medical storage container that has a required inventory of medical articles. An enclosure is used to isolate, scan, and take an inventory of a tray or other container of medical articles each of which has an RFID tag. The enclosure having a size smaller than the size needed for a resonant frequency at the RFID frequency of operation of the tags. An injection device is used to create a robust electromagnetic field standing wave of constructive interference in the enclosure and a program compares the scanned present inventory of the tray to the required inventory database and indicates any differences. Expired and recalled articles are identified.

Retrofit vehicle sensor

Devices and meters comprising: a housing configured to mount to a pole supporting an existing meter, the housing defining an interior; a sensor within the interior of the housing, the sensor configured to collect environmental information pertaining to the local external environment of the existing meter; a wireless radio within the interior of the housing, the wireless radio configured to transmit the environmental information to the existing meter or to a remote server in communication with the existing meter; a power unit within the interior of the housing, the power unit supplying power to the sensor and the wireless radio.

System for and method of rapidly determining true bearings of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags associated with items in a controlled area

An RFID tag reading system and method accurately and rapidly determine true bearings of RFID tags associated with items in a controlled area. An RFID reader has an array of antenna elements and a plurality of RF transceivers. A controller controls the transceivers by steering a primary transmit beam over the controlled area to each tag, by steering a primary receive beam at a primary steering angle from each tag, by steering a plurality of secondary receive beams at different secondary steering angles that are offset from the primary steering angle by receiving secondary receive signals from each tag, and by processing the secondary receive signals to determine a true bearing for each tag. Bidirectional communication between the reader and a tag is conducted over a single inventory round in which the tag is read a plurality of times by the primary and the secondary receive beams.

System Providing Self-Service Access to Locked Merchandise
