TERMINAL DEVICE AND PROGRAM
An embodiment of the invention is a terminal device controlling a body support apparatus capable of a first operation and a second operation; the terminal device includes a displayer and a controller; the displayer displays an operator controlling an operation of the body support apparatus; the controller switches between a first display format and a second display format based on an instruction from an outside; the first display format displays a first operator and a second operator in the displayer; the first operator controls the first operation; the second operator controls the second operation; and the second display format displays one of the first operator or the second operator in the displayer.
Transport apparatus
A first transport apparatus includes a deck for supporting a patient thereon and a lift mechanism supporting the deck. The deck is removable from the lift mechanism for use as a second transport apparatus or part of a second transport apparatus. The first transport apparatus further includes an electrically powered device at the first transport apparatus, and a user input device for wireless control of the electrically powered device, which is operable at or near the first transport apparatus and the second transport apparatus.
Wheelchair improvement kit and manual wheelchair
The present invention relates to a wheelchair improvement kit and a manual wheelchair. The improvement kit includes an anti-tip device including a pair of multifunction tube assemblies. Each multifunction tube assembly includes a mount tube configured for pivotally mounting one on each side of the wheelchair, a slide tube slidably engaged to the mount tube where both ends of the slide tube extend beyond the mount tube, a slide tube brake engaging or releasing the position of the slide tube relative to the mount tube, and an extendable pole inserted into the top of the slide tube. The top of the extendable pole is fitted with a hand grip. The anti-tip device further includes a pair of guide tubes configured for mounting one on each side of the wheelchair. When the multifunction tube assembly is used as the anti-tip device, the slide tube passes through the guide tube.
Lovemaking apparatus for the disabled with pivoting tabletop platform and pivoting wheelchair seat
The lovemaking apparatus includes a table having a slidable platform pivotally mounted in a U-shaped opening defined in an end of the table and a wheelchair having a chair assembly that is pivotally mounted on a wheelchair frame. The wheelchair may be rolled to the platform end of the table so that the seat and leg rest portion of the chair assembly is below the free end of the platform, linear actuators may be actuated to pivot the platform at an angle using switches mounted at the platform end of the table, and the platform may be slid downward towards the seat of the chair assembly of the wheelchair. Linear actuators mounted on the wheelchair frame may be actuated to tilt the back of the chair assembly rearward and raise the seat of the chair assembly upward to position partners for sexual relations.
Backrest assembly and wheelchair therewith
A backrest assembly of a wheelchair seat has a tubular seating frame. The backrest assembly includes a backrest, two hollow backrest tubes connecting the backrest to the seat, and at least two joints allowing movement of the backrest tubes between at least first and second end positions. Two locking means are provided for locking and/or unlocking the joints. A hollow handle tube has a single handle for effecting the locking means which is arranged between the backrest tubes and mechanically connected to the locking means via cables. The handle further effects movement of the backrest tubes, via the joints, with use of one hand in constant grip of the handle. The handle is actuated by at least partly sliding, rotating, squeezing, pushing and/or pulling. The locking means automatically re-locks after unlocking and reaching the first or second end positions.
PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUS HAVING DETACHABLE BARRIER ASSEMBLY
A patient support apparatus that is adaptable to multiple modes of transport includes a variable length base and a drive system that includes two independently drivable wheels that are responsive to inputs from a user to steer the patient support apparatus. A barrier assembly is secured to the upper frame by a tab which is received into a receiver formed in a head end of the frame.
User control device for a transporter
A user control device for a transporter. The user control device can communicate with the transporter via electrical interface(s) that can facilitate communication and data processing among the user interface device and controllers that can control the movement of the transporter. The user control device can perform automated actions based on the environment in which the transporter operates and the user's desired movement of the transporter. External applications can enable monitoring and control of the transporter.
SEATING SYSTEM
A seating system including a seat portion having a seating surface and a back portion having a support surface is disclosed. The seating system may be configured in a seated (or upright) configuration in which the seating surface of the seat portion is generally perpendicular to the support surface of the back portion. The seating system may also be configured in a stored configuration in which the seating surface of the seat portion is generally parallel with and faces towards the support surface of the back portion. The seating system may also be configured in a recumbent position in which the seating surface of the seat portion is generally parallel and faces in the same direction as the support surface of the back portion.
CHAIR
A chair includes a frame unit including a seat frame, a leg rest that is pivotally mounted to the seat frame, and a rest adjusting mechanism that is connected between the leg rest and the seat frame. The rest adjusting mechanism is convertible between an unlocked state, where the leg rest is permitted to pivot relative to the seat frame, and a locked state, where the leg rest is not permitted to pivot relative to the seat frame.
Novel Nursing Bed and Chair System
The utility model discloses a novel nursing bed and chair system. The system includes a bed frame. The bed frame is provided with a backrest portion, a footrest portion and a cushion portion. The backrest portion and the footrest portion are connected to the cushion portion in a vertically rotatable manner, respectively. One end of the footrest portion, remote from the cushion portion, is provided with a foot pad portion. The foot pad portion is rotatably connected to the footrest portion. The system further includes a backrest push rod and a footrest push rod with outer housings being fixed to the bed frame. An actuator of the backrest push rod is fixedly connected to the back of the backrest portion. The outer housing of the footrest push rod is fixed to the bed frame, and an actuator of the footrest push rod is connected to a transmission mechanism. The transmission mechanism includes a transmission frame and an L-shaped support frame. One end of the transmission frame is rotatably connected to the bed frame, and the other end is rotatably connected to one end of the L-shaped support frame. The other end of the L-shaped support frame is connected to one end of the foot pad portion remote from the footrest portion. The actuator of the footrest push rod is fixedly connected to the transmission frame. By adopting the utility model, a higher degree of automation can be achieved.
