An access code can be generated by a primary device and interpreted by a secondary device for the purpose of presenting, on the secondary device, additional content related to an application running on the primary device. The access code can be a two dimensional graphic or QR code that can be easily captured by a camera unit of the secondary device. Once captured, additional content related to the running application can be identified and displayed on the secondary device.

Measurement system and measurement method for measuring video processing quality

A measuring system for measuring video processing quality of a device under test includes a measuring device comprising transmission means set up for transmitting a video to the device under test. The device under test is set up for receiving the video and displaying it using a display included by the device under test. The video includes at least a first barcode to be displayed for a first duration. The measuring system includes a barcode reader set up for reading the first barcode from the display of the device under test. The measuring system is set up for determining the video processing quality of the device under test based upon measuring results of the barcode reader.

Systems and methods for anonymizing image data are disclosed herein. An example implementation includes: capturing, with an indicia reader, an image data of a field of view (FOV) associated with an imager within the indicia reader; determining, with the indicia reader, a facial area within the image data; producing, with the indicia reader, an anonymized image data by altering pixel data of the facial area of the image data; and (i) storing the anonymized image data in a nonvolatile memory of the indicia reader, or (ii) transmitting the anonymized image data from the indicia reader to one or more host processors.

CONTROLLER AND CODE READER SYSTEM

Occurrence of a reading error is suppressed even in a case where a conveyance state of a workpiece changes during operation. The controller includes an acquisition unit that acquires a detection signal of the workpiece, a conveyance speed of a conveyor, and installation information indicating relative position and posture of each camera with respect to the conveyor, a recognition unit that recognizes a conveyance state of the workpiece based on the detection signal and the conveyance speed, a processing determination unit that determines a control parameter corresponding to a conveyance position of the workpiece on the conveyor for each camera based on the conveyance state and the installation information of each camera, and a communication unit that transmits the control parameter determined by the processing determination unit to each corresponding camera.

System and method for optimizing slide pick basket operations

A system for optimizing slide pick basket operations, wherein the system includes at least a robotic arm, at least a processor, and a memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor, wherein the memory contains instructions configuring the at least a processor to perform an orientation check on a plurality of slides in a pick basket, wherein performing an orientation check includes receiving visual data, identifying an orientation of a first slide of the plurality of slides as a function of the visual data, and verifying that the orientation of the first slide aligns with a system requirement, pick the first slide of the plurality of slides as a function of verifying that the orientation of the first slide aligns with the system requirement, and place the first slide at a scanner.
