METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR THE TRANSFER OF DATA
A method and system for transferring encrypted data from a first electronic device to a second electronic device. The method includes the steps of displaying a first encrypted two-dimensional code at the output interface of the first electronic device, reading the first encrypted two-dimensional code with the input interface of the second electronic device, and decrypting the first two-dimensional code with the second electronic device, generating a second encrypted two-dimensional code with the second electronic device, and displaying the second encrypted two-dimensional code on the output interface of the second electronic device, reading the second two-dimensional code encrypted with the input interface of the first electronic device and decrypting the second two-dimensional code with the first electronic device and generating an action on the first electronic device based on the second decrypted two-dimensional code. The second two-dimensional code is a plurality of two-dimensional codes.
Data carrier, reading method and system utilizing super resolution techniques
The present invention relates to a method of reading out information from a data carrier and to a data carrier utilizing the concept of structured-illumination microscopy or saturated structured-illumination microscopy.
Computer configured to display multimedia content
A computer can comprise a housing, a microprocessor disposed within the housing, a display, and a communication interface communicatively coupled to the microprocessor. The computer can be configured, responsive to locating decodable indicia within content viewable on the display, to decode the decodable indicia to produce at least one decoded message. The computer can be further configured to display the content with decoded message data being embedded into the content. The decoded message data can be provided by at least one decoded message, data derived from the decoded message.

QUICK RESPONSE CODES
Systems and techniques include using a sensor of a computing device to detect the presence of a first portion of a code, the code including at least the first portion and a second portion, where the first portion of the code is decodable and includes an identifier and the second portion of the code is non-decodable. The computing device recognizes the identifier in the first portion of the code and obtains instructions for decoding the second portion of the code using the identifier and/or data associated with the identifier. The instructions to decode the second portion of the code are processed to generate a decoded second portion of the code. The computing device performs an action defined in the decoded second portion of the code.
IMAGE READER COMPRISING CMOS BASED IMAGE SENSOR ARRAY
The invention features an image reader and a corresponding method for capturing a sharp distortion free image of a target, such as a one or two-dimensional bar code. In one embodiment, the image reader comprises a two-dimensional CMOS based image sensor array, a timing module, an illumination module, and a control module. The time during which the target is illuminated is referred to as the illumination period. The capture of the image by the image sensor array is driven by the timing module that, in one embodiment, is able to simultaneously expose substantially all of the pixels in the array. The time during which the pixels are collectively activated to photo-convert incident light into charge defines the exposure period for the sensor array. In one embodiment, at least a portion of the exposure period occurs during the illumination period.
Code generation method
According to one embodiment, there is provided a code generation method including acquiring, and generating a code. In the acquiring, class information correlated with each of code rankings based on a plurality of different cell configurations is acquired. In the generating, a plurality of codes including the acquired class information are generated based on the cell configurations according to the code rankings. Each of the plurality of codes includes information indicating the presence or absence of a code of a next related ranking.
Generating measurement data using image data
Aspects of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for determining information based on a received image. The method includes one or more processors receiving image data from a computing device. The method further includes one or more processors identifying an object included in the received image data. The method further includes one or more processors determining a value that corresponds to the identified object included in the received image data. The method further includes one or more processors determining whether the determined value corresponds to a defined action. Another aspect of the present invention discloses an apparatus that includes a foreground label overlaying a background label, and a measurement device coupled to the foreground label. The measurement device is capable of movement in response to observing measurement data.
TRANSFERRING DATA FILES USING A SERIES OF VISUAL CODES
Software on an image-capturing device iteratively captures a visual code in a series of visual codes displayed in a repeating progression on a screen of a mobile device. The visual code was generated from a display block that resulted from a partition of an original data file into a series of display blocks of at least a specified size. The software converts the visual code back into a display block and reads a header for the display block, discarding the display block if it has already been captured, as determined by the ordered identifying block number in a header. The software stops the iterative capturing when all of the display blocks in the series have been captured, as determined by the count in the header and coalesces the captured display blocks into the original data file, using an order determined by the ordered identifying block numbers.
