Chair with forehead rest
Provided is a chair with a forehead rest, including a seating part which includes a seat board and a support leg supporting the seat board and on which a user is seated, a main support arm, an elastic support arm which is provided on an upper end of the main support arm and includes a first elastic support arm part that bends forward while protruding upward and a second elastic support arm part protruding downward from a leading end of the first elastic support arm part to be bent rearward toward a lower end of the second elastic support arm part, and a forehead rest which is provided on a leading end of the second elastic support arm part of the elastic support arm and by which the forehead of the user is supported.
ADJUSTABLE BACK SUPPORT
An adjustable back support for a mobility device includes a first adjustable back support assembly including a first support member and a second support member, and a second adjustable back support assembly. The first support member is moveably connected to the second adjustable back support assembly, the first support member being configured to pivot relative to the second adjustable back support assembly relative to a first axis of rotation, and the second support member is moveably connected to the first support member, the second support member being configured to pivot relative to the first support member relative to a second axis of rotation that is not parallel to the first axis of rotation.
Bathing apparatuses and methods of making and using the same
The apparatuses and methods of making and using the same are directed to bathing apparatus to support an object while bathing the object with a fluid. The bathing apparatus may comprise a support assembly constituting a support structure of the apparatus; a support surface to support the object, the support surface supported by the support portion; and a fluid catch disposed on at least three sides of the support surface, the fluid catch serving as a basin for the fluid in such manner to contain the fluid separate from the support surface.
Dynamic seating components for wheelchairs
A wheelchair includes a pivotable mechanism. The pivotable mechanism allows for a pivoting movement about an axis defined by an interface between adjacent components. These components may be (a) a seat member and a back member, (b) a seat member and a footrest, (c) a foot rest and a footplate support, (d) a baseplate and a footplate, or (e) a back member and a headrest.
Drive control system for powered wheelchair
A powered wheelchair is operated by sensor-based control pads that include force transducers to produce a variable output signal that is proportional to a varying force applied. The control pad provides an analog-type output that provides a variable speed signal to a controller to operate the wheelchair at a variable speed in both forward/reverse directions and in right or left turning directions.
HEAD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND SUPPORT UNIT
A support unit for a modular head support assembly having a right support post and a left support post, said support unit comprising: a support body; a right attachment element and a left attachment element configured for articulation with said right support post and said left support post, respectively, said right attachment element and said left attachment element being disposed at opposite sides of the support body; and an adjustment mechanism configured for selectively adjusting the position of the right attachment element and the left attachment element with respect to each other, at least from an extended position towards a retracted position.
The bathing apparatus may be used in combination with a support wall that includes a plurality of channels to hold household items.
Exoskeleton wheelchair system
An exoskeleton wheelchair system includes a base, one or more wheels coupled to the base, a body support connected to the base. The body support includes a back support, and one or more leg supports pivotally coupled to the back support. The exoskeleton wheelchair system also includes an actuator linked with the one or more leg supports and configured to rotate the one or more leg supports, a processor, a memory module, and machine readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to rotate the one or more leg supports with the actuator. The one or more leg supports pivot about a first axis when the back support is in a standing position mode, and the first axis is maintained at a fixed position when the one or more leg supports pivot about the first axis while the back support is in the standing position mode.
Systems and Methods for Controlling Mobility Devices
Embodiments of a mobility vehicle control system are provided. In one embodiment, a head array and control system are provided that allow for adjustment of a plurality of parameters associated with the head array including, for example, sensor pad settings, user settings, and feature settings. A veer adjust interface is also provided as a performance setting adjustment to allow for correction of any veer by the vehicle when being driven.
NON-RESTRAINING COLLAR
A non-restraining collar can include a unitary pillow having extending from a collar body first and second collar straps that extend opposite one another and terminate in respective distal ends separated by a space having a first distance in a relaxed state. The non-restraining collar can also include an elastically deformable spring member embedded in the unitary pillow, the elastically deformable spring member having portions extending into both of the first and second collar straps. The elastically deformable spring member can be deformed such that the first distance is increased to a second distance.
