Anti-bedsore bed

An anti-bedsore bed may comprise a bed unit, a first bed body, and a second bed body. The bed unit has a first mattress, and a bottom portion is coupled on a bottom surface thereof. Moreover, the bottom portion comprises a plurality of first supporting units at positions corresponding to a user's upper back, middle portion of back and lower back, and each of the first supporting units has a first sliding block moveably mounted on the bottom portion. Each of the first sliding blocks has a first supporting rod, and an abutting unit is pivotally connected to an upper end of the first supporting rod. Each of first power units secured on a bottom surface of the first sliding block is engaged with the first supporting rod while each of second power units secured on the bottom portion is engaged with the first sliding block.

Medical support apparatus

A medical chair includes a base, a seat, and a leg rest pivotally mounted relative to the seat and adapted to move between an extended position and a retracted position. The chair further includes a first actuator for tilting the seat with respect to the base, a second actuator for lifting the seat with respect to the base, and a leg rest actuator adapted to move the leg rest. The chair also includes a controller adapted to control the first and second actuators to move the seat between a first position and a second position such that the seat is both lifted and tilted at the same time as the seat moves from the first position to the second position, and wherein the controller is adapted to control the leg rest actuator such that the leg rest maintains a substantially constant orientation with respect to the floor.

Supporting structure

A supporting structure includes two pairs of legs and four wheels each arranged at a lower end of a respective one of the legs. Each leg includes an upper segment and a lower segment, and optionally a retractable leg extension segment for contacting ground instead of the corresponding wheel. Such supporting structure is adapted for producing a lowering motion while keeping the legs crossed on both lateral sides. Such supporting structure may be adapted for assisting a disabled person in travelling on the ground, and also possibly in climbing stairs.

KNEE SUPPORT
20210161742 · 2021-06-03 ·

Knee support system is provided to be incorporated within mobility apparatus. The knee support system comprises at least two oppositely positioned knee supports configured to be connected to members of the mobility apparatus, wherein the knee supports have a disengaged position in which the knee supports are laterally rotated and an engaged position in which the knee supports are harnessing legs of a user. Each of the knee supports comprises a bar and a bracket, wherein relative movement is maintained between the bar and the bracket so as to allow the bracket to laterally move in respect of the bar.

RADIO MAPS FOR LOCATION AND/OR POSITIONING SERVICES

Inter-alia, a method is disclosed comprising: obtaining one or more first fallback objects indicative of a geographic area that is covered by one or more cells of a communication network; obtaining one or more pieces of cell information indicative of a number of positioning requests that a respective cell of the one or more cells has received; determining one or more second fallback objects out of the one or more fallback objects; determining for an area of the respective second fallback object in that the needed level of accuracy for determining a position is not achievable, one or more cells based at least partially on the one or more pieces of cell information; and outputting the determined one or more second fallback objects and/or the determined one or more cells for usage in a generation of a radio map. It is further disclosed an according apparatus, computer program and system.

Elevated Height Wheelchair
20210052445 · 2021-02-25 ·

The present disclosure includes methods of operating a wheelchair configured to reposition an occupant between a lowered and a raised position. The wheelchair can include a frame, a seat moveable relative to the frame, a drive wheel, one or more pairs of arm assemblies, and one or more sensors. The arm assembly includes a wheel configured to move from a first spatial location when the wheelchair is operating on flat, level ground to a second spatial location that is different than the first spatial location. Arm limiters can selectively engage the arm assembly based on at least one of a seat position, position of the arm assembly, and surface conditions of ground surface. The arm limiters can limit the range of motion of the arm assembly and sometimes other operational aspects of the chair. The methods adjust the maximum operational speed of the wheelchair when the seat is in an elevated position based on sensor data relating to one or more of the arm limiter position and the position of the frame.

Configurable assistive device

A configurable assistive device comprising: a platform; at least three wheels; and, at least three independent leg mechanisms, each respective leg mechanism coupled to the platform and a respective one of the at least three wheels, each respective leg mechanism configured to move the platform relative to the respective wheel for positioning the platform at an elevation and for inclining the platform to an inclination to configure the assistive device into one of a plurality of configurations.

Device to provide assistance in transferring, standing, and the like

A device to provide assistance in transferring and standing includes a knee-fixing unit wrapped around and supporting either the knee area or at least the front and sides of the lower leg area from knee to ankle of a care-receiver; a pelvis support wrapped around at least the buttocks or a section from the pelvis to thighs of said care-receiver in a manner that prevents slippage from said pelvis support from slipping off; and left and right pulling bands. Each band having two connecting ends attached to the side of a thigh section and the side of a hip section of said pelvis support respectively so that said bands are positioned above and below the greater trochanter when said care-receiver is being pulled up during transfer/standing assistance and are positioned in front of and behind the greater trochanter when said care-receiver is seated.

LIFTING, MOBILITY, AND REHABILITATION APPARATUS FOR DISABLED PATIENTS

A mobility device that includes support assemblies that may be secured to feet, legs, thighs, and torso of a user. An exemplary mobility device may further include an actuator that may be coupled with the exemplary support assemblies and may actuate rotational movements of the exemplary support assemblies with respect to each other. Such movement of support assemblies may accordingly move respective limbs of a disabled user. An exemplary mobility device may allow for a user to change position from a lying position to a standing position or from a standing position to a sitting position, which may significantly increase mobility of a disabled user. An exemplary mobility device may further include an exemplary wheeled base that may allow a disabled user to further move around.
