Radio transmitter device for use in method and system for monitoring, controlling and optimizing flow of products
A liquid product distribution network includes a liquid product distribution monitoring and reporting apparatus for operation in association with a tap handle flow monitoring and reporting apparatus. The liquid product distribution monitoring and reporting apparatus includes a radio transmitter device and sensing circuitry for sensing and communicating physical properties associating with the keg. A tap handle flow monitoring and reporting apparatus senses flow of a liquid through a tap includes a tap handle radio transmitter device for fitting within and protected by a tap handle and a low-energy consumption tap handle radio/processing module. A mobile communications device with geographic position sensing device and/or said tap handle flow monitoring and reporting apparatus passively and without user interaction within the liquid product distribution network, without using network uplink/gateway circuit devices for sensing and reporting fluid storage, flow, and financial operations relating to the distribution of said liquid product throughout the liquid product distribution network.
System and method for supporting production management
Regardless of the production method applied, it is possible for a user to estimate a factor that causes trouble in one of the resources belonging to a resource type. A supporting system refers to management information indicating a production past record of the production system, and displays an overlay chart in which a diagram chart is relatively superimposed on a Gantt chart. The Gantt chart is a chart for a first resource type and has a resource axis and a time axis. The diagram chart is for a second resource type. In the overlay chart, a polygonal line connecting a plurality of points corresponding to a second resource, belonging to the second resource type, is on the Gantt chart, and each point is plotted at a position corresponding to an execution time of a step and a first resource, belonging to the first resource type, related to the step.
Analyzing and managing production and supply chain
A method and apparatus for controlling a supply chain including a production system. Sensor data is received from a sensor in the production system or elsewhere in the supply chain. The sensor data identifies an event in the production system or elsewhere in the supply chain. Event information for the event is stored in an events blockchain. The event information from the events blockchain is used in a process model simulation of the production system or the supply chain to identify an undesirable condition in the production system or elsewhere in the supply chain. System theoretic process analysis is used to identify a change in the production system or elsewhere in the supply chain to prevent occurrence of the undesirable condition.
PROJECT MODELING USING ITERATIVE VARIABLE DEFECT FORECASTS
Project modeling is conducted using variable defect arrival rate or variable defect rate density parameters. These defect rates may be updated on an iteration by iteration basis and may be used to provide remediation and further project modeling, remediation, and prediction.
METHODS, APPARATUSES, AND SYSTEMS FOR FACILITATING MANAGEMENT AND/OR AUTOMATION OF DIRECT MAIL CAMPAIGNS AND OTHER BULK/HIGH VOLUME MAILINGS
Methods, apparatuses, and systems for facilitating and/or automating project specification, vendor/supplier selection, packaging/processing, and/or mailing for bulk or direct mail campaigns are described herein. Via computer-facilitated techniques, a project manager (or other authorized user) of a mail campaign electronically provides various project information (e.g., project type, design specifications and quantities of materials, mailing list(s), deadlines). Multiple authorized suppliers of services germane to direct mail campaigns (e.g., print shops, lettershops) electronically access the project information and in turn provide respective bids to perform at least some services required by the project. The methods, apparatuses, and systems may also generate logistical recommendations to the user for the bulk or direct mail campaign based on the processed data and on logistical information obtained from a variety of sources.
Process Simulation in a Cell Processing Facility
The present invention provides improved methods, facilities and systems for parallel processing of biological cellular samples in an efficient and scalable manner. The invention enables parallel processing of biological cellular samples, such as patient samples, in a space and time efficient fashion. Process simulation may be used to determine the optimal arrangement and/or quantity of cell processing equipment needed. The methods, facilities and systems of the invention find particular utility in processing patient samples for use in cell therapy.
GUIDED ANALYTICS SYSTEM AND METHOD
According to an example embodiment, a guided analytics includes a memory having computer-readable instructions stored therein. The system also includes a processor configured to define a problem, identify and prepare one or more data sets associated with the problem, analyze the one or more data sets to generate one or more models, and determine, using a guided analytic workflow, one or more solutions to the problem based on the one or more models. The guided analytic workflow includes a plurality of workflow resources associated with each of a plurality of phases of the guided analytic workflow, the plurality of workflow resources being presentable to a user at one or more phases to provide at least one of analytical and statistical information related to a corresponding one of the plurality of phases and to facilitate user selection of one or more analytical techniques and associated parameters for the corresponding phase.
CREATING AND EXECUTING A WELL CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION PLAN
A plan structure and a method for creating a plan for forming/operating a sub-sea or sub-terranean well, in an automated planner, are disclosed. The plan defines logical, sequential and conditional interrelationships between events in the plan, so that a controller can carry out the plan in a flexible and time-independent manner to complete the sequenced events. The definition of the logical, sequential and conditional interdependencies permits flexibility in how the controller uses the time and resources available to it so that the plan directs the controller in a non-prescriptive manner, allowing greater flexibility in plan execution and reducing the necessity for re-planning to occur when changes in the world or environment in which the controller executes the plan are detected.
Security assessment scheduling tool
A security assessment scheduling tool uses a configuration file that is configurable via a user interface, to specify one or more elements of an application to be analyzed during the scoping process. Further, the security assessment scheduling tool may automatically schedule assessments for large numbers of applications using one or more constraining optimization techniques and/or via modeling the scheduling problem as an RCPSP problem. The security assessment scheduling tool processes the RCPSP problem for a defined period of time and then schedules remaining unscheduled applications within a specified time period thereby allowing the security assessment scheduling tool to schedule assessments of tens of thousands of applications.
Replanned plan output device
A replanned plan output device that outputs a replanned plan for an operation plan of performing planned schedules in order by an operation of a vehicle in charge, includes: a replanned candidate determination unit configured to, when a difficult-to-perform schedule that becomes difficult to be performed by the vehicle in charge among the planned schedules occurs, determine another vehicle as a candidate for a substitute vehicle for performing the difficult-to-perform schedule; and a substitute vehicle selection unit configured to, when a plurality of candidates for the substitute vehicle are set, select the substitute vehicle for performing the difficult-to-perform schedule from the plurality of candidates for the substitute vehicle in consideration of the number of changes of the vehicle in charge and an additional cost of each of the schedules specified in the operation plan.
