MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR POINT OF CARE TESTING
The present invention relates to a method and system for quality compliance, system and operator verification, and process management for point of care biological sample testing systems used in hospitals and other medical delivery environments. Specifically, the present invention may be directed to a computing device configured to generate a plurality of attributes configured to assess a competency level of an operator to operate at least one sample testing instrument, obtain operator derived data pertaining to the operator's ability to operate the at least one sample testing instrument, and determine a competency level of the operator for the at least one sample testing instrument based the plurality of attributes and the operator derived data.
DETERMINING AND ENHANCING PRODUCTIVITY
Techniques and technologies for determining and enhancing productivity are described. In at least some embodiments, a system for includes a processing component operatively coupled to a memory; a productivity analyzer at least partially disposed in the memory, the productivity analyzer including one or more instructions that when executed by the processing component perform operations including: receive productivity data associated with usage of one or more productivity tools by at least one user during a time period; receive biometric data associated with one or more biometric aspects of the at least one user during the time period; analyze one or more aspects of the productivity data and the biometric data; and determine based on the analysis at least one productivity-related operation intended to enhance at least one productivity metric of the at least one user.
Virtual markings in welding systems
Apparatus, systems, and/or methods are disclosed relating to welding systems that allow for virtual marking of welding workpieces. In some examples, a virtual marking process of the welding system generates and/or displays one or more markings on a display of the welding system in response to a dynamic input. In some examples, the dynamic input may comprise one or more of a user input received via a user interface, a marking instrument, and/or a welding gun of the welding system. In some examples, the dynamic input may comprise images captured by the welding system and recognized by the welding system as indicating markings. In some examples, the markings may guide an operator by indicating weld locations and/or weld order. In some examples, the markings may include embedded marking data (and/or metadata) that may be accessed and/or displayed to provide additional information and/or guidance to the operator.
SYSTEM FOR ANALYZING WORKFLOW AND DETECTING INACTIVE OPERATORS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Provided is an improved apparatus and method for identifying inefficient workers in a workplace. The apparatus receives voice commands from a worker in the workplace and transforms the voice commands into text commands by converting audio signals associated with the voice commands to one or more points in data that are stored in a database. The apparatus further creates a dialogue-stream including the text commands and a time of receipt of each voice command associated with the respective text command. Further, a workflow record may be created from the dialogue-stream and may be used to generate an efficiency metric for the worker. Both the dialogue-stream and workflow record can be used to monitor the efficiency of the worker and implement effective changes to the workflow process.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR ASSESSING DIVERSITY BIAS IN ALGORITHMIC MATCHING OF JOB CANDIDATES WITH JOB OPPORTUNITIES
In some embodiments, a method can include receiving a set of job descriptions and a set of candidate profiles. Each job description is associated with a first subset of candidate profiles from the set of candidate profiles. The method can further include executing a model to identify, from the first subset of candidate profiles, a second subset of candidate profiles that satisfy a fit metric and a third subset of candidate profiles that does not satisfy the fit metric. The method can further include calculating a bias metric based on a true positive value, a false positive value, a true negative value, and a false negative value that were calculated based on auditing the second subset of candidate profiles and the third subset of candidate profiles. The method can further include updating the set of job descriptions based on the bias metric.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING OPERATOR SETTINGS FOR A WORK MACHINE
A work machine, such as a wheel loader, operating in a worksite within a wireless control system includes an operator-specific configuration of machine settings associated with an identification for the operator. As the work machine executes a work function, the operator identification, an initial operator-specific configuration, and sensed performance metrics are transmitted to a control system for the worksite. Linking the operator identification to one or both of the initial operator-specific configuration and the metrics, the control system analyzes performance of the work machine by the operator with increased granularity and flags potential irregularities. A modified operator-specific configuration to change operator performance is returned to the work machine and made to override the initial operator-specific configuration when the operator next takes control of the work machine.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSESSING WORK HABITS AND PROVIDING RELEVANT SUPPORT
Employee locations, behavior, language use, emotional expressiveness, and movements are observed by an AI system and network to a communication network to modify, preempt, and mitigate behavior anticipated by an AI model of employee behavior. A system includes a plurality of computational devices and sensors accessed and configured to determine, through one or more networks, a location and behavior of a person and/or a context of the person at documented times and location to predict and evaluate user behavior. An employee's responses to a human psychometric analysis test or personality analysis tool are input to an AI model, as well as written, verbal and visual communications, whereupon the AI model is informed and further trained to consider indications of the employee's (1.) cognitive style, and (2.) behavioral and/or cognitive strengths, preferences and traits as derived from an analysis of employee's responses to the psychometric analysis test or personality analysis tool.
Systems and methods for setting correspondence between pieces of equipment, locations and elements of a lockout procedure checklist
Systems and methods for setting correspondence between pieces of equipment, locations and elements of a lockout procedure checklist comprising a procedure checklist and marking tools. The procedure checklist is printed over a markable support and comprises elements printed thereon each comprising a unique graphical assemblage. Marking tools, provided at locations to perform securing operations on pieces of equipment, are adapted to generate markings on the support matching the graphical assemblages. The operator following each of the elements of the procedure uses the marking tools at the locations to generate markings on the support, and thereby completion of the procedure may be validated by comparing the markings generated on the support with the graphical assemblages thereon. Procedure allows to validate that operations are performed only on appropriate pieces of equipment and location, and that all steps are performed.
ASSISTANT FOR EFFECTIVE ENGAGEMENT OF EMPLOYEES
A method comprising: generating first sentiment identifier of a user, the first sentiment identifier of the user being a text sentiment identifier; generating a second sentiment identifier of the user, the second sentiment identifier including one of a voice sentiment identifier of the user and an image sentiment identifier of the user, the image sentiment identifier being an indication of an emotional state of the user that is manifested in a facial expression of the user during the telephone call; generating a composite signature of the user based on the first sentiment identifier and the second sentiment identifier; and classifying the composite signature of the user into one of a plurality of categories.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
In a business management system (1) according to an example embodiment of the present invention, a user PC (10) determines whether a position of an iris of a user being detected by analyzing an image is within a correspondent screen region, calculates viewpoint coordinates on a display screen when the position of the iris of the user is within the correspondent screen region, and uses coordinate information of an application screen being displayed on the display screen and the viewpoint coordinates to identify an application providing an application screen viewed by the user. Then, a management server (20) determines whether the identified application is a predetermined application used in a business, and calculates a usage time of an application determined to be the predetermined application.
