MULTIFUNCTIONAL USER DEVICE
A method includes a data processing computer receiving an authorization request message comprising a user device identifier, addition method data, and an amount for an interaction from a network processing computer. The network processing puter determined the user device identifier from a token associated with a first interaction type of a plurality of interaction types associated with a plurality of tokens. The data processing computer can then determine whether or not the user device identifier matches a stored user device identifier. If the user device identifier matches the stored user device identifier. then the data processing computer can further process the interaction using the user device identifier and the addition method data.
Customized Payment Card and a Method for Generating the Customized Payment Card
The present invention relates to a multifunctional payment card configured to be used for a variety of purposes wherein money can be easily transferred from any credit card, debit card, and/or bank account onto the card. Money spent using the card can be tracked using a card ordering software application and money can be added/transferred to the card or removed from the card. A card generation system generates the payment card and a user may use the card ordering software application for ordering and customizing the card. The card can be used as a gift card and prepaid card. The card is provided both as a physical card and a digital card.
Systems and methods for provisioning transaction data to mobile communications devices
The system comprises approving a credit application during a single http session, transmitting an encoded secure token to a web-client participating in the http session, receiving from the mobile communications device the secure token, and transmitting the transaction account data to the mobile communications device, in response to the receiving the secure token. The system may further comprise the mobile communications device decoding the secure token.
NFC ENABLED CARD FOR CONSUMER ACCESSIBILITY
A contactless card useful for adjusting the operation, configuration, and/or performance of a secondary device is described. The contactless card is equipped with a communication interface which allows the contactless card to transmit information to the secondary device using NFC signals. The contactless card stores accommodation information related to a physical accommodation desired by the user and transmits that information in the form of an accommodation message to the secondary device after being placed in a NFC field generated by the secondary device. In some embodiments, the contactless card requests an authentication certificate in order to determine a degree of trust prior to sending an accommodation message. In some embodiments, the contactless card may adjust what accommodation information is included in the accommodation message based on the authentication certificate received from the secondary device.
Multi-Purpose Physical Smartcard
A multi-purpose smartcard is disclosed. a computer-implemented method of controlling a smartcard. The smartcard can include a near-field communication (NFC) system. The NFC system can be configured to communicate with remote computing systems. The smartcard can include one or more computing chips embedded in the smartcard. The smartcard receives, from a provisioning computing system accessible to a user, a transaction type indicator and transaction data, the transaction type indicator indicating a particular transaction type from a plurality of potential transaction types. The smartcard stores, in the one or more computer-readable media of the one or more computing chips, the transaction data. The smartcard communicates, using the NFC communication system and in accordance with the transaction type, the transaction data to an authentication computing system.
Apparatus and method for emulating transactional infrastructure with a digital transaction processing unit (DTPU)
Digital transaction apparatus including a Data Assistance Device (DAD), including a user interface that is operable to at least select data, and a DAD transmitter, a Digital Transaction Card (DTC), including a Digital Transaction Processing Unit (DTPU), and a DTC receiver, wherein the DAD and DTC are operable to transfer data from the DAD to the DTC and when subsequently using the DTC to effect a digital transaction, the DTC operates in accordance with data selected and transferred from the DAD to the DTC, wherein the DTPU is configured to enable data communication with a digital transaction device during a digital transaction, the DTPU operable to receive and execute one or more commands that emulate commands received from the digital transaction device.
Dynamic modification of a verification method associated with a transaction card
A device may determine that a verification method associated with a transaction card is to be modified from a first verification method to a second verification method. The first verification method and the second verification method may use different types of verification information. The device may provide a set of instructions to the transaction card after determining that the verification method is to be modified. The set of instructions may cause the transaction card to modify the verification method from the first verification method to the second verification method. The device may provide information identifying a modification to the verification method to a transaction backend device to notify the transaction backend device that the verification method associated with the transaction card has been modified from the first verification method to the second verification method.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CARD ACTIVATION
Method and apparatus for card activation are provided, which belong to computer technology. The method is applied to an intelligent device having a secure element (SE) chip and includes: creating a first background thread during pre-activation operations using a user interface (UI) thread; obtaining a first part of data for the card activation from a server using the first background thread; writing the first part of data to the SE chip using the first background thread; creating a second background thread after the pre-activation operations have been accomplished using the UI thread and the card activation is confirmed; and writing a second part of data for the card activation to the SE chip using the second background thread.
PAYMENT SWITCHING METHOD AND DEVICE
A payment switching method includes displaying a display interface of virtual cards after receiving an interface displaying instruction by a first terminal. The display interface of the virtual cards displays at least two payment modes, one of the at least two payment modes being a currently selected payment mode. The method also includes determining a target payment mode from the at least two payment modes according to a detected payment switching operation and switching from the currently selected payment mode to the target payment mode. The method further includes performing a payment based on the target payment mode.
Method of access to a local service of a device communicating via a terminal
A method of access to a local service of a device communicating via a terminal, the method comprising steps of: access to the service via an access terminal by a communicating device; reading by the access terminal of data of the communicating device, the data being personal data relating to the communicating device and/or third-party service data; writing by the access terminal of the data of the communicating device, the third-party data written being chosen from among a set of third-party service data, the choice of the third-party data to be written by the access terminal being dependent on the choosing criteria.
