PAYMENT CARD ASSET CONSTRUCTION SERVICE
Apparatus and methods for providing a digital card asset construction service. In and embodiment, a digital card asset service computer provides access to a digital card asset application user interface (API) to an issuer device, then receives a request from a user to construct or update a digital payment card product and receives card art data for the digital payment card product responsive to one or more queries presented by the digital card asset API. The process also includes receiving, by the digital card asset service computer from the issuer device, digital payment card product characteristics data responsive to at least one digital payment card product characteristic query, transmitting computer executable instructions to the issuer device for rendering an image of a payment card on a display screen of the issuer device as the user inputs data, then receiving an indication that the user is finished inputting data, and lastly storing a payment card product data file that includes card art data and payment card product characteristics data to a cloud service.
SINGLE APPLICATION FOR TWO DIFFERENT CARDS
Examples described herein relate to apparatuses and methods for processing two or more credit cards by a financial institution computing system, including but not limited to receiving, from a user, the credit application for applying for two or more credit cards, processing, by the financial institution computing system, the credit application for the two or more credit cards, and issuing, by the financial institution computing system, at least one of the two or more credit cards.
Payment application initiated generation of payment instruments
In some examples, a system and method for generating a payment instrument are described. The method includes receiving a unique signature that a recipient intends to associate with the payment instrument; verifying that the received feature meets an acceptability criterion; generating a representation of the received signature, wherein the representation is in a form capable of being physically associated with the payment instrument, and wherein association is established by embedding or exposing the representation on the payment instrument; and causing physical generation of the payment instrument having associated therewith the representation of the signature.
Systems and methods for digital account activation
A computer-implemented method includes receiving a first input from a customer to establish an account at a financial institution; establishing the financial institution account for the customer based on registration information regarding the customer; generating a card number for a physical payment card and associating the card number with the financial institution account; receiving a customer-input PIN that establishes the PIN for the financial institution account after establishing the financial institution account and generating the card number; receiving a second input from the customer to provision the financial institution account to a mobile wallet application before creation of the physical payment card; provisioning the financial institution account to the mobile wallet application; and associating the card number with a status indicator, the status indicator associated with a digitally-active status that enables the customer to engage in mobile wallet transactions using the financial institution account.
Augmented reality card activation experience
Various embodiments are generally directed to enhancing a card activation experience for an authorized card user when activating a new card by at least displaying various types of information related to the new card in augmented reality (AR) and allowing the user to perform the activation itself or experience other aspects of the activation process in AR. Information pertaining the successful activation of the card may also be provided to the user in AR.
