A method and a system for providing a financial transaction using an empty card are provided. The method for providing a financial transaction using an empty card includes receiving, by a server, a virtual card number generated by a program included in a user terminal, searching, by the server, for an empty card storage location at which the empty card is registered, in a storage location search algorithm based on the virtual card number, searching, by the server, for a real card number storage space linked to a user identification (UID) assigned to the found empty card storage location, extracting, by the server, a real card number stored in the real card number storage space, and performing, by the server, a financial transaction progress or a financial transaction progress request with the extracted real card number.
Establishment of a secure session between a card reader and a mobile device
Some examples include establishing a secure communication session between a mobile device and a card reader. For instance, a trusted, remote validation server may be used to validate security information of a software module executing on the mobile device prior to the card reader and the software module establishing a secure communication session with each other. In some cases, the software module sends the security information of the software module to the validation server. The secure communication session between the software module and the card reader may be established based on a validation result of a validation process indicating that the security related information of the software module has been determined to be valid by the validation server.
TRANSACTION PROCESSING USING OPTICALLY ENCODED INFORMATION

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVISIONING POINT OF SALE TERMINALS
A provisioning system is provided for terminals such as point of sale terminals. An interface device interfaces with a smart card and a provisioning server, providing initialization keys and security codes that are stored on the smart card. At a terminal, an initialization key from the smart card may be provided to the terminal if a correct security code is entered at the terminal. The terminal may then provide a terminal authorization package to the smart card. The terminal authorization package is stored on the smart card. At the interface device, the terminal authorization package is provided to the provisioning server. The terminal may then securely communicate transactions with an issuer server.
CARD-TO-SMARTGLASSES PAYMENT SYSTEMS
Methods and apparatus for card-to-smartglasses payment systems are provided. A smartglasses device may scan a payment card using a camera. The smartglasses device may identify card data elements from the payment card. The smartglasses device may initiate a transaction. The transaction may include the following components: a payer, a payee and a transaction amount. The payment card may be associated with the payer component of the transaction. As such, the card data elements may be included as the payer component of the transaction. The smartglasses may receive data from a third-party relating to the payee component of the transaction. The transaction amount may be inputted into the smartglasses as user input. The generated transaction may be transmitted to an entity for processing. Upon processing completion, the entity may transmit a notification to the smartglasses, to a device associated with the payment card and to a device associated with the payee.
