There are provided systems and methods for a payment information autofill mechanism that links a browser application with a user account such that a payment page at the browser application can be automatically filled based on the link. Specifically, the autofill mechanism establishes a link between a browser application running on a user device and a user account associated with the user that is stored at the server. When the user engages with the browser application to conduct a transaction on a merchant website, an application programming interface (API) call can be made to retrieve user virtual card information for automatically populating the payment data fields at the transaction page.

A payment bridge installed on the service provider's computer system communicates with the practice management software and the secure gateway network to accept payments by credit card for invoices generated by the practice management system which are securely transmitted through the secure gateway network to the credit card processing system for approval and processing and updating the practice management software to reflect payment by credit card when the charge is accepted by the credit card processing system. All credit card data is encrypted prior to transmission to the credit card processor and no unencrypted credit card data is stored at the service provider's location.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to an embodiment of a keyboard application in which a plurality of selectable items (representing keys) are associated with transactions. The keyboard application may be imported into any application that utilizes text input, and replaces a default keyboard used to provide the text input. Upon selection of one of the plurality of selectable items, a transaction is initiated by a service provider computer. In some embodiments, the transaction may result in the engagement of a third party entity. Once completed, an access credential associated with the completion of the transaction is generated. The access credential may be entered into the text input field of the application that utilizes text input.

The computing system may verify that a task associated with the code is within the authorized capabilities of the anonymized identity. Possibly based on the code (and perhaps other information as well), the computing system may transmit an instruction to the remote machine. The instruction may direct the remote machine to perform the task.
