Method and system for performing an operation
A server comprises a communications module; a processor coupled with the communications module; and a memory coupled to the processor and storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to receive, via the communications module and from a computing device, a signal representing a request to perform an operation from a user; determine that the user does not have a persistent account; and when it is determined that the user does not have a persistent account: obtain, via the communications module and from a digital identity network, a signal including verified identity data of the user; generate a temporary data record and associate the temporary data record with the verified identity data of the user; receive a value transfer based on the requested operation and store the received value in the temporary data record; and perform the operation using the stored value in the temporary data record.
Enabling user to user interactions in multi-user video conference applications
There are provided systems and methods for enabling user to user interactions in multi-user video conference applications. A user may utilize a computing device to interact with online service providers in order to initiate and/or join a video conference with one or more other users. During the video conference, the user may be provided with options to interact with other users, such as by engaging in electronic transaction processing. When performing such interactions, data for the video conference may be extracted and provided to a transaction processor server. The server may then utilize the data to determine accounts of users within the video conference that may be utilized for electronic transaction processing services. If no account exists, the server may initiate a process to onboard such users. When an account exists, the server may further populate graphical icons that may be used for electronic transaction processing services.
Mobile device implemented logistics functionality based on semantic analysis
The invention relates to a method and system for booking reservations in a booking system and synchronizing bookings among several booking systems. The system comprises at least one booking system; at least one service provider; a mediator service; a client, and at least one client terminal device that can be a mobile device and that includes a dialogue. The client uses the dialogue to enter information into the system and the mediator receives inquiries and answers from the at least one booking system, the at least one service provider, and the at least one client. The mediator transfers and adapts information between them. The method and system are particularly suited for use with mobile phone users by Small Message Service messages.
Data input using multi-factor authentication
Techniques are disclosed relating to a method that includes, in response to a request from a user to complete a secure transaction, determining, by a computer system, that a plurality of transaction options is available for completing the secure transaction. The method further includes generating, by the computer system, a plurality of authentication codes, each authentication code of the plurality corresponding to a respective one of the plurality of transaction options. Receiving a particular authentication code of the plurality of authentication codes from a computing device associated with the user causes a selection of a corresponding transaction option.
DATA VERIFIED DEPOSITS
A system and method for verifying account ownership using verified deposits. An ACH verification platform may recognize or detect a verification process involving micro deposits. A verification platform may receive and store user login, initiate the deposits, and monitor the user's account to verify that posting of the deposits was successful. In embodiments, a dedicated web form or portal may be provided for receiving verification information.
USER VERIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON RESTRICTED URL OPENING ON BROWSER OF USER DEVICE
A computerized age-verification method, comprising: receiving an electronic request for verification of a user associated with a user device; opening a browser window in a browser running on the user device; attempting to open a URL listed on a directory of restricted URLs; responsive to receipt of a message denying opening of the URL, returning an indication that the user is not verified; and responsive to receipt of an indication that the URL opens, returning an indication that the user is verified.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, CUSTOMER IDENTIFICATION APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
According to the present invention, there is provided an information processing system (100) including an acquisition unit (11) that acquires an image, which is generated by a camera, of a face, a selection unit (14) that extracts a person in the acquired image, and selects a person who performs a settlement process based on at least one of a distance from a checkout apparatus, an appearance frequency, and an appearance period of time in a case where a plurality of persons are extracted, an identification unit (12) that identifies the selected person based on the image in which the person is included, and database information in which a feature value of a face is registered, a settlement unit (checkout unit (21)) that performs the settlement process with respect to the identified person.
System, Method, and Apparatus for User-Less Payment on Delivery
Described herein are systems, methods, and apparatuses for performing a user-less payment for an item upon its delivery by an unmanned delivery vehicle. The unmanned delivery vehicle may navigate to a delivery location, receive payment information, initiate a payment transaction with a remote server, and release the item at a specified location upon successful completion of the payment transaction. Upon arrival of the unmanned delivery vehicle, a wireless data transmission device may send payment information to a remote server, and the remote server may provide the unmanned delivery vehicle with an indication of whether the item can be released and a specific location at which the item can be released.
CONTACTLESS CARD PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
A dual-factor PIN based authentication system and method uses a cryptogram provided by a contactless card associated with the client in association with a PIN stored by the contactless card to authenticate the client. In some embodiments, cryptogram authentication may be preconditioned upon a PIN match determination by the contactless card. In other embodiments, the cryptogram may be formed at least in part using the personal identification number (PIN) stored on the contactless card encoded using a dynamic key stored by the contactless card and uniquely associated with the client. Authentication may be achieved by comparing the cryptogram formed using the PIN against an expected cryptogram generated an expected PIN and an expected dynamic key.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EMPLOYING A CARD ROTATION SEQUENCE TO AUTHENTICATE A USER
Systems and methods for authenticating identification information are disclosed. For example, an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) may comprise a user interface. The user interface may comprise a card reader. The card reader may be configured for card rotation about an axis of a bank card. The user interface may be configured to receive card rotation input from a user. The ATM may comprise at least one memory storing instructions. The ATM may comprise at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may comprise receiving identification information from the user. The operations may comprise receiving the card rotation input. The operations may comprise extracting a card rotation sequence from the card rotation input. When the card rotation sequence is within a predetermined threshold from a stored card rotation sequence corresponding to the identification information, the operations may comprise authenticating the user for an ATM operation.
