20230139952 · 2023-05-04 ·

Decentralized computer systems and methods are disclosed for using a debit network as an intermediary between distributed ledgers. One method includes: receiving, at a first blockchain network from a merchant, transaction information comprising a consumer identification, an issuer identification from a payment vehicle presented for a transaction, and a transaction amount in resources of a first type, wherein the merchant and/or its acquirer are participants of the first blockchain network but the consumer and/or issuer are not participants of the first blockchain network; sending the transaction information to a debit network; identifying, using the debit network, a second blockchain network having the consumer and/or the issuer as participants, using the received consumer identification or issuer identification; and if participants of the second blockchain network accept the transaction, generating a new immutable entry to the second blockchain network indicating a change in the resources of a second type.

Provided is a computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for obfuscating a captured credential's sensitive data. The method includes detecting, localizing, bounding, and outputting an image of the credential with the sensitive data obfuscated so that it is not human or machine readable during capture or output.

QUICK TRANSACTION COMPLETION USING MOBILE DEVICE
20170372405 · 2017-12-28 ·

A notification of a selection of a code displayed by a user computing device is received at a transaction processing server. One or more user identifiers associated with the user computing device are determined. Each user identifier identifies a user account at an online system and is determined based on a session with the online system active on the user computing device. Using the determined user identifiers, a user account including a mobile device identifier and user financial information is accessed. A request for user input is sent to a mobile device identified by the mobile device identifier. The request for user input includes a request for completion of a physical act on the mobile device by the user. Responsive to receiving an indication that the physical act was provided at the mobile device, the financial information is transmitted to a merchant server for conducting a financial transaction.

ENHANCED SECURITY IN SENSITIVE DATA TRANSFER OVER A NETWORK
20230208632 · 2023-06-29 ·

The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method and to a system for authenticating a transaction over a secure network. The method comprises, prior to authorization of a transaction: receiving, by a digital service server, from a merchant plug-in (MPI) computing device, via a directory server, a token and a first cryptogram for the transaction; decrypting, by the digital service server, the token into sensitive data; generating, by the digital service server, a first message including a validation result and the sensitive data; and transmitting, by the digital service server, the first message to an issuer server to authenticate the transaction.

FUEL LOYALTY REWARDS

A processing system for fuel transactions analyzes transactions for symbols indicating a purchase amount and directs information about the purchase to a loyalty platform. The loyalty platform may identify and communicate in real time or near real time with a personal device associated with the purchaser of the fuel. A user interface of the personal device may allow the purchaser to review and select options for processing the fuel purchase using value from a loyalty program account. The selected option may be used to modify fuel purchase parameters prior to settlement of the transaction or simply add points to the user loyalty program account.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTHORIZING AND PROCESSING PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS OVER A NETWORK
20170372275 · 2017-12-28 ·

A method for authorizing and processing payment transactions over a network, the method comprising the steps of initiating, responsive to a user payment request to process a payment for a purchase on a merchants web site, a user interface, establishing a secure communication channel between the interface and an account server, the account server having stored a profile of an registered user, submitting, by the user interface, purchase information of the purchase order to the account server, requesting, by the account server through the user interface, authentication of the user, linking, at the account server, purchase information to the user profile, requesting, through the user interface, purchase confirmation by the user, requesting, by the user interface, a checkout reference for the confirmed purchase order from the account server, submitting, at least part of the purchase information and the checkout reference to a payment service provider to process the transaction.

VEHICLE IDENTITY ACCESS MANAGEMENT

A vehicle includes a controller, programmed to responsive to identifying a first user via a mobile device, load a first non-person entity associated with the first user from the mobile device to configure vehicle settings, the first non-person entity including a driver setting, a first entertainment setting and a second entertainment setting; and responsive to identifying a second user entering the vehicle, switch from the first entertainment setting to a second entertainment setting.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ACCESS CONTROL
20170372315 · 2017-12-28 ·

A method for access control in an access control system for vehicles is proposed comprising at least one access control device, in the context of which by a display device of the at least one access control device facing an incoming vehicle in the access direction, a unique text assigned to the respective access control device is displayed which, due to the design and/or arrangement of the display device, is only visible in a defined area around the access control device. Under normal operating conditions, only one vehicle can be located in the defined area around the access control device. The displayed text is used to control the access control device in accordance with data transmitted to the access control system by a mobile electronic device (1), into which the text is dictated by a user.

System, Method, and Computer Program Product for Processing a Transaction as a Push Payment Transaction

Described are a system, method, and computer program product for processing a transaction as a push payment transaction. The method may include receiving, with a payment gateway processor, a transaction request from a merchant system. The transaction request may include transaction data associated with a payment device of a user, the payment device being associated with an issuer system. The method may also include generating, with the payment gateway processor, an authentication request based on the transaction data. The method may further include communicating, with the payment gateway processor, the authentication request to the issuer system. The method may further include, in response to the issuer system authenticating the authentication request, generating a push payment request including an account identifier associated with the merchant system, and communicating the push payment request to the issuer system.

ALERT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH REAL-TIME REMEDIATION AND INTEGRATION WITH THE EXCEPTION ORIGINATING SYSTEM

An alert management and real-time remediation system is disclosed. The system may receive, from an institution, an electronic file that includes an exception information (EI) data structure comprising exception information representing events and customers associated with the events, and a contact information data structure comprising an electronic address for each customer. The system may automatically parse the EI into events associated with the customers, and for each customer, send an event notification message (EN) to the electronic address of the customer, wherein the event notification message includes a link to an authentication interface of the institution associated with the customer. Responsive to the customer being authenticated by the authentication interface, providing a user interface to the electronic customer device for display to the customer, wherein the user interface displays information for each event associated with the customer and display elements from which a user may select, including a display element for a payment option; and responsive to the customer selecting the payment option, generating and sending a payment message to the institution.
