Method and system for authorization of transactions
A method for transaction authorization includes generation of a master authentication code based on an authorization request for a transaction by a server. The transaction is initiated by a user by way of a transaction application installed on a user-computing device. The server splits the master authentication code into a first authentication code and a second authentication code. The first authentication code is communicated to the transaction application and the second authentication code is communicated to the user by the server. The transaction application generates a response code based on the first authentication code and the second authentication code. The server receives the response code from the transaction application and processes the transaction based on a match between the response code and the master authentication code.
Signature input device, settlement terminal, and signature input method
A signature input device according to an embodiment includes a sign pad configured to output an electronic signature, an input pen configured to input the electronic signature to the sign pad, a three-dimensional position acquisition sensor configured to acquire three-dimensional position information of the input pen, and a control section configured to determine, if the input pen is separated from the sign pad, whether an electronic signature input support instructing motion is included in the three-dimensional position information and, if the electronic signature input support instructing motion is included, perform electronic signature input support processing on the electronic signature.
Drive-thru based order processing method and apparatus
A drive-through order processing method and apparatus are disclosed. The drive-through order processing method includes receiving customer information detected through vision recognition, providing product information based on the customer information, and processing a product order of a customer. According to the present disclosure, it is possible to rapidly process an order using customer information based on customer recognition using an artificial intelligence (AI) model of machine learning through a 5G network.
Mediator website for authenticating payment entities and supporting dynamic interface objects for payments
A system and method for secure and intuitive payment transactions at an ecommerce merchant website with a client device. The system has a trusted platform that hosts a Mediator site and Manifest database that includes a plurality of Manifest files. Each Manifest file includes a unique identifier and mapped payor information for a payment entity. The platform uses the Manifest to validate trusted payment entities and provide the Mediator site. The Mediator site generates cookies with payor information from the Manifest files, which are transmitted stored on user devices. These cookies are employed to facilitate trusted and intuitive transactions at merchant websites using dynamic interface objects presented on the user's client device interface.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MONEY TRANSFER
A method of staging a transaction includes receiving transaction information including a transaction type selection, a send amount, sender and recipient information, and compliance data. A staging record is generated responsive to the transaction information including at least a retrieval key to identify the staging record and a transaction type identifier expressing the transaction type selection. The transaction type selection is detected from the staging record, which is sent to an agent terminal set up to handle the transaction. The method further includes providing instructions for fulfillment of the transaction at the agent terminal. The transaction is rejected if the retrieval key does not lead to the staging record and the transaction proceeds if the retrieval key leads to the staging record. The transaction proceeds if the send amount and compliance data are consistent with applicable compliance rules and the transaction is rejected if the compliance rules are not met.
ACCESSING ACCOUNTS AT PAYMENT SYSTEM VIA PHOTOS
A method of using a device to access multiple payment accounts at a payment system via photos is disclosed. The method includes accessing a photo generated by a first device. The method includes determining first and second images of a first and second person in the photo, respectively. The method includes determining that the first image is associated with a first payment account at the payment system. The method includes, responsive to determining that the first image is associated with the first payment account, determining whether the second image is associated with a second payment account. The method includes, responsive to determining that the second image is associated with the second payment account, authorizing a payment application at the device to split a payment to a third payment account between the first and second payment accounts, or to initiate sending of the payment to the second payment account.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE IN MANAGING DIGITAL IDENTITIES
Systems and methods are provided for managing digital identities associated with users. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a computing device, an encrypted message from a communication device associated with a user where the message includes a changed attribute for the user. The method also includes generating a first hash of a first digital identity for the user with the changed attribute and generating a second hash of a second digital identity of the user stored in a ledger data structure. And, in response to the first hash not matching the second hash, the method then includes broadcasting a pending status of the first digital identity to a relying party for the second digital identity, and storing a certification of the changed attribute, received from the relying party in response to the pending status, based on verification of the changed attribute by the relying party.
DECENTRALIZED IDENTITY VERIFICATION PLATFORMS
Provided are systems and methods for facilitating identity verification using decentralized networks. The systems and methods described herein may allow a user to flexibly control the identity information of the user that is sent to and received by a recipient.
SERVICES FOR ENTITY TRUST CONVEYANCES
Services for trust conveyances of entities can be provided and managed. In connection with a transaction between first and second devices, a trust management component (TMC) can indicate trust levels of entities associated with the devices with regard to the transaction and/or an action attempted by an entity. With regard to an action attempted by the first entity, the trust level of the first entity can be evaluated to determine whether it is high enough to allow the action to proceed or to have the second entity respond to the action accordingly. If it is not high enough, the second entity, using the second device, can request a trust conveyance from the first entity via the TMC. The TMC can adjust the respective trust levels based on the outcome(s) of the action(s) of the respective entities with regard to executing the transaction.
COMMODITY REGISTRATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A commodity registration apparatus includes a check-in terminal, a sensor group, and a management terminal. A processor of the management terminal is configured to track movement of a shopper and store items using the sensor group. A first commodity list is updated to include a first item when the tracked movements indicate the known shopper has selected the first item for purchase. The movements of any unidentified shopper are tracked. The processor updates a second commodity list to include a second item when tracked movements indicate the unidentified shopper has selected the second item for purchase. The second commodity list is associated with a provisional identification code. Commodity registration data for settlement processing is generated using the first commodity list unless the unidentified shopper is later identified as the known shopper, in which case, commodity registration data is generated using the first and second commodity lists in combination.
