Fault tolerant token based transaction systems
Methods and systems for fault tolerant token based transactions are described. A user may perform a transaction with a mobile device. The mobile device may be in an offline mode or may be lacking a network connection to servers or cloud devices of a mobile payment system. The transaction may be processed through a transaction device, which may aid in the sending and receiving of transaction data while the mobile device is in the offline mode. The transaction device may communicate with the server or cloud device and the server or cloud device may process the transaction and communicate with the transaction device, which may forward data from the server or cloud device to the mobile device.
Payment card with budget display
Various examples are directed to payment cards with budget displays including systems and methods for using the same. A payment card may comprise a display and a control circuit. The control circuit may display, at the display of the payment card, a first display state indicating a first unused portion of a budget amount for a current budget period. The control circuit may access first budget status data generated in response to a transaction made with the payment card and modify the display to display a second display state indicating a second unused portion of the budget amount for the current budget period, wherein the second unused portion is based at least in part on the transaction.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND CONTROL PROGRAM FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
An information processing device includes a processor. The processor can acquire a balance of electronic money owned by a customer. The processor can update, every time the customer purchases a commodity, a total amount of price for the one or more purchased commodities. The processor can determine whether the total amount exceeds the balance of the electronic money. The processor can provide a notification in response to determining that the total amount exceeds the balance of the electronic money.
CASH BALANCE CHECK SYSTEM, METHOD CARRIED OUT BY CASH BALANCE CHECK SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A cash balance check system includes a plurality of settlement devices each configured to perform settlement processing for commodities to be purchased by a customer and a plurality of change machines each corresponding to one of the settlement devices. The change machines being configured to perform cash deposit and dispense processing for the settlement processing. Each of the change machines is configured to generate cash balance information indicating a remaining amount of cash in the change machine and output the cash balance information in association with identification information for the change machine. Each of the settlement devices is configured to acquire the balance and identification information output from the change machines and output the acquired cash balance and identification information.
STORE SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND CONTROL PROGRAM THEREFOR, AND CHECKOUT MACHINE AND CONTROL PROGRAM THEREFOR
A store system includes an information processing device and a checkout machine, which may be comprised by at least one processor. The information processing device acquires a balance of electronic money. The information processing device calculates a price every time a purchased commodity is registered. The information processing device correlates charge instruction information of the electronic money with a mobile terminal and stores the charge instruction information when a predetermined condition holds between the balance of the electronic money and the price. The checkout machine selects, when receiving a payment instruction from the mobile terminal not correlated with the charge instruction information, a payment mode for receiving an input of data concerning payment and selects, when receiving the payment instruction from the mobile terminal correlated with the charge instruction information, a charge mode for receiving an input of data concerning charging of the electronic money.
MOBILE TERMINAL, COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM AND WALLET SYSTEM
A mobile terminal includes: a display; and a processor including hardware, the processor being configured to acquire, when electronic money is deposited into a first electronic wallet from a first bank account registered in advance, information regarding a future scheduled withdrawal amount in the first bank account from a server managing the first bank account, and control the display to display alert information when a balance after withdrawal obtained by subtracting the scheduled withdrawal amount from a current balance of the first bank account is less than a scheduled deposit amount indicating an amount of electronic money to be deposited from the first bank account.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR A LOCKOUIT MECHANISM TO PREVENT OPERATING A SYSTEM IN REAL-TIME
A technique is provided that dynamically controls the speed at which a mobile device user can use funds. More specifically, the technique provides a lockout mechanism, which temporarily prevents the mobile device user from accessing and thus spending the funds.
Electronic trade processing system and method
In one implementation, a computer-implemented method, executed on a computing device and configured to effectuate a trading platform, includes: receiving balance information from a Value Unit Repository (VUR) to maintain a local balance datastore; receiving a matched order concerning a plurality of parties; and confirming that one or more balances defined within the local balance datastore and associated with the plurality of parties are sufficient to execute the matched order.
Electronic trade processing system and method
In one implementation, a computer-implemented method is executed on a computing device and includes: receiving general collateral assets from a first market participant for a trading platform; storing the general collateral assets within a trading platform account managed by a third party platform and associated with the trading platform; and collateralizing matched orders between the first market participant and the trading platform with the general collateral assets.
Dedicated point of sale over an intermittent network
Disclosed are various embodiments for improvements in customer relationship management and point of sale payment processing at remote event spaces. The system, apparatuses, and methods disclosed herein facilitate the transaction processing of credit cards and other payment vehicles in often remote locations where network connections may be intermittent and suffer from frequent disconnects or interruptions of service. The embodiments disclosed operate to detect network events, dynamically adjust to the event space, and processes the transactions on demand. The apparatuses are equipped to facilitate the event environment and are adapted to execute instructions to facilitate the financial transactions.
