System and method for automated deposit item handling
A computer system for automatically handling and releasing funds for deposit items has a memory storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the system to receive an image of a cheque received and scanned by an automated teller machine (ATM) for deposit into a first account of an institution associated with the ATM. The scanned image of the cheque is analyzed to identify an institution and account on which that cheque is drawn. If that account has sufficient available funds to cover the cheque, then the first account is credited in the amount of the cheque without placing a hold on any of the credited amount and funds of the account on which the cheque is drawn are encumbered in that same amount. After crediting the first account, an indication is provided that the funds are available (e.g., to withdraw). Related methods and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
System and method for generating dynamic repayment terms
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by a payment service system (PSS) from a first device associated with a first user, a request to borrow an amount from a second user. The first user is associated with a first user account and the second user is associated with a second user account, both of which are maintained by the PSS. The method includes in response to receiving the request, identifying, by the PSS, a first transaction history associated with the first user account and a second transaction history associated with the second user account in a data store of the PSS. The method includes determining, by the PSS, repayment terms to be associated with the request to borrow the amount based on the first transaction history and the second transaction history.
FINANCIAL STRENGTH INDICATION
A method for providing an indication of financial strength includes receiving a financial indicator and a predetermined spending budget status from a user. The predetermined spending budget status is associated with a spending budget for the user that has at least one payment account. The financial indicator is then associated with the predetermined spending budget status. A payment request that includes one of the at least one payment accounts is then received from a merchant. A current spending budget status is then determined using the spending budget and the at least one payment account. The financial indicator is then sent to the merchant for provision to the user in response to the current spending budget status being included in the predetermined spending budget status.
Intelligent authorization system
A financial institution computing system includes a network circuit enabling the financial institution computing system to exchange information over a network, a customer database storing financial information for a plurality of customers, and a transaction circuit. The transaction circuit is configured to receive a transaction request containing authentication information, the transaction request being created by a third party computing system associated with a third party, and pre-authorize the transaction request using information stored in the customer database. The pre-authorization includes determining that the authentication information matches information of the customer stored in the customer database, determining at least one characteristic of the customer, generating, responsive to the authentication information matching the information of the customer stored in the customer database, an intelligent authorization approval code based on the determined characteristic, and transmitting, over the network via the network circuit, the intelligent authorization approval code to the third party computing system.
Systems and Methods for Universal Custom Pairs Trading
Various embodiments are disclosed herein for allowing a user to generate and trade universal custom trading pairs. The embodiments may be further adapted to allow users to view real-time information for the universal custom trading pairs, which are updated as orders are placed, executed, and cancelled.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND DEVICE FOR TRANSFERRING VIRTUAL RESOURCES ACROSS DOMAINS
A method includes: generating, by a first terminal in a first domain, first virtual resource information according to virtual resource information provided by a first user. The first virtual resource information includes a quantity of a virtual resource, information of the first user, and information of a virtual resource receiving party. The first virtual resource information is transmitted to a cloud server, causing the cloud server to generate the second virtual resource information according to the first virtual resource information and return the second virtual resource information to the first terminal. The second virtual resource information at least includes the first virtual resource information and an order number. The second virtual resource information is sent to a second terminal, so that the second terminal transfers, based on the second virtual resource information, virtual resource corresponding to the quantity of the virtual resource to the virtual resource receiving party.
Offline Authorization of Airline Ticketing Requests
A method and system may reduce latency and improve connectivity by performing offline authorization of products and services related to airline reservations. A server device may receive a request for a product or service related to an airline reservation from a user including payment information for the user and may transmit the payment information to a payment service provider for authorization. In response to identifying an outage at the payment service provider, the server device generates a temporary approval code indicative of a successful payment to prevent latency during the outage at the payment service provider and stores transaction data including a representation of the payment information for the user in an offline database. The server device proceeds as if payment was successful and provides an order confirmation message to the user's client device indicating that the product or service has been reserved for the user.
Method for automated peer-to-peer wager facilitation system
A peer-to-peer wager facilitation system comprising a processor communicatively coupled to a storage comprising a gambler library with a plurality of gambler profiles. The processor is configured to receive a wager offer from a first gambler through a network, verify that the first gambler has the first amount of money, and reject the wager offer if the first gambler does not have the first amount of money. The processor is also configured to receive a wager acceptance from a second gambler through the network agreeing to the wager with the first gambler, verify that the second gambler has the second amount of money, and reject the wager acceptance if the second gambler does not have the second amount of money. The processor is configured to transfer the funds into a neutral third-party account, verify the outcome of the wager, and pay the funds to the winning party of the wager.
Processing network architecture with companion database
A system comprises a non-transitory machine readable storage medium storing instructions and a database identifying a plurality of assets and a state of each asset. The instructions configure a processor for receiving updates to a distributed electronic ledger managed by plural peer processors. Each update includes an event or change affecting one of the assets. The peer processors verify portions of the ledger describing each event or change. At least one of the updates has not yet been recorded in the ledger at a time of the receiving. The processor computes a state of each asset, based on the updates, receives a request for a state of one of the assets; and responds to the request, reflecting each event and change affecting that asset. The response is performed without waiting for the peer processors to verify an update that has not yet been recorded in the ledger.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STREAMLINING CREDIT AND/OR DEBIT CARD TRANSACTIONS UTILIZING BLOCKCHAIN SUPPORTED CREDIT TOKENS AND/OR DEBIT TOKENS
Systems and methods are provided for processing credit token and debit token based transactions in a blockchain supported network.
