System and method for targeted marketing and consumer resource management
Systems and methods are provided for providing targeted marketing to goods and services provides and consumer resource management services to consumers. An example system and method for targeted marketing comprises collecting transaction data from point-of-sale (POS) terminals and using a consumer identifier in the transaction data to access stored information about the consumer. This information may be used to target offers and advertisement to the consumer. In an example system for consumer resource management, a consumer may configure a consumer account on the enterprise infrastructure via a web-site. The consumer may use the consumer account to purchase and configure gift cards that may be used for purchasing goods and services. A universal transaction identifier may be associated with the consumer account and used to purchase goods and services from more than one selected goods and services providers.
Eco Advantage Mediation Apparatuses, Methods and Systems
The ECO ADVANTAGE MEDIATION APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (ECO ADVANTAGE) transforms transaction and user, merchant, and payment data inputs into eco, transaction, and region analytics outputs. In some implementations, ECO ADVANTAGE receive a request for a user's transaction value modifier (TVM) balance and a merchant's current TVM schedule from a merchant, receive a TVM transaction confirmation indicating a transaction has been successfully processed and TVM transaction data, debit from a user's account an amount of TVMs received from another merchant in a previous transaction for use in the transaction, credit to the user's account an amount of TVMs based on the TVM transaction data, and store TVM transaction data in a TVM transaction record.
Merchant Benefit Paid To Benefit Account Designated By Account Holder For Conducting Transaction
A method, system and computer program for enabling a loyalty system to be linked to one or more card issuers, cardholders, merchants, and thereby their cardholders. A system operable to create, implement and manage one or more loyalty programs that provide benefits to members of the loyalty programs in connection with transactions between the members and one or more merchants associated with the loyalty system. The method includes registering on the loyalty system one or more card issuers; one or more merchant acquirers associated with the one or more card issuers; a plurality of cardholders as members of the loyalty program. Establishing and applying rules for accrual and processing of benefits from the merchants to cardholders associated with the one or more card issuers in connection with transactions between the cardholders and the merchants with the loyalty system. Defining a rule based survey utility operable to issue surveys to members of the loyalty system on a transaction and non-transaction basis.
Method and System for Onboarding Wireless-enabled Products in a Network
Various embodiments provide systems and methods for connecting wireless-enabled products to wireless networks. Customer network credentials may be stored in a server along with a customer identifier (customer ID) during one-time registration. When a wireless-enabled product is purchased, a product identifier (product ID) and the customer's ID are forwarded to the server, which correlates the two identifiers, linking the purchased product to the customer. When the wireless-enabled product is powered on, the product accesses the server via a public network connection, and sends the product ID and a security token to the server. The server uses the product ID and the security token to authenticate the product. Once authenticated, the server uses the correlated customer ID to look up the network credentials for the customer's private network, and provides the network credentials to the wireless-enabled product. The wireless-enabled product then uses the downloaded credentials to access the customer's private network.
CROSS-SITE ONLINE SHOPPING ASSISTANT
Computer-implemented techniques are described herein for assisting consumers in automatically locating and systematically applying discount codes to electronic commerce platforms in order to obtain reduced prices. Such technology functions as a shopping assistant for online shopping. More specifically, one or more discount codes associated with an electronic commerce platform can be automatically located, evaluated against item(s) selected for purchase by a consumer, and then analyzed to determine the best result for the consumer. Information about the utility of the discount codes may also be recorded to machine-readable storage for further analysis.
UNIVERSAL LOYALTY REWARDS AND CURRENCY CONSOLIDATION
A system and method for providing a universal loyalty rewards and currency consolidation program is disclosed. The system allows customers to make purchases and earn rewards from a plurality of participant merchants using multiple payment forms, and at the same time, allows customers to redeem rewards at both participant and non-participant merchants.
The system may be implemented in both physical retail environments and online shopping environments.
PAYMENT CARD TRANSACTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS WITH INSTANT GEOGRAPHIC MERCHANT INCENTIVE NOTIFICATION
An electronic payment card processing system and method includes a host computing device having at least one processor in communication with a memory device and a multi-party payment processing network for processing payment-by-card transactions. The host computing device is configured to identify a first payment-by-card transaction between an enrolled cardholder and a first enrolled merchant that is processed over the multi-party payment processing network, identify at least one affiliated merchant of the first enrolled merchant; and send an affiliate incentive offer for the at least one affiliated merchant to the enrolled cardholder.
System and method for location-based token transaction processing
Systems, methods, and machine-executable data structures for the processing of data for the secure creation, administration, manipulation, processing, and storage of electronic data useful in the processing of electronic payment transactions. Aspects of such methods, systems, and data structures include providing at an electronic device, an output indicating that a dynamically-configured electronic token is in a transaction-ready state, where the dynamically-configured electronic token is associated with a plurality of loyalty accounts; in response to one or more signals providing information regarding a location of the electronic device, obtaining token data associated with a loyalty account of the plurality of loyalty accounts corresponding to the location of the electronic device; and via a data communication interface, route a token, generated from the token data, for processing at a transaction processing system.
Payment device applets with pre-stored messages and triggerable logic
A system may include a payment card that includes one or more chips that are operable to utilize information in a payment transaction to enact different functions. For example, a payment applet in a contact chip transaction (e.g., contact EMV transaction) or contactless chip transaction (e.g., contactless EMV transaction) may utilize information that flows through the chip (e.g., country, time, date, transaction amount, approval status) to trigger pre-stored messages or functions (e.g., switch to a payment option or account). Information may be introduced into the chip during a transaction as a result of manual input from the cardholder on the cardholder's phone or other device. Thus, transaction scripting (e.g., EMV scripting) may be utilized to let a card (e.g., static or powered) know that a function (e.g., change of account) is desired by a cardholder and the chip may, if not in the proper account, reset and restart the chip in a mode associated with the desired function (e.g., in the desired account).
INTER-ENTITY NON-MONETARY TRANSACTIONS
Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, software, and data structures that facilitate inter-entity non-monetary transactions. Some such embodiments include a single account identifier per consumer that is utilized across multiple entities to identify a single award account which is credited and debited in the consumer's transactions with all participating entities. One method embodiment includes receiving a unique account identifier within a transaction involving an account of the unique account identifier and calculating a value based on the transaction for transfer to the account of the account identifier. The method then generates a data structure in memory to transfer the calculated value to the account of the account identifier and signing the data structure in the memory with a private key of a private/public key-pair. The method then transmits the data structure to a computing system storing a replicated trusted ledger used to maintain value balances.
