Mobile media pause and resume
In embodiments, the present invention provides a method and system for managing playback of content delivered to a mobile device with a pause and resume functionality. The method and system including receiving delivered content on a mobile device, initiating playback of the delivered content, pausing playback of the content being delivered to the mobile device in response to an action and resuming delivery of the content upon a request.
Apparatus and method for product marketing
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a media processor having a controller to present media content provided by a media content source operating in an interactive television (iTV) network, access a client program which presents an overlay that superimposes onto the media content, wherein the client program enables the media processor to associate at least a portion of the media content with a user-generated comment, receive the user-generated comment, wherein the user-generated comment provides commentary on the portion of the media content, associate the user-generated comment with the portion of the media content, and transmit the user-generated comment to a third party for determination of marketing parameters of the portion of the media content. Other embodiments are disclosed.
AI-based campaign and creative target segment recommendation on shared and personal devices
A method includes obtaining (i) device data associated with multiple electronic devices and (ii) advertisement data associated with one or more advertisement campaigns. The method also includes identifying first features and second features, where the first features correspond to the device data and the second features correspond to the advertisement data. The method further includes generating a graph relating usage history of the multiple electronic devices and one or more advertisement genres. The method also includes identifying a specified electronic device from among the multiple electronic devices and an advertisement segment from among the one or more advertisement campaigns using the first features, the second features, and the graph. In addition, the method includes providing the advertisement segment to the specified electronic device.
Webpage zone exposure rate optimization
Methods, systems, and programs are presented for determining exposure rate. One method includes an operation for operation for receiving a request, from a client device, for a value of an exposure rate of a zone within a webpage, the request comprising at least one search parameter and information about a viewport of the presented webpage. A check is made to determine if the exposure rate has been previously calculated. When the exposure rate has not been previously calculated, a visibility height of the zone is calculated and stored in a memory. When the exposure rate has been calculated, the visibility height is retrieved from the memory. Recordings of members accessing the webpage are analyzed to determine when the visibility height of the zone is visible in member devices accessing the webpage. The exposure rate of the zone is calculated based on the determinations of visibility of the zone.
System and Method for Collecting Data from a User Device
A system and method for rapidly and scalably tracking user presence at a user device. The system determines if a person is at the device, i.e. in a position in which they are capable of interacting with content displayed on the device. The ability to track user presence may be linked with an ability to measure attentiveness. The system operates bymay collecting sensor data during the output of information by the user device and by mapping the sensor data to a presence parameter to obtain presence data indicative of variation of the presence parameter over time. The presence data is synchronised with contextual attribute data to generate an effectiveness data set that links evolution over time of the presence parameter with corresponding contextual attribute data obtained during the output of information.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO PRE-SCALE MEDIA CONTENT TO FACILITATE AUDIENCE MEASUREMENT
Methods and apparatus for pre-scaling media content to facilitate audience measurement are disclosed. An example method includes encoding a media content sample in accordance with a first encoding configuration and playing the encoded sample. The example method also includes attempting to detect the codes in the sample, and computing a ratio between the codes encoded in the sample and the codes detected when the sample is played.
METHOD AND COMPUTING DEVICE FOR PERFORMING DYNAMIC DIGITAL SIGNAGE CAMPAIGN OPTIMIZATION
Method and computing device for performing dynamic digital signage campaign optimization. Screen data associated to screens controlled by the computing device and requirements of active campaigns are stored at the computing device. The screen data comprise characteristics of the screens and screen activity data defining the activity the screens for the active campaigns. The computing device receives requirements of a candidate campaign and generates a mathematical model based on the requirements of the candidate campaign, the requirements of the active campaigns, and at least some of the screen data. The mathematical model is transmitted to a mathematical solver and a mathematical solution generated by the mathematical solver is received. The computing devices generates configuration data for the candidate campaign based on the mathematical solution. The configuration data define a configuration for displaying a content of the candidate campaign on selected screens among the screens controlled by the computing device.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS TO IDENTIFY CONSUMER CONTENT EXPOSURE
Apparatus, systems, and methods to identify consumer content exposure are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one memory; machine readable instructions; and processor circuitry to at least one of instantiate or execute the machine readable instructions to detect a first exposure of a first consumer to a marketing campaign during a first time period; identify the first exposure as a first recency exposure; detect a second exposure of the first consumer to the marketing campaign during one of the first time period or a second time period; when the second exposure is detected during the first time period, identify the first time period as an iterative frequency exposure; and when the second exposure is detected during the second time period, identify the second exposure as a second recency exposure.
CROSS-DEVICE MESSAGE TOUCHPOINT ATTRIBUTION
Fragmented user engagement stacks are generated from users that use multiple devices to view messages. The fragmented user engagement stacks include a universal unique identifier (UUID). A computer platform stores cross-device mapping information, derived from a shared characteristic between two or more devices, that associates the UUIDs of multiple devices to a single user. The computer platform processes the cross-device mapping data to identify the UUIDs from different devices associated with a single user and to join touchpoint encounters from the single user to generate at least one cross-device user engagement stack. The computer platform uses the cross-device user engagement stack and the response data to determine attribution as a measure of influence attributed to touchpoint encounters from a single user.
Saliency prediction for informational documents
A content saliency network is a machine-learned neural network that predicts the saliency of elements of a content item. The content saliency network may be used in a method that includes determining a set of elements in draft content and computing a first pixel-level vector for the content. The method may also include, for each element in the set of elements, computing a vector of simple features for the element, the simple features being computed from attributes of the element, computing a second pixel-level vector for the element, computing a third pixel-level vector for an intermediate context of the element, and providing the vectors to the content saliency network. The content saliency network provides a saliency score for the element. The method further includes generating an element-level saliency map of the content using the respective saliency scores for the set of elements and providing the saliency map to a requestor.
