In an embodiment, the electronic offer is suggested in response to a request for a receipt made by the consumer. In an embodiment, the electronic offer is automatically approved by the offer provider and is included in a transaction receipt transmitted to a data processing system associated with the consumer.

Method for accounting for impact of uncertainty in customer surveys

A method for identifying, contracting, evaluating, bounding, and filtering out uncertainty in survey data is provided. The method includes: receiving survey responses with respect to a customer survey; constructing a simulated numerical model that replicates the structure of the original survey by using responses that are generated randomly from distribution of responses with constraint variability that specifically account for the uncertainty that arises from the subjective nature of sampling response from an ordinal range of possible options; matching between the original survey and the numerical model using a machine learning algorithm; and evaluating and filtering out the uncertainty of the original survey. In addition, a method is offered to constrain and contract the uncertainty by assigning survey responses to corresponding evenly distributed bins and by calibrating the survey responses by attaching a short textual description to each of the ordinal values in the original survey.

The example apparatus also includes a weighting response engine to calculate a weighted response for the treatment dataset and a weighted response for the control dataset by: mapping the first set of weights and the second set of weights to a uniform weighting identifier, determining a constraint matrix based on the first set of weights, the second set of weights and the uniform weighting identifier, and bypassing multivariate reweighting by calculating the weighted response for the treatment dataset and the weighted response for the control dataset by applying maximum entropy to the constraint matrix.

The example programmable circuitry is also to determine a primary user of the user account based on the impression data and based on second demographics of multiple users of the user account, the multiple users including the primary user. Additionally, the example programmable circuitry is to modify the first demographics associated with the user account based on at least some of the second demographics, the at least some of the second demographics corresponding to the primary user.
