System and methods for determining consumer brand awareness of online advertising using recognition
The present invention is directed to system architecture of a measurement platform configured to determine advertisement awareness by consumers and methods for determining advertisement awareness by consumers at low cost. The system architecture is flexible and may be applied to any advertisement and is configured to operate without involvement or approval of the advertiser. The system uses user recognition rather than user recall as an indication of measuring awareness within a publisher's website, by tracking advertisement exposure to consumers and dynamically constructing sample interrogation sets to query consumers.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACQUIRING COMMENTARY ABOUT A MEDIA CONTENT EVENT
A query session system and method is operable to determine a current location of a consumer conversation acquisition system when the consumer conversation acquisition system is a mobile electronic device or determine a current operation of the consumer conversation acquisition system when the consumer conversation acquisition system is stationary. Stored state information corresponding to the determined location or operation is accessed that identifies one of a receptive state of the consumer, an unreceptive state of the consumer, or optionally an indeterminate state of the consumer. The query session is presented to the consumer when the consumer is the receptive state. A query session presents a series of audible questions to the consumer that pertain to a subject media content event that the consumer has previously consumed. Responses of the consumer to each one of the presented audible questions of the query session are acquired and are saved.
MEDIA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SUPPORTING A PLURALITY OF MOBILE DEVICES
An interactive media management server that facilitates management of interactive media and delivery of such interactive media. It comprises a first interface to an interactive media distribution server communicatively coupled to a plurality of mobile devices, and a second interface to a service provider system or a content provider system. It comprises a manager module for managing creation, distribution and tracking of a plurality of interactive media. The manager module, via the second interface, manages the delivery of the plurality of interactive media from the service provider system or the content provider system, and the communication of user responses to the plurality of interactive media to the corresponding service provider system or content provider system.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO DETERMINE INFORMED HOLDOUTS FOR AN ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGN
Methods and apparatus are disclosed to determine informed holdouts for an advertisement campaign. An example storage medium includes instructions that, when executed, cause a machine to retrieve user identifiers associated with purchase instances; determine households that correspond to the user identifiers; identify a first and a second group type, the first group type exhibiting a first threshold of purchase behaviors, and the second group type exhibiting a second threshold of purchase behaviors; identify a first holdout group and a second holdout group, reduce computational lift calculation resource consumption by constraining the first holdout group to a first percentage, constraining the second holdout group to a second percentage, the first percentage equal to the second, the first and the second holdout groups are not to be exposed to an advertisement campaign; and determine a lift calculation for the advertisement campaign based on the first and the second holdout groups.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR PAGE COMPOSITION
A system and related devices and methods facilitating orchestration of page composition based on performance of one or more portions of the page are disclosed herein. An exemplary system may comprise a first device and a second device. An exemplary method may comprise providing to a client device, a first portion of a requested page while waiting for one or more service calls required to render a second portion to return, and after a time at which the one or more service calls required to render the second portion return, providing the client device with the second portion, the one or more service calls required to render the second portion having a higher latency than any service calls required to render the first portion.
Automatic recommendation of digital offers to an offer provider based on historical transaction data
According to an embodiment, a data processing system for managing electronic offers comprises: a memory storing a set of historical transaction records pertaining to past consumer transactions and a set of offer data relating to an offer provider; and a logic module adapted to automatically suggest an offer to the offer provider based on at least a subset of the historical transaction records and at least a subset of the offer data, the offer being targeted at a consumer. In an embodiment, the electronic offer is suggested in response to a request for a receipt made by the consumer. In an embodiment, the electronic offer is automatically approved by the offer provider and is included in a transaction receipt transmitted to a data processing system associated with the consumer.
Behavioral content discovery
A system and a method for automatically collecting content, the method comprising the steps of: defining a plurality of content sites, creating a collection of virtual agents data including user characteristic data and user behavioral data, presenting the collection of virtual agents to the plurality of content sites; receiving content from the visited internet site; and storing the received content or presenting it to a user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO ATTRIBUTE REAL-WORLD VISITS OF PHYSICAL BUSINESS LOCATIONS BY A USER OF A WIRELESS DEVICE TO TARGETED DIGITAL CONTENT OR PUBLICLY DISPLAYED PHYSICAL CONTENT PREVIOUSLY VIEWABLE BY THE USER
Methods and systems that record the location of a user and transmit targeted content to a user based upon their current and past location information. A network is configured to include a server programmed with a database of targeted content, a database of location information, a database of user information, a database searching algorithm, and a wireless communication system capable of communicating with the user's mobile device. The location of the mobile device is ascertained and recorded. The location information is analyzed to determine the routes taken by the user, businesses visited by the user, and other behaviors of the user. Targeted content is sent to the mobile device of the user or exposure to physical content is tracked. Whether the user visits the physical locations associated with the content is monitored. Detailed conversion tracking is provided to producers of targeted content and business owners.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING SURVEYS ELECTRONICALLY OVER THE INTERNET
An automated survey system that performs surveys over electronic media is described. The system receives a survey in an electronic format, the survey having survey questions. Then, a group of registered survey participants is selected for participation in the survey. Next, the survey is electronically distributed to the registered survey participants in the group selected. Responses to the survey questions are then electronically received from the registered survey participants in the group selected. The survey system then processes the responses to determine survey results. The automated survey system is advantageous because it provides a more effective, less cumbersome way to carry out a survey. Survey participants are more willing to participate and surveys can be completed significantly faster than conventionally possible. The surveys can also incorporate multimedia effects for much broader, more realistic and entertaining surveys.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING ACCESS TO A PROMOTIONAL OFFER
A method of facilitating access to a promotional offer, the method comprising: receiving at a server system a page request from a client device; and sending program code executable in a browser application to the client device in response to the page request, the program code being executable to display at least one promotional offer and a promotional code, to provide a flash object at a display position of the promotional code and, in response to selection of the flash object, to cause the promotional code to be copied to a user-accessible memory of the client device and to open a new browser display of the browser application.
