AUTOMATICALLY ANALYZING MEDIA USING A MACHINE LEARNING MODEL TRAINED ON USER ENGAGEMENT INFORMATION
20190095946 · 2019-03-28 ·

A stream of media eligible to be automatically shared is received. Using a machine learning model trained using engagement information regarding one or more previously shared media, a media included in the stream of media is analyzed to output an engagement analysis. Based on the engagement analysis, a determination is made on whether the media included in the stream of media is desirable to be automatically shared. The media is automatically shared in an event it is determined that the media included in the stream of media is desirable to be automatically shared.

TERMINAL DEVICE, DETERMINATION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
20190095947 · 2019-03-28 · ·

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program that causes a processor of a terminal device to execute a process, the process includes detecting at least one of information on an operational state of the terminal device and information on the orientation of the terminal device; and when predetermined information is displayed on a screen of the terminal device, calculating a change in careful watching of the screen by an operator who operates the terminal device, based on at least one of the information on the operational state of the terminal device and the information on the orientation of the terminal device.

SELECTING A CONTENT ITEM FOR PRESENTATION TO A USER OF AN ONLINE SYSTEM AT A CONTENT PUBLISHER BASED ON A GUARANTEED NUMBER OF IMPRESSIONS OF THE CONTENT ITEM

An online system communicates information describing deals guaranteeing impressions of content items within specified time periods to a content publisher at which the content items may be presented. The online system receives information describing an assignment of each deal to a placement position within a website for the content publisher. Upon receiving a request to present a content item to a viewing user of the online system at a placement position, the online system identifies candidate content items associated with deals assigned to the placement position, in which the candidate content items are associated with targeting criteria satisfied by the viewing user. Based at least in part on a number of impressions achieved by each candidate content item in relation to a number of impressions guaranteed for the candidate content item, the online system selects a candidate content item for presentation to the viewing user at the placement position.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PUBLISHING MULTIMEDIA DATA, SERVER AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A method for publishing multimedia data is disclosed. A user identifier of a user using a terminal and a target media position of the terminal are obtained. A plurality of multimedia data to be published is acquired. An outcome, associated with each of the plurality of multimedia data when the respective multimedia data is published at the target media position, is determined based on a set of characteristics. The set of characteristics includes at least one of a first credit characteristic, a second credit characteristic and a third credit characteristic, a user characteristic of the user identifier, a content characteristic of the respective multimedia data, and a position characteristic of the target media position. Based on the outcomes associated with the plurality of multimedia data, the target multimedia data is selected from the plurality of multimedia data, and sent to the terminal to be published at the target media position.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RETARGETING IN VEHICULAR ADVERTISING SYSTEM
20240249319 · 2024-07-25 · ·

A method for retargeting in a system including a plurality of vehicles having exteriors configured to convey messaging to occupants of other vehicles. Communication signals including information relating to time-stamped locations of the vehicles are received. Time-stamped location data including a first plurality of the time-stamped locations is provided to a mobile location data aggregator. A first set of anonymized identifiers associated with mobile device users known to be within exposure zones associated with the time-stamped locations is received from the mobile data aggregator. The first set of anonymized identifiers is provided to an audience data service provider, which returns other anonymized identifiers associated with the first set of anonymized identifiers. An augmented exposed audience is formed by adding the other anonymized identifiers to the first set of anonymized identifiers. Advertisements are caused to be provided to devices corresponding to at least a subset of the augmented exposed audience.

Methods and systems for online to offline conversion tracking an optimization
12045853 · 2024-07-23 · ·

A call conversion tracking system that automatically tracks call-based communications initiated from web-based invitational content id disclosed. The system generates and presents a web-based invitation that includes a dynamically assigned telephone number that is assigned to an anonymous web visitor with advertising metadata that is usually sent to a web server when a user clicks (or taps) an online ad.

Geospatially informed resource utilization

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for adjusting physical location usage for a plurality of particular locations. Methods can include obtaining a three-dimensional (3D) representation of the given geographic area, wherein the 3D representation depicts a view of the given geographic area from a specified viewing perspective. For the given geographic area, traffic data is obtained indicating different traffic volumes during different time periods and one or more traffic characteristics. The 3D representation is segmented into a plurality of particular locations. For each particular location among the plurality of particular locations and based on the traffic data, a viewability score is determined that indicates an aggregate amount of time that the particular location is viewable by traffic passing the different locations. Physical location usage is then adjusted based on the viewability scores for the plurality of particular locations.

SYSTEM FOR ASSOCIATING OFFLINE DATA WITH ONLINE ACTIVITY
20240244027 · 2024-07-18 · ·

A system for collecting and indexing data by associating a unique identifier (generated by and provided from an external computer system) with a data file. The data file is acquired from a user operated computer system. The system comprising a series of computers provided in signal communication with one another via a network. The data file could include data collected by a form provided by a website hosted by a web server. Additional data collected from other sources (stored as a record), such as a computer system operated by an agent, would be associated with the collected data file by an inquiry management company. The collected data and associated records are forwarded to a computer system that tracks online users/visitors. The process can marry computer collected data (other than the data file) about website activity with activities independent of the website.

Use of localized broadcast signals to modify mobile application behavior
12039566 · 2024-07-16 · ·

A method is disclosed for tracking advertisement effectiveness. First information associated with desired advertising information is broadcast from at least one of a plurality of fixed information nodes. A mobile unit receives the broadcast information and outputs the desired advertising information. An advertisement counter is started at the time of receipt of the broadcast information and presence information is broadcast from at least one of a plurality of fixed monitoring nodes over a restricted broadcast range, which at least one fixed monitoring node is disposed in a predetermined fixed physical proximity with a vendor location. The broadcast presence information is received at the mobile unit and a presence counter is started in response to receipt of the presence information. At the mobile unit loss of receipt of the broadcast presence information, the presence counter is stopped.
