Systems and methods for remembering held items and finding lost items using wearable camera systems
Apparatuses and methods are provided for storing information related to objects associated with a hand of a user via a wearable camera system. In one implementation, a wearable apparatus for storing the information is provided comprising a wearable image sensor configured to capture a plurality of images from the environment of the user, and at least one processing device programmed to process the images. The processing device may detect the hand of the user, and an object associated with the user's hand. The processing device may proceed to store information related to the object. Consistent with disclosed embodiments, the stored information may be used for various purposes, such as warning the user of dangers, catering advertising to the user, and helping the user find objects when they are lost.
Content management and delivery system
Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for determining user engagement with a content item. A computing device accesses at least one image of eyes of a user that is captured while a client device is presenting a first content item on a display of the client device. The computing device determines, based on using the at least one image as input in a neural network, a gaze of the user. The gaze including coordinates at which the user is looking in relation to the client device. The neural network was trained based on machine generated images of a modeled human user looking at various coordinates. The computing device determines, based on the gaze of the user, an engagement score for the user. The engagement score indicates a level of engagement of the user with the first content item.
Electronic system and method for advertisement pricing
The present disclosure generally relates to an electronic system, a computerized method, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for advertisement pricing. The system comprises a host server configured for performing steps of the method comprising: generating an electronic map representation of a geographical area; demarcating the electronic map representation into a plurality of demarcated regions; retrieving, from a transaction database, transaction data associated with merchant transactions in the plurality of demarcated regions; receiving, from a telecommunications service provider, mobile traffic data for generating consumer traffic data indicative of consumer traffic activity in the plurality of demarcated regions; and performing an advertisement pricing process to determine advertisement prices for each demarcated region based on at least the transaction data and consumer traffic data.
GENERATING A MODEL DETERMINING QUALITY OF A CONTENT ITEM FROM CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONTENT ITEM AND PRIOR INTERACTIONS BY USERS WITH PREVIOUSLY DISPLAYED CONTENT ITEMS
An online system presenting sponsored content items to users obtains information about quality of the sponsored content items from users to whom the sponsored content items are presented. For example, a user hiding a sponsored content item or reporting a sponsored content item to the online system describe quality of the sponsored content item. By correlating ratings of a sponsored content item by professional raters with a quality ratio of number of reports of the sponsored content item by users to a sum of number of times the sponsored content item was hidden and the number of reports of the sponsored content item, the online system trains a model to determine the quality ratio for sponsored content items based on characteristics of the sponsored content items. When selecting sponsored content items for a user, the online system penalizes or subsidizes a sponsored content item based on its determined quality ratio.
SELECTIVE USAGE OF PRODUCT MODELS
A system for identifying products in a retail store is provided. The system may include a processor configured to: receive an image depicting a store shelf and a product displayed thereon; select a product model subset based on a characteristic of the store shelf determined based on analysis of the image; determine whether the product model subset is applicable to the product; and when the product model subset is applicable to the product, analyze a representation of the product depicted in the image using the product model subset, and identify the product based on the analysis of the representation of the product.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO MONITOR MEDIA PRESENTATIONS
Methods and apparatus to monitor media presentations are disclosed. Disclosed example apparatus include memory, instructions, and at least one processor to execute the instructions to at least receive demographic information from a user, transmit the demographic information to a central facility, cause storage of a consent identifier in a pasteboard of the media device, the consent identifier accessible to a first instrumented application and a second instrumented application executed in a sandbox environment, the consent identifier to indicate to the first instrumented application and the second instrumented application that monitoring is allowed, access the consent identifier from the pasteboard, present media, generate monitoring information if the consent identifier permits collection of monitoring information, not generate monitoring information if the consent identifier does not permit the collection of the monitoring information, and transmit the monitoring information to the central facility.
MANAGEMENT OF MOVING OUTDOOR ADVERTISING
An advertising campaign may be carried out using moving outdoor advertising. Advertisers typically like to manage and track the success of their advertising campaigns. Aspects of the present application may be seen to assist with such management and tracking by providing impression analytics, location analytics, time analytics and frequency reports. Furthermore, aspects of the present application may be seen to provide an ability to augment a moving outdoor advertising campaign with a mobile device retargeting advertising campaign. Then, such metrics as return on investment, profit and gross profit may be tracked. In some aspects, Wi-Fi signals and Bluetooth signals may be collected from mobile devices that are in the range of a Moving Impression Analytics Tracking Device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TARGETING DIGITAL CONTENT AT PRODUCT TERMINALS USING REFERENCE DATA
A targeted advertising scheduling and displaying process in the context of product terminal displays is made possible by systems and methods as disclosed herein. A graphical user interface (GUI) allows a content provider to select digital content and display timing instructions, which the associated server will ultimately send to a server associated with the product terminal displays by first sending data that references the digital content and includes the display timing instructions, and then sending the digital content itself in response to the execution of the data at the server associated with the product terminal displays. Using this claimed technique and system, a content provider can target digital content to particular product terminal displays.

Social media merchandising and advertising platform
Consistent with embodiments of the present invention, a social media merchandising and advertising platform may be provided. The platform may enable any third party website, page, or entity referred to herein as an “advertiser” to post interactive content on a publisher's website. The interactive content may comprise, for example, a customizable badge. The platform may enable the advertiser to create, customize, and deploy the badge for display and access on the publisher's specified domain. Moreover, the platform may enable the advertiser to provide the publisher with various specifications and elements to be integrated into a customized badge and, in turn, provide the customized badge to a publisher. Either the publisher or advertiser, individually or collectively, may then post the advertiser's badge to a website.
