Automatic data integration for performance measurement of multiple separate digital transmissions with continuous optimization
In one embodiment, a method includes obtaining, from a demand-side platform (DSP), impression data specifying service providers and consumer tokens representing consumers who have received digital impressions of a set of advertising campaigns. A set of tokenized claims data records related to a prescription of a product is then received from a database server. A result set of integrated measurement records specifying measured campaigns linking the tokenized claims data records with impression data associated with consumer tokens and/or service provider identifiers is further received from the database server. Aggregated analytics reports based on the integrated measurement records are generated and presented. A machine learning model may be trained using a training dataset comprising features selected from the impression data and tokenized claims data records, to predict bid values or other parameters for use in updating, optimizing or modifying operation of the DSP for the original campaign or for other campaigns.
Smart media display
A method of utilizing Wi-Fi based passive motion detection to deliver targeted advertising through a smart TV is provided. The system uses an agent in connection with the wireless access point that the Smart TV uses to access the internet to make motion determinations. The CSI data of the access point is analyzed to identify if a user is present, if the user is stationary, the previous location of the user, and the activity the user is currently engaged in. An advertisement may be selected based on a last visited location and activity. Such advertisements may further be delivered to more engaged viewers when the advertiser pays a higher rate.
Automatic login link for targeted users without previous account creation
An auto-login system and process enable maintaining user accounts on a server without a user having to register or create a user name, password, or other authentication method. An account may be created without user knowledge. The server may transmit a content item to a target user, along with a link. A server identifies the target user from use of the auto-login link and collects interaction or engagement data while the user is logged in, to assess user interest in products, for example, a mutual fund investment product, which may be characterized by tags and/or categories. The system may quantify a product salience metric for a given product relative to a target user's interest profile to focus marketing efforts and support engagement with interested target users, especially securities funds and financial advisors.

A method and apparatus for tracking a conversion of an advertisement provided through an application are disclosed. The method includes generating, in response to selection of an advertisement through a first application installed on a first user terminal, a click log including a first advertiser identifier corresponding to an advertiser of the advertisement and a first user identifier corresponding to the first user terminal, generating, in response to reading of an informational message through a second application installed on a second user terminal, a conversion log including a second advertiser identifier corresponding to a sender of the informational message and a second user identifier corresponding to the second user terminal, and tracking whether a conversion event occurs due to the advertisement by mapping the click log and the conversion log.

A disclosed example apparatus to monitor a media device includes: an input to obtain a signal at a universal serial bus port of the media device; and a bit rate comparator to: determine the media device is involved in a data transfer if a bit rate of the signal exceeds a threshold; and determine the media device is not involved in the data transfer if the bit rate of the signal does not exceed the threshold.
Predictive recommendation system using absolute relevance
In general, embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods and computer readable media for ranking promotions selected for recommendation to consumers based on predictions of promotion performance and consumer behavior. In embodiments, a set of promotions to be recommended to a consumer can be sorted and/or ranked according to respective relevance scores representing a probability that the consumer's behavior in response to the promotion will match a ranking target. In embodiments, calculating scores is based on a relevance model (a predictive function) derived from one or more contextual data sources representing attributes of promotions and consumer behavior. In embodiments, an absolute relevance score represents an absolute prediction of a ranking target variable. In embodiments, absolute relevance may be used to determine personalized local merchant discovery frontiers; featured result set thresholding for impressions; and/or promotion notification triggers. In embodiments, predictive models based on gross revenue may be optimized using promotion category-dependent price boosting.

A computer receives a request for graphical display source code for a computerized graphical advertisement display, and retrieves seed images including a plurality of seed image features. The computer generates candidate images based on the one or more seed images, where the computer alters a first aspect of a seed image to generate an altered seed image having a plurality of altered seed image features and the computer alters a second aspect of the altered seed image to generate a candidate image having a plurality of candidate image features. The computer generates candidate image scores based upon a context of the advertisement display and the plurality of candidate image features. The computer selects an image from the candidate images based on the candidate image scores and generates the graphical display source code based on the selected image, a size of the advertisement display, and display capabilities of the user device.
Customizing Immersive Media Content with Embedded Discoverable Elements
A media system stores immersive videos and embedded affordances for each immersive video. Each embedded affordance has a temporal range, a spatial location, and a corresponding reward. A viewer selects and plays a first immersive video. While playing the first stored immersive video, the viewer navigates to different spatial portions of the first immersive video using a spatial visibility window. The viewer activates a first embedded affordance of the first immersive video according to the spatial location and temporal range of the first embedded affordance. In response, the platform initiates the reward corresponding to the first embedded affordance. The reward includes a reward token deposited into an account corresponding to the viewer. The viewer later uses a redemption user interface to redeem a plurality of reward tokens from the account (including the deposited reward token) for a single aggregated reward.

An example audience measurement apparatus includes a reporting message receiver to receive a first reporting message from a client device coupled to a residential gateway having an internet protocol (IP) address. An AME ID determiner is to assign an audience measurement entity (AME) identifier to the IP address provided by the received first reporting message. A redirect instructor is to send a redirect instruction to the client device to cause the client device to send a second reporting message to a database proprietor, the redirect instruction to include the AME identifier and the IP address. A DP message reporting receiver is to receive, in response to the sent redirect instruction, a third reporting message from the database proprietor that includes a database proprietor (DP) identifier.
