MESSAGING SELECTION SYSTEMS IN NETWORKED ENVIRONMENTS
Users of personalized messaging systems can encounter message fatigue, thereby reducing the efficacy of a message on its intended recipient. Message fatigue can result in wasted computational resources and bandwidth as messages transmitted over a network to the user's client device are not acted upon at the client device. For applications involving desired user interactions and responses, personalized messaging can be a tool to achieve user engagement targets. The systems and methods presented herein may address several of the technical challenges with personalized messaging.

Automated lists
Categories of items are dynamically generated by analyzing purchasing habits across multiple customers. Product categories showing affinity one with another are grouped together and offered to customers as a bundle. Particular items within bundled categories are selected by analyzing purchasing habits with respect to various customer demographic profile habits.
CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND DELIVERY SYSTEM
Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for determining user engagement with a content item. A computing device accesses at least one image of eyes of a user that is captured while a client device is presenting a first content item on a display of the client device. The computing device determines, based on using the at least one image as input in a neural network, a gaze of the user. The gaze including coordinates at which the user is looking in relation to the client device. The neural network was trained based on machine generated images of a modeled human user looking at various coordinates. The computing device determines, based on the gaze of the user, an engagement score for the user. The engagement score indicates a level of engagement of the user with the first content item.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TARGETED EMAIL MARKETING
A system for targeted email marketing includes one or more processors, and a memory storing instructions. When executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the system to perform operations including: generating email templates respectively corresponding to different customer marketing communications; sending first emails to first customers, in which each of the first emails includes one of the email templates in accordance with an initial allocation; compiling response information from the first customers and updating a bandit model in accordance with the response information, the bandit model for determining an allocation of the email templates to customers; determining, by the bandit model, a revised allocation of the email templates to second emails; and sending the second emails to second customers in accordance with the revised allocation.
Bidding agent with optimized reach limitation
A method for maximizing the number of users who receive an optimal number of ad impressions. The method may be implemented for a bidding agent or in connection with a system for augmenting ad placement data across bidding platforms that bid on ad opportunities in a real-time bidding ad exchange. The system is able to use tracking pixels in order to optimize bid placements. The system is intended to manage user ad placement so as to increase the number of placements received by individual users so that the campaign has an increased impact on eligible users and reduces the diluted exposures to users who receive less than optimal exposure.
METHOD FOR MEASURING EFFECTIVENESS OF SAMPLING ACTIVITY AND PROVIDING PRE-MARKET PRODUCT FEEDBACK
Methods, systems and devices for evaluating a product sampling event. The disclosed methods, systems and devices receive from a user a user identification specific to the user and compare the user identification to a user data set stored on a computer-readable medium. A sample is then delivered based on a predetermined condition, and a product value is changed after the step of causing delivery of the sample of the product. It can then be determined whether the user purchased the product after delivery of the sample of the product and, based on that determination, a sampling event value can be assigned. The user's preferences can also be used to provide a more custom sample with a user's order for example, with online or home delivery shopping.
CONSUMER INTELLIGENCE FOR AUTOMATIC REAL TIME MESSAGE DECISIONS AND SELECTION
Methods and apparatus for improving automatic selection and timing of messages by a machine or system of machines include an inductive computational process driven by log-level network data from mobile devices and other network-connected devices, optionally in addition to traditional application-level data from cookies or the like. The methods and apparatus may be used, for example, to improve or optimize effectiveness of automatically-generated electronic communications with consumers and potential consumers for achieving a specified target.
Customizing immersive media content with embedded discoverable elements
A social media platform stores immersive videos and embedded affordances for each immersive video. Each embedded affordance has a temporal location, a spatial location, and a corresponding reward. A viewer selects and plays a first immersive video. While playing the first stored immersive video, the viewer navigates to different spatial portions of the first immersive video using a spatial visibility window. The viewer activates a first embedded affordance of the first immersive video according to the spatial and temporal location of the first embedded affordance. In response, the platform initiates the reward corresponding to the first embedded affordance. The reward includes a reward token deposited into an account corresponding to the viewer. The viewer later uses a redemption user interface to redeem a plurality of reward tokens from the account (including the deposited reward token) for a single aggregated reward.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADVERTISING ON CONTENT-SCREENED WEB PAGES
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a method is provided for advertising on a content-screened web page. The method includes receiving an impression request for a URL for which an advertising impression is desired; screening HTML content of a web page identified by the URL; generating a rating for the URL based on the HTML content of the web page; assigning the rating to the impression request; and serving an advertising impression on the web page based on the rating.
