A method of playing advertisements according to exemplary embodiments includes collecting data of at least two viewers near a display, extracting relationship information of the at least two viewers based on the data, determining advertisements to play on the display according to the relationship information, and playing the determined advertisements on the display.

Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are configured to monitor event information relating to an event broadcasted to an audience of a social networking system. The event information can include users who are participating in the event. It can be determined that a predetermined entity is participating in the event. A notification that the predetermined entity is participating in the event is provided during the event to at least one of a broadcaster of the event and a user participating in the event.

An activity-information system is provided. The system comprises an activity-information server and a plurality of activity-information devices. A method and system for the ordered modification of a recurring event in a calendaring application. A method for applying ordered modifications to recurring event instances, can include identifying an event exception which corresponds to a separately defined recurring event instance. Subsequently, at least one property of the recurring event instance can be modified based upon the event exception. Additional event exceptions corresponding to the recurring event instance can be further identified in accordance with a preferred aspect of the present invention. For each further identified additional event exception, at least one property of the recurring event instance can be further modified based upon the further identified additional event exception. Notably, each of the identifying and modifying steps can be repeated for additional recurring event instances.

A portable projection turret deployment is provided with a media projection subsystem (MPS). The MPS has a display surface aligned in a vertical plane, as is conventional. In one aspect, the MPS display surface can be rotated in a plurality of horizontal directions. In another aspect, the MPS display surface can be rotated (spun) in a horizontal circle.

The system comprises: a participant activity monitoring unit configured for monitoring a performance of the activity by the participant; an activity information module configured for storing performance information corresponding to the activity; and a participant performance correlator configured for delivering comparative performance data based on the monitored performance of the activity by the participant and the stored performance information.
