MIXED REALITY SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFICATION OF A COMMERCIAL OFFERING
A response to an advertisement driven stimulus is effected by locating a portable Mixed Reality (MR) device at a terrestrial position at a point in time; identifying a fixed point advertisement in proximity to the portable MR device based upon the device's terrestrial position; and providing a response specific to the fixed point advertisement. The point in time is determined by a signal from the portable MR device with respect to an advertisement, whereafter the MR device is located by receiving a navigational signal. Communication is automatically established with a central data server where the fixed point advertisement is identified by comparing the terrestrial position of the portable MR device with a plurality of tabulated positions of fixed point advertisements. A unique identifier associated with the portable MR device and position of the device are utilized by the data server to tailor a specific response to the advertisement based stimulus.
Monitoring advertisement impressions
A targeted in-game advertising system is provided where advertising content may be delivered to a video game network environment. Advertisements may be delivered through the tagging of advertising assets in the video game environment according to one or more characteristics including user geographical location, personal preferences, a personal profile, video game preferences or video game genre. Methodologies for tracking advertising impressions are also provided based on monitoring the video game environment to determine the quality of impression to which the user is exposed in the video game environment.
MEDIA CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM
A method of providing media content to a target media device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes obtaining ambient attribute information for at least one ambient attribute at the location of the target media device, selecting a media content item from at least one source of media content items according to a correlation between the ambient attribute information for the at least one ambient attribute and a set of ambient attribute selection conditions associated with the media content item and providing the selected media content item to the target media device for output and/or storage.
TIME-DEPENDENT DEMOGRAPHICS FOR DIGITAL BILLBOARDS
In examples provided herein, a method comprises calling a demographics package to analyze data associated with electronic toll tags used on a toll road along which a digital billboard is positioned to determine time-dependent demographics of drivers of vehicles driven on the toll road. The method also includes calling an advertisement selection package to identify an advertisement to be displayed on the digital billboard, where the advertisement to be displayed is based on the time-dependent demographics of the toll road. Further, the method comprises transmitting the advertisement to be displayed to the digital billboard.
Mobile Device Recommendation System and Method
A system, method, and computer program product provides recommendations with a mobile device recommendation system to a user of a mobile device. The recommendation system collects data set A comprising ambient sensor data from sensors of a plurality of mobile devices of a selected population located remote from the mobile device of the user. A data set B is also collected over the network wherein data set B comprises social media data transmitted from and/or related to a plurality of venues and/or events located within a selected geographic area. A data set C comprising data received from the user of the mobile device and/or the mobile device of the user is also collected. The data sets A, B, and C are analyzed and a recommendation is provided of at least one of the venues and/or events within the selected geographic area based upon the analyzed data.
Constrained environmental monitoring based on data privileges
A sensor mechanism in an environmental monitoring device provides sensor data that represents an environmental condition in an external environment that includes the environmental monitoring device. Then, a control mechanism in the environmental monitoring device generates subsets of the sensor data based on data privileges of different entities, where the data privileges of at least some of the entities are different from each other, and at least some of the corresponding subsets of the sensor data are different. For example, the data privileges may specify: different spatial extents in the external environment monitored by the sensor mechanism; and/or different types of information associated with the external environment. Next, an interface circuit in the environmental monitoring device provides the subsets of the sensor data to electronic devices associated with the entities.
Parking Reservation Verification System and Method
A system and method are disclosed for vehicle parking reservations that provides a map software application including a plurality of publically accessible vehicle parking location listings. A parking reservation application accepts vehicle parking location reservation requests and then matches vehicle parking location reservation requests with vehicle parking location listings. In response to matching, a reservation order position is transmitted to a mobile unit. The mobile unit may be a self-powered vehicle, towable vehicle, portable station, or autonomous vehicles. A mobile unit parking application compares the reservation order position to a mobile unit geographic location, and automatically transmits a tamper-proof automated reservation confirmation, without any human intervention, once the mobile unit occupies the reservation order position. In some circumstances, the parking reservation application may accept a vehicle parking location reservation request from a first entity even though the mobile unit is associated with a second entity, independent of the first entity.
METHOD
The method includes obtaining interest information indicative of an object of interest of a user, selecting advertisement information based on the interest information, and notifying the user of the advertisement information on a way to or from an event venue of the user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRESENTATION OF MEDIA CONTENT TO MULTIPLE USERS
Systems and methods are described for determining whether each of a first user and a second user has consumed a first media content item. In response to determining that each of the first and second users has consumed the first media content item, a predicted future interaction between the first user and the second user is determined. A second media content item is presented to each of the first and second users prior to the predicted future interaction. The second media content item comprises content relating to the first media content item.

The system comprises: a participant activity monitoring unit configured for monitoring a performance of the activity by the participant; an activity information module configured for storing performance information corresponding to the activity; and a participant performance correlator configured for delivering comparative performance data based on the monitored performance of the activity by the participant and the stored performance information.
